Here in Germany, and most likely in other parts of the world as well, we use an ISO based week numbering system.

The Calendar display the week starting Monday, January 5th 2009 as week 1, while in fact, as least here, week 1 starts on December 29th.

TW seems to use Date.getWeekOfYear() to get the week number. That must be considered a bug, since that doesn't take locales into account.
Instead, TW should use strftime with %U, %V or %W, depending on the locale or depending on settings.

This is backed by PHP "bugs" 19719 and 14422 for example, which were identified as not being bugs at all. The docs of Date are not very clear on what getWeekOfYear() really returns. Both bug entries show how to determine the week number correctly.

An admin created an calendar event, with date and time in time zone Europe/Berlin. In this example 17:15 Uhr - 18:15 Uhr. In creation view it looks like this:

A user with only permissions to read the calendar event, can see the correct time in calendar view but it is wrong in event view. 1 hour later, although CET as a time zone is written behind:

I expect the time like in the calendar view and in the item view like an admin it can see.

Preferences are configured like this, and changes on that, doesn't bring up any changes. Even with a different time zone it is everywhere 1 hour difference.

Setting the Custom URL option in a Calendar to either Yes or No still allows a single field for a URL to be added to an event and in neither case do the inputs 'accumulate' into drop down options like the other other Custom options.

Setting the Custom Subscription list option to either Yes or No appears to not change anything and no new options are available for an event.

Still a problem in 3.0rc1

If you have a Calendar where the Custom Priority, Category, Location and Participant options have been set, when editing an event if you Preview the edits then the refreshed screen no longer shows these options in the edit area and saving the event loses the data previously typed in.

I found that bug in 3.3. and now upgraded to 4.1. but it is still there. If I add a reccuring event in the calendar it ignores that I want to add an event which started yesterday and goes for one week - and that every month. After hitting save the event is always stored as happening today and only today - and is not added to happen again next month. Editing is ignored too. Played around with that now for quite some time, at least with my install the "recurring" feature seems totally messed up. Sometimes it works (for existing multi-day events after editing those, but the added recurring events are only one day entries). Creating a new single day recurring entry from scratch doesn't work for me too (no entry at all is created). Can someone confirm that?

Missing information: How is one supposed to enter that an event happens indefinitelly often? There is "end before" as "number of times" and "day before it should end". So what number should I enter?

Two errors are observed when I enter events after March 8, 2015:

If entered as a single-day, all-day event (e.g. start March 9, end March 9, all-day box checked), after hitting "Save" the start date changed to the day before, creating a two-day event. If I open the event while logged in as admin, it reads start March 8, end March 9. If I open the event while logged in as anonymous, it reads start March 8, end March 8.

If entered as a single-day event spanning two hours (e.g. 10am-12pm), the calendar shows the even staring one hour later (e.g. 11am). If I open the event it still reads 10-12, but the display after it is closed says 11am.

I noticed that all the calls to the SQL plugin were killing my intranet website when going to version 4.x. Digging deeper I've narrowed it down to the ADONewConnection call of the wikiplugin_sql.php file. On that line of code PHP dies and I am left with a white page. I have tried playing with the call itself and even going to PDO which worked well enough to complete the page without dying, however I don't know enough about the PDO paradigm to actually retrieve data and rewriting the entire data retrieval strategy seems a bit extreme.

Upon learning of dbreport, the only other plugin I know of to also use ADONewConnection plugin, is also failing I've decided this might be an issue in the plugin engine itself which is beyond me to resolve. One black box at a time is my general approach to things and this now relates to ADO and the plugin engine.

I will continue to look at this issue, however assistance from bigger brains for PHP than my own would be a good thing.

When logging in wrongly with LDAP (no such user or wrong password), will get:

Strangely this only happens if you key in a password 5 characters or longer. A shorter password will just show "Invalid password" or "Invalid username" as the case may be.

As admin I view _article_, then click on the "Multilingual globe". This brings the translation page. At the bottom I select new language and press "Change language" button. All I receive is "Page not found" error.

Can not edit Wiki Pages in Tiki 13.0 using Chrome or Netscape. IE10 is working fine.

Details: I upgraded my Server from Tiki 7.0, PHP 5.2, MySql 5.1 to Tiki 13.0, PHP 5.6, MySql 5.5.

I needed to do the Datebase Upgrade with the console.php. Otherwise tiki-install.php stuck with an error in Perms/Context get_user_xxx:

Then I did choose Unified Search and upgraded and rebuild the index with the console.php.

After this I can edit Wiki pages using the IE10 10.0.20 x32 or x64 Browser just fine!

But Chome and Netscape Browser on Windows and Linux both x32 and x64 versions are have all the same error: They do not allow to put the cursor into the edit pane and there seems to be somthing that blocks the mouse and cursor to get to the edit textarea.

Can someone verify this behavior?

Has someone a solution for this?

