Description

As CSS and browsers have gotten more powerful, a page refresh shouldn't be needed to turn on and off fullscreen mode. Compare with the new color mode switch: the change is instant as the browser changes CSS variable values in real time. I think the same could be done to switch the visibility of the peripheral page sections.
