At this writing, tracker items on dev.tiki.org show the following error under the 'Demonstrate Bug' field:

"SSH2 extension not installed
SSH2 extension for PHP needs to be installed for show.tiki.org feature to work"

This prevents demonstrations being set up on show.t.o for those specific tracker items in the normal way.

I attempted to create a show.t.o after I successfully created a show2.t.o instance. sho2.t.o instance got created. But show.t.o didn't succeed in the install. I wonder why. Maybe you can 't create 2 instances for the same bug report, one in show2.t.o and one in show.t.o?

I am getting:

"Your Tiki is not completely installed because Composer has not been run to fetch package dependencies. You need to run 'sh setup.sh' from the command line. See http://dev.tiki.org/Composer for details."

When i create a new show site which is not in trunk, the file http://jyhem-9952-4675.show.tikiwiki.org/install_log.txt

shows an error
/usr/local/sbin//tim-create: line 87: [[: 11.0: syntax error: invalid arithmetic operator (error token is ".0")

Ok, I can fix that in 2 minutes but I really wanted to experiment with the whole show workflow as a normal user :-)
Let me fix it and close it :)

This is low priority because it doesn't affect most sites. However, hopefully, there is an easy way to exclude some fields from the RSS view (this could come in handy for other field types as well)

Creating show.tiki(wiki).org instance does not work when trying to create it on older items / not submitted by me?

There is instance http://chealer-232-3667.show.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php which is clearly missing the number 9 and first letter is not uppercase !

Gives a hint ?

As Tiki 26+ needs PHP 8.1 of greater we need to add this to show2.tiki.org please.

I created a test instance here [http://bsfez-11581-8531.show2.tiki.org] but i\m not expecting to to complete the install yet...

This is mainly a test bug report so we can try to make show instances on the two show servers for testing, and not get any existing bugs muddled up

In order to make show*.t.o servers more sustainable (in terms of disk-space consumed by show*.t.o instances), a suggestion was fired in the [https://tiki.org/Roundtable-Meeting-2020-09|TRM of September 2020]]: once a bug report is closed, then "the system" could delete the tiki file tree linked to that bug report. Mysql db could be kept, but the many hundreds of Mb in current tiki versions from the file tree on disk could be removed to respect disk resources & availability for new show*.t.o instances.

Example: show2.t.o currently consumes something like 10 new Gb per month, due to the instances being created by users.

After submitting a bug report I click on "Reproduce your bug using our feature called Tiki Show. Click here to reproduce your bug now" and then I get the error in the Subject.
Might be a current discrepancy?

It asks for password, but then, give "Error saving image: HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization Required"

When I create a show instance, the installation via TIM fails.

Update: the installation of 12.0alpha fails - the installation of 12.x works well.

Cannot show 12.0alpha, because show fails. Sucks.

And I clicked to created show.t.o instance (trunk, becuase 12.x is not available). And the spinner quickly stops (10 seconds?), with no results (no changes to the page, no link to show.t.o instance, etc)

Maybe a toggle like "Reset password to admin/12345"?

Instead of renaming _htaccess to .htaccess, it's better to make an alias. (more future-proof on svn up)

Nelson: IMO it should probably be on by default for now, and then toggle is another feature request. reassigning to amette.

show.tiki.org are not properly initialized and completely broken.

Just loading up tiki.sql is not a valid way to initialize a database.

Use the command line tools to create clean installs so that the schema tables are properly initialized, otherwise, it will attempt to install all patches on first run, and break everything, badly.
