History: Archiving Rules

Source of version: 6 (current)

Copy to clipboard
Idea: ((doc:PluginListExecute)) to be extended for flexible archiving rules.

Ex:
* Add or change the category for files that are more than 5 years old
** By ''more than 5 years old'', we mean ''have not been modified in 5 years'', or ''the latest version is more than 5 years old''? {sign user="Jyhem" datetime="2017-03-07T02:38:42+00:00"}
* Move a file from a file gallery to another when it's more than 5 years old
* Delete a tracker item which is more than 5 years old
** Delete action without admin confirmation sounds a bit dangerous. Should it be changed category or closed status instead? {sign user="luci" datetime="2017-03-06T10:57:34+00:00"}
*** I'd say closed status with a custom comment added, like "won't fix because this refers to an old version''. {sign user="Jyhem" datetime="2017-03-07T02:38:42+00:00"}
