I want to enable comments on wiki pages.

I have two options right now, both have advantages and disadvantages.

Enabling comments on pages

* Pros
o Easy to configure
o Comments are visible directly on the page
* Cons
o No way for people to monitor all posts on the site. Often people post a comment on a a page and never get feedback.


Associating a discussion forum thread to each page

* Pros
o Everyone on the site gets to see every posting that's made on any page. Increases the likelyhood that someone will respond to a post.
* Cons
o More difficult to configure.
o Postings are not visible directly on the page.

It would be nice if we could have the best of both.

What I would like is something where:

* A discussion forum for the wiki can be enabled at a single click of the mouse.
* This single click of mouse would result in threads being a
utomatically created on this mailing list for each of the wiki pages
* The top 5 messages for a given page would be displayed directly on that page.

I'm using the BigBlueButton as stadalone and it works fine.
But there is an audio problem when I use it as a feature in Tiki.
Everything works fine except the audio. When I click on the headset it doesn't join the audio server (freeswitch).

I have the same problem on this site:

Tested on Tiki 6.3, 7.0beta2, 7.0RC1 with the same effect.

Since this is vast project, we'll use a wiki page: ((CRM))

Calendar URLs are currently excluded for spiders and bots, for example:

/calendar?focus=1268089200&viewmode=week

excluded by entries:

Disallow: tiki-calendar.php
Disallow: /tiki-calendar.php

However, the URL /tiki-tell_a_friend.php?url=%2Fcalendar%3Ffocus%3D1268089200%26viewmode%3Dweek would be spidered instead.

Dear Sir:

This may not sound as a bug, but this could be a problem for people who use tiki to build a professional website.

In an ideal CMS, no one has to know what platform the webmaster is using. Knowing the platform from first sight is considered a huge flaw in the design of the CMS. It's not my position to defend this statement, but you're professional developers, and you understand how this should be the first piece of information any hacker is looking for. Honestly I'd be already surprised if this not clear.

With that said, let's state the problem: The problem is that every php page in tiki has the prefix "tiki-", like "tiki-index.php". Now why?

Let's look at this rationally. Does this benefit the user with anything? Absolutely not. As it looks to me, it's just a show-off of the kind "hey look, this website was made by tiki, and the webmaster couldn't get rid of those urls exposing him".

Trust me, some companies will just refuse to use the whole platform because of this! Usually organizations are paranoid about security.

So please, fix this. Just remove every "tiki-" from every file name. There's not a single good reason to have it done this way.

PS: Renaming the files myself is not considered a solution. Even if it works, an update will mess it up.

The online translation on i18n.tiki.org is not working.
I want to test on show.tiki.org first and later come back with detailed report.

On show.tiki.org the online translation works smoothly! No problems.

So I guess, we have either a configuration problem or a server problem - I will refer aswell to the infrastructure team. //done//

The user "gour" did report about an adress error (redirect or .htaccess) in the dev-list and I faced frequently the last days, that the tick-box of the translation is not working, the translation dialogue on i18 is different than ist should be (just compare with show.tiki.org), the translation does not save - is that Ajax or JS? <-> loading for ages, but not finishing - not any result, just endlessly loading.

I use GNU/Linux Ubuntu 14.04
Firefox: tickbox of interactive translation get's not staying ticked, translations are editable on both sides (original and new)
Chromium (Chrome): activating interactive translation seems to work on the first view, but ticking the box or deactivating the interactive translation via quickadmin causes WSOD

if you youse the redirect plugin in an article you cannot edit the article as it redirect the page even in edit mode

If you create a tracker with one field which is a text area set to WYSIWYG, plus another field which is an Item Link that has the "Add Items" options set, the WYSIWYG editor will not load using the TRACKER module. It must be a conflict in the two scripts. Disabling the "Add Items" option allows the WYSIWYG editor to load fine.

A first not yet integrated, but usable feature preview for the "Areas" feature

The field type "items list" has to be applied in a target tracker.
The field type "items list" compares a field of a source tracker with a corresponding field of a target tracker and displays the content of a number of pre-selected fields of the source tracker in the target tracker.

I have setup an example use case on show.tiki.org. Please review __[http://torsten-11143-5621.show.tikiwiki.org]__ for further detailed information.

In this example use case the source tracker contains the adress data of locations, where a self-empoyed service technician named "Peter Wright" has to work when jobs are assigned to him by his customers.

The target tracker contains all relevant Job related data.

The source tracker and the target tracker are interlinked with one corresponding field in each of both trackers, which have the same field title and a corresponding content (here the "location name").

Based on the selection in the correspondiung field of the target tracker, another field of the target tracker shall display the content of a number of pre-selected fields of the source tracker.

The field type "items list" works with "item link", but it does not work with "dynamic item link / dynamic item list".

The list of fields linked from the source tracker is __not sortable__. But for a proper display it would be crucial, that this list would be sortable.

It would be very handy, or better said a logically expected functionality, tht tis field type would be working with "dynamic item list/link" aswell. This is not a bug, but missing this functionality could be considered as a partially non-finalised development.
