Mods Problem-Update Remote Index not working
When trying to update or rebuild remote index from Admin Mods section in tw site, get an error message stating: Impossible to open http://mods.tikiwiki.org/Packages/00_list.public.txt/Packages/00_list.public.txt : Connection timed out The URL used under config mods was http://mods.tikiwiki.org. I didn't have the problem until I ugraded to 1.9.8.3. I got on IRC, and suggestion was made to try http://mods.tikiwiki.org/Packages/00_list.public.txt, which gave same message. The admin mods area tells me the permissions to write are correct, so it doesn't appear to be a permissions problem. |

Module "events" breaks themes
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} Assign the module ''events'' on the left, and you get a weird looking of the left menu, and a disappering content on the right side. Assign it to the right side results just in wrong textcolors for the left menu. In both cases the bottom bar will be shown in the menu (on the corresponding side where the events module is assigned). Tested with all stadard themes, for all the same result. And it doesn't show a calendar with events, so it's useless at all. Tested with firefox 2 and 3 under linux. Btw: Module calendar also shows no calendar, but at least it doesn't break the themes. |

Module assignment broken
* Go to tiki-admin_modules.php * All modules tab * Drag any of the module to any of the boxed areas, * => the system stays hung up with with a progress bar that says "Loading" This happens in Trunk, not 12.x (but there is no Trunk option in the selection, so I marked it as 12.x). UPDATE: Actually, this was solved by re-running composer. |

module forums_last_posts doesn't work with flat style forum threads
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} The __forums_last_posts__ module works well with "threaded" style forum threads but not with "flat" style forum threads ("''Only allow replies to the first message''" option in a particular forum config). The __threadId__ url part isn't right, it should be the threadId of the first post. The following error message is diplayed: "''This forum is flat and doesn't allow replies to other replies''" A link to a first thread post will work (threadId is right for this one), but links to its answers wont. The __since_last_visit_new__ module displays the right urls for forum posts in "flat" style forum threads. Admin password for the show instance is: whynot |

Module go to a 500 related to theme_navbar_fixed_topbar_offset (multiple errors in fact)
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} On a Tiki29 (updated from Tiki27) I had a 500 error trying to access different admin areas. I could track the issue on the admin module panel. {CODE()} thrown in /home/opensourcesolutions/public_html/tiki-admin_modules.php on line 638 #0 {main} Stack trace: [20-Oct-2025 13:14:47 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: string + int in /home/opensourcesolutions/public_html/tiki-admin_modules.php:638 thrown in /home/opensourcesolutions/public_html/tiki-admin_modules.php on line 638 {CODE} Tracking the error lead me to understand that, in this Tiki the "theme_navbar_fixed_topbar_offset" was empty. And this caused a problem. After reseting to the default 90px i could access to the module. This shouldn't happen. ;-) |

module last_image_galleries and tiki-galleries.php together produce blank page
Using recent 1.10svn, and as user "admin". Assigning module last_image_galleries to a side column lists the name of the last image gallery created. So far, no problem. When clicking on image galleries links, a blank page is shown. Either "browse galleries" (tiki-galleries.php ), or "Admin home > Image Galleries" (tiki-admin.php?page=gal), produce the same effect. |

Module my_ledger (CC Mod) not showing balance if using param float=>right
Using CC Mod [http://cc.tikiwiki.org/Mod+Community+Currencies] on a 1.10cvs from mid june 2007: Here: http://www.moviments.net/intercanvis/Moneda+social I'm using this code: {CODE()} {MODULE(module=>my_ledger,float=>right,decorations=>y,flip=>y,max=>10,np=>0)}{MODULE} {CODE} However, a user with trasnaction, is showing nothing in the module. However, if the same user goes to: [http://www.moviments.net/intercanvis/cc.php?page=ledgers&my=1] , then some balance is shown. It looks that there some bug at my_ledger module --- updated: the problem seems to be with the float param. By the way, the call to module plugin was made inside a third column of a split plugin. |

Module tiki_tests does nothing
The module tiki_tests does not seem to have a purpose. When you enable feature_tikitests you can add the module. But the module does nothing except for displaying to links, /tiki_tests/tiki-tests_list.php and tiki_tests/tiki-tests_record.php. Both do nothing. If you click on them, nothing happens. If I copy the link targets and open them in a new browser tab, I get the advertising of my ISP (which is the protective default behaviour if a file cannot be accesses. But FTP shows that the path and filename are correct, so I guess those files are either protected or lack the necessary flags so PHP won't touch them. Because of the label "test" I would assume that is on purpose so admins do no harm to their installation, but if that's case I would suggest a meaningful error message instead. Or some way of circumvention. |

Module title "Git detail" should be improved
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} The module title "Git detail" is not normal English. Usually as a title or heading, the plural form "details" would be used, and especially so in this case since there are two details, the git commit hash and the date and time. So at minimum I strongly recommend changing "detail" to "details". But "Git detail(s)" in the module header and "Git information" in the module body have essentially the same meaning, so there's some redundancy here; so I suggest changing the module title to "Git information" and then changing "Git information" to "Branch" or "Commit" or "Branch and commit" (whatever would be better) in the module body. Also, a small thing, but there needs to be a space after the colon following "master". |

Modules style is incorrect CSS class name
Every module is within a div.box that includes the module name, e.g. div class="box login_box" and div class="box My User Module Name" But I don't think spaces work in CSS, so I'd say this is a bug. Additionally, it seems this div that frames every module has no tepmplate file (that I could find). If it is hardcoded (i.e. .php), it should be made a template (.tpl). |

More then one verticle PHPlayer causes a bug
I created one menu with multiple sub-items. I then applied it to user module, e.g. {phplayers id=44 type=vert} And displayed it on the right column. All good so far. But when I added another menu with PHPlayers, e.g. {phplayers id=45 type=vert} then the first menu no longer showed the roll-over menus in the proper place, nor did they disapear after exit. |
