doc:PluginWYSIWYG
Testing here: http://demo.tiki.org/trunk/PluginWYSIWYG
Wishes
- The data is stored as eacute instead of é (regular WYSIWYG is OK though)
- On my local one i see & eacute; in the page source - you not? (jb)
- http://demo.tiki.org/trunk/tiki-print.php?page=PluginWYSIWYG should not permit to edit WYSIWYG, and use things like PluginDraw
- Need to decide about wikis plugins within this one (especially WYSIWYG within WYSIWYG)
- Plugin edit icon is not appearing (same issue as for PluginFile)
- PluginWYSIWYG should have a nicer icon for toolbar
-
PluginWYSIWYG should be part of toolbar, next to HTML, if activated - want simplified toolbar possibilities (hack for now is to put section="newsletters" in the plugin params then edit the newsletter toolbar)
- ex.: just table edit
- Shouldn't permit to go in edit mode for more than one plugin per page because the live edits are not saved (it's a full-page refresh)
- Now closes other open ckeditors when clicking on a new one (r39893)
- Adding smileys should use relative path
To discuss
- CKeditor has way too many options on by default
- Can we have a simple/advanced mode toggle?
- Comparing versions when there are tables: it often breaks. How to make more robust?
Only if easy
- Using PluginWYSIWYG should trigger page "lock" so no one else tries to edit that page
- Think about a similar idea to Include plugin: direct link to create/edit included page, and send back to initial page after edit, where included WYSIWYG pages would be edited
- Longer term structures and namespaces would be us more often to want to use a lot of small pages. The actual editing could be like current section edit, or go to other page and come back, or iframe or colorbox (depending on complexity)
