forums editor not loaded in t.o mobile (13.x or next.t.o 14.x)
Forum editor (wysiwyg?) can't be loaded in mobile device (tested with chrome on android smartphone). Example url: https://next.tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=52179 If it can't be properly fixed, at least wysiwyg editir shoukd be disabled when in mobile devices? --- ^ __Update as of March 16th 2015 __ Bug still present in next.t.o (sorry, I can't see the revision number any more at "Settings > Control Panels > General > General Preferences"). I did clear the ./temp/public/ cache folder, reloaded the url indicated in the bug report in a browser at the computer (wysiwyg shown), and then something equivalent on Chrome on Android smartphone, and still can't see the textarea to type. So please, don't close a bug report unless you tested the fix with the described steps to reproduce it, even if some other bugs are fixed that "should" or "might" also fix the reported bug, etc. At the most, change status to "pending" while requesting to the bug poster to "Please retest". forums in t.o unusable: help!
forums in t.o unusable: help! I tried to reply to this forum post https://tiki.org/forumthread62480 with my user "xavi" adding this content: {QUOTE()} Hi enelson and welcome to the Tiki Community Have a look at the authentication methods available in Tiki: https://doc.tiki.org/Login+Config and external authentication: https://doc.tiki.org/External+Authentication If the main CMS was Tiki, you also configure same login through several methods tested and working elsewhere ( ((doc:Intertiki)), among others). What does composr offer that you can't get in Tiki? (just curious) {QUOTE} The post is not saved. I tried 3 times. No way. Clicking at the top at the link to "prev topic" produces this url: https://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=62487&topics_offset=-1 which returns this error message on a semi-WSOD page: {CODE()} Error Notice: invalid variable value: $_GET["topics_offset"] = -1 {CODE} I tried then to go to the list of forums through the usual SEF url: https://tiki.org/forums but that is re-sent to the tiki home page with the blueish perspective https://tiki.org/tiki-index.php I'm looking for an alternative way to simply go to the forums list in tiki.org and I can't find it anywhere in the blueish perspective. I presume that this is related to some bad configuration or bugs with perspectives. But I can't confirm, and I can't change them any more as simple user in tiki.org. Shouldn't we expose the main app menu somewhere (at the bottom, at least) for registered users??? Help! |

gif images not properly handled in dev.t.o
Uploading an animaged gif image file that shows a bug reproduced is not an easy task tin dev.t.o. I had to do that because the record rtc feature is not usable yet, and I wanted to reproduce the issue visually. I did that in an animated gif. I edited the corresponding [item7795|bug report], and uploaded the gif file throught the toolbar icon to "Choose or upload images". I got the image uploaded (to the default location, I didn't change it, expecting "happy path"), but the wiki syntax automatically inserted seems to not be adapted to displaying gif images. I recall that any plugin img param that attempts to resize the image converts it to png (or Tiki used to do so years ago), so that I removed the param to make a zoombox, I just left the param to indicate the fileId. But nothing was displayed in the parsed textarea of the tracker item once saved. Similarly, going to the view file (icon shown from the since last visit module) showed nothing, which might trigger the falsse sensation that the file upload failed. https://dev.tiki.org/file1?fileId=1562&view=page But it didn't fail. If you use the oldish syntax to display the image as an image, then it displays properly, as it can be reproduced here: https://dev.tiki.org/item7795-Cannot-use-Record-RTC-page-self-refreshed-before-accepting-perm-to-record Couldn't we get that plugin img when using fileId param to automati8cally display the gif image as image when the plugin notices that it's a gif image indeed? Somehow... HTH |

Zend2 missing "sslcafile" or "sslcapath" due to 'shoutbox to twitter': Unable to enable crypto on TCP connection api.twitter.com

Insert an image with editor
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} Critical Usability Problem With WYSIWYG Editor Version 4.3 "Insert an Image" does properly put an image in the Web page but the editor does not preserve the "Vspace" and "Hspace" attributes in the source code. It is not possible to do spacing around an image in a Wiki page. The editor properly shows the spacing around the image after inserting from file gallery and before preview. Looking at the source inside the editor before a preview or save shows only this example: "{img src=/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=1&display height=211 width=200 imalign=left}" While the editor properly shows the spacing (inside the editor), the source code is not set to save the spacing. It is not possible to manually enter the "Vspace" and "Hspace" into the source and save or preview successfully; the "Vspace" and "Hspace" are deleted. It looks like the source code is simply using the original Tiki text approach. This would be a deal-breaker for my users. |

Note: I have the feeling it was possible in the past (19, 20, 21). May be it is a recent change that has been merged into Tiki 21. |

Image "Upload New Version" does not update the various references to it
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} I TRIED TO SUBMIT THIS BUG BUT I CAN'T FIND IT AFTER SUBMIT. SO I AM TRYING TO RESUBMIT IT AGAIN. SORRY IF IT CAUSES A DUPLICATE. I upload an image to the File Gallery, which gets assigned id=19. Then I go to a page and insert the following Tiki markup: ~np~[tiki-download_file.php?fileId=19]~/np~ ~np~{img fileId="19"}~/np~ To (a) provide a link to download the image, and (b) insert the image inside the page. Works up to here. But then, I do: * File Galleries > List Galleries > Browse Images * I locate the image I just uploaded, and click on the the wrench icon, and then on "Upload New Version". * I upload a new version of the image * If I go back to File Galleries > List Galleries > Browse Images, I see that indeed, the old image has disappeared, and it has been replaced by the new version The problem however, is that the new image has id=20, not the old id=19. But the id has not been changed on the link and IMG plugin that I inserted on the page. So they still point to the old image with id=19. The weird thing is that I can still download image id=19 (even after clearing my cache), eventhough I can't see that image in the gallery anymore. In other words, the image is still in the DB and can still be accessed. This is definitely not how things should work. If I upload a new version of an image, then all references to that image should be updated accordingly, and I should not be able to access the old version, except in a "view history" kind of context. No? |

Adding many users to a group with Chosen fails.
Adding many users at once to a group fails in 12.x, and it used to work nicely in 9.x LTS at least. I had Jquery Chosen enabled, and when I disabled it, I was able to add them to a group through tiki-adminusers.php as usual. To reproduce, go to: http://xavi-9794-5163.show.tikiwiki.org/tiki-adminusers.php u: admin p: 12345 select both users (user1 & user2), click at "Manage group assignments", and choose to assign them to group "Admins".
