Tracker X has an attachment field, A.
If someone uploads an item with A="x.doc" then the next time it would not work. It could easily happen that different users would like to use the same name for their attachment.
The point is that there is no error message forcing the user to select a unique attachment file name. Instead, it just does not record the attchment in the database and looks as if everything went well.- Importance