I try to install Tikiwiki 3.1 on a PostgreSQL 8.3.5 database.
I create a local.php file and installer will find and connect the database.

After clicking on "continue" during the "Install profile" screen, the installer fails, printing the following message

Fatal error: Call to a member function fetchRow() on a non-object in /wiki/dev/3.1/appli/tikidev/installer/installlib.php on line 247


Looking at the shema database, there is only 5 tables
tiki_dynamic_variables
tiki_minichat
tiki_pages_changes
tiki_plugin_security
tiki_send_newletters_files


and 2 sequences

tiki_minichat_id_seq
tiki_sent_newletters_id_seq



Is there a fix ?

Receiving "Account disabled" error every time user logs in. User can temporarily log in using the activation link ("Account validated successfully"), but once the login cookie expires or the user logs out, user receives account disabled error when logging back in normally.

As the admin I can't add permissions to Registered users or a new user group. In 3.1, I was getting errors when logged in as Registered user that I couldn't upload even though that was available to me (there's an open bug report about this). I don't get that error now and I can upload as a Registered user, but I cannot then go back and see it - no Galleries are visible to me. I can see them as an admin, though, but that is not useful since users need to view galleries also and aren't able to.

Also, I got these errors when I upgraded to 3.2:

I have a category structure with several levels.

But if I create a new wiki page and click on the __Categories__ tab, I only see the first level categories. And there is no way to open them up to assign a subcategories. So in effect, you can only assign a Level 1 category to a wiki page.

Note that I CAN view the > level 1 categories in the __Admin > Categories__. I just can't assign any of them to a wiki page.

Note that I am using the __Workspace UI__ feature which does some stuff with namespace of categories. Maybe that's the issue?

BTW: I upgraded this site to 12x, and it still exhibits the bug:

I tried to reproduce the bug on show, but am not able to.

And even on my site alpacatechnologies.com, it seems the bug only occurs when I am using the Darkroom theme (but on show, it works even with when using Darkroom).

I'll keep investigating.

When I click 'Save' on the 'Create/Edit Survey' page, it displays the 'Are you sure you want to leave this page?' warning.

If I click yes, no survey is created. If I click no, well, nothing happens.

When trying to add a new page to an existing structure or create a new structure, I got the following error:

Field 'structure_id' doesn't have a default value

I check mySQL DB tiki_structure table, find the field 'structure_id' is not NULL,I check structlib.php,I find structlib.php not set the value of 'structure_id',only set 'parent_id',I guess that struclib.php have wrong.
structure is important feature ,wish to solve this problem

Have had this issue since 1.9.10.1 and it's still there in all subsequent versions even though the previous bug report detailing the same issue (#1649) says it's fixed.

The posted solution may work - although the Comments section of that bug report details a differing fix.
Would be good to get this fixed in the codebase rather than manually adding a fix to each new release.

Can't remove any items from a Wiki Structure directly after adding it to the structure. HTML/NULL error.

The bug was originally discovered on doc.tiki.org. I thought this could be due to the large volume of items we have in that Structure but I was able to reproduce the bug on a simple instance of Show.

When I click on the red X to delete a blog or a blog post, I am taken to another page. This page has a button that says "Click here to confirm your action". I click on the button, I get on the status bar, "Waiting for mywebsite.com...", then the same page comes back up. No matter how many times I click on the button, I get back the same page. This is with the account that created the post, blog and has admin rights.

Selecting a plugin alias (tiki-admin.php?page=textarea) and clicking "delete" gives a error (blank page) and nothing happen.

I've had this issue with different tiki versions:
9.4 (production website, using tiki since 2005)
9.4 (test website, fresh install)
9.6 (test website, updated from a 9.4 fresh install)

I could no reproduce it on tiki 9.4 on show.t.o, but I just tried a 9.3 instance, and I get the issue back with the following error message:

I don't know if regression or not

Dunno if this is a bug or a "Features", but if it's a "Feature", then it still needs to be addressed because I wasted 20 mins trying to figure out how to drag and drop modules.

Here is the problem:
* Start with a barebone installation of Tiki
* Go to Admin > Modules > All Modules
* Click on any module and drag it to the right hand side of the page
** Nothing happens.
* Click on any module and drag it to the left hand side but into a blank space somewhere below the menu.
** Nothing happens
* Double click on any module (as per the instructions on the Admin > Modules > All modules page) in order to edit it
** Nothing happens

It seems the only places you can put the modules are:
* Top or bottom
* Or on the right hand side, but you have to drop it over the menu.
** This is not intuitive. I am not trying to insert the module into the menu. I am trying to put BELOW the menu. So it never crossed my mind to drop the module ON the menu.

I do Admin > Wiki > No Tab (i.e., tiki-admin.php?page=wiki) , go down to the Wiki Watch section, I see:

I click on __Enable now__.

I end up at tiki-admin.php?page=features

I go back to Admin > Wiki > No Tab, and it still says:
