Intertiki - if you change the client server key after initial setting it gives Invalid key error on login
To reproduce, setup a new client server setting under Known Hosts on the InterTiki master. All works fine. Then modify the key for the setting, and you will find that login now fails with Invalid Server Key message. The reason why this is so is because the "key" is used as the "key for the preference setting" and also at the same time used for the "key to determine if there is such a setting for that server". So obviously it cannot function for both these uses robustly if it can be changed.... |

InterTiki backlinks / SisterWiki / Extend External Wiki feature
((doc:InterTiki)) permits to share login, preferences and groups between various Tiki sites. We need the Sister Wiki too! http://www.wikimatrix.org/wiki/feature:SisterWiki Continue discussion here: ((Sister Wiki)) ((doc:backlinks)) are very cool. But what about backlinks from other sites? We could use list from: http://doc.tiki.org/External+Wikis Related: [wish2086|Backlinks between trackers and wiki pages (and maybe forums)] [wish1768|Tracker plugin to get title and make link to tracker item] |

Live support system is broken
I made a test of the live support system, which seems broken in Tiki 13. Error 1: PHP error. The lslib.php get_event is not matching the tikilib::get_event() definition. The tikilib verison is used by tiki_score The live support system correctly shows the online status of an operator, it seems Error 2: When a client attempt to contact live support it is difficult to get the event through to the online operator. I had to reload the operator panel to get it. Error 3: The chat messages are not relayed, making the live support completely useless. --- I now spotted this mail thread: https://tiki.org/forumthread48606 Pascal mentions this should be killed if it doesn't work, and I tend to agree. Having a dysfunctional support system is worse than none at all. However, the Live Support is a very nice feature, if it did work properly (and looked better). --- I did some fixes to the Live support system, so it functions again. However, the status is not good and it is not recommended to use it on "critical" sites. The errors listed above should be fixed though. The functionality can really beneficial to some sites. The whole system should be revamped. |

live.t.o: Add a new param to plugin BigBlueButton so that only recordings longer than X minutes are displayed
live.t.o: Add a new param to plugin BigBlueButton so that only recordings longer than X minutes are displayed See it reproduced in https://tiki.org/Live > BBB current recordings (once loged in) There are 140+ recordings, and most of them are kind of demo trials, of less than 10 minutes. Last year 2013 I spent like 1h reviewing the short meetings and deleting them from the recordings list, since they pollute the list. But every month there are new of those recordings, demo, tests, support requests in the wrong place, etc. and it's tedious to do this manual work, which might happen also in other sites using Tiki + BBB. A simple workaround would be to add an extra param to the ((doc:PluginBigBlueButton)) so that only recordings longer than X minutes (default to 10' ?) are displayed in the recordings list. |

menu export data includes html (and other characters?)
__Looks like this only happens for menus that have got the "Wiki parse" option set__ When a menu is exported the resultant CSV file contains html (and other end of line characters?) for the Name field Particular difficulties occur when the option to wiki parse the label is set 'on' ie the Name field may have something like: ~np~Home {img src="img/icons/home.gif" height="12" width="12" alt="Image"}~/np~ so that a small icon is included - but when this is exported it appears as: ~np~Home <img src="img/icons/home.gif" height="12" width="12" alt="Image" class="regImage pluginImg" />~/np~ with additional spurious end of line characters that do not show up in the Excel spreadsheet Similar end of line characters appear on all simple text entries in the Name field. The difficulty arises when you want to reimport previously exported data and this then causes corruption It looks like the parsed output of the Name field may be being exported instead of the simple stored value ? |

Wrong feedback to comment poster when Comments Moderation is on and post is not shown
Missing (12.x) or wrong (13.x) feedback to comment poster when Comments Moderation is on and post is not shown However, in the show.t.o instance for 12.x, I couldn't get the same behavior I saw a few weeks in a 12.x in localhost. Current issues reproduced in the show.t.o 12.x instance: Adding a comment as anon to the homepage (with comments moderation enabled): http://xavi-9794-5310.show.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php {CODE()} Notice: Array to string conversion in /var/www/xavi-9794-5310/vendor/bombayworks/zendframework1/library/Zend/Filter/Alnum.php on line 144 {CODE} {CODE()} Your comment was posted. No object information provided. {CODE} In 13.x I saw the same output (without the initial array notice): {CODE()} Your comment was posted. No object information provided. {CODE} This seems to be an error message: {QUOTE()} __No object information provided__ {QUOTE} And "Your comment was posted." is a missleading information, since the comment is not visible yet (until moderation happens). So a better message could be shown in this case, something like: "__Your comment was posted but is pending moderation, and until approval, it will not be shown__" When viewing the page again, it says: "There are no comments at this time." when you would expect to see something like: "__There are some comments hidden pending moderation__" --- ^ __And last, as registered users, there is no feedback of what happens in that tiki site that their comments are gone after clicking at "post".__ ^ |

Newsletter completion text and download log message not shown when 'throttling' is used
When a newsletter is sent, at the end of the list of emails that it has been sent to, a 'completion' text message is shown and an option provided to download a log of that send (where download actually means list in a vanilla' white screen) ie Newsletter successfully sent to 4 users. Download Log File However if newsletter throttling is set then after the final email is sent this completion sequence is no longer shown which is very confusing for the user who is left in doubt whether the send is finished |

Non-parsed part of heading via inclusion rendered as hexadecimal key like "§3b24424f3be6a8f1f0937355e8f37ee8§" in table of contents
If a heading contains a non-parsed section, it normally shows fine in classic tables of contents (generated by maketoc). But if such a heading comes via the inclusion of another page, instead of the non-parsed content, the ToC will display an alphanumeric key. For example, with the following source in an including page: {CODE(colors="tiki" theme="default")}Here are the phases of life. {maketoc} {include page="Childhood"} {CODE} ...and page "Childhood" containing a call to maketoc and a "Ages ~np~~np~~/np~~np~[0, 5]~/np~~np~~/np~~/np~" heading, the including page would show 2 ToC-s. The first one, generated by its direct maketoc, would be broken, showing the link label as something like "Ages §3b24424f3be6a8f1f0937355e8f37ee8§". The second one, generated by the included maketoc, would be OK, showing the link labeled as "~np~Ages [0, 5]~/np~". Several plugins use non-parsed sections to prevent their content from being parsed repeatedly. Therefore, this bug affects calls to some plugins, notably FOOTNOTE. This bug and {wish id=5496} are parser regressions from {commit id=48937}. This is related to {wish id=4235}. [http://chealer-232-6728.show.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=HomePage|The homepage of the show instance for this ticket] demonstrates the bug. |

Offline Tiki: add a way to save/view content offline
The Export feature is nice, but it would be nice to export/save wiki pages with html formatting intact. A way to edit offline then sync changes would be even better, but for now, I'd settle for a way to just view pages offline. ML: You can ((doc:mail-in)) and ((doc:watch)) (mail-out), but no true sync XML-RPC? IMAP? http://www.socialtext.net/help-en/index.cgi?working_offline_with_unplugged See: ((Offline)) Would be really nice to combine with an encrypted password manager for offline storage -> ((User Encryption)) |
