- Setting feature_tell_a_friend=n doesn't affect the "Email This Post" functionality for the blog, so visitors is always offered to mail the link for a post. Imho the admin should be able to choose if this is allowed or not.
- Solution
Since the "Email This Post" functionality for the Blog uses internally its own implementation for this purpose, there (imho) three possibilities to change this:
- Use tiki-tell_a_friend.php instead of tiki-send_blog_post.php for the blog, and have only one implementation for the same purpose instead of two.
- Let tiki-send_blog_post.php respect the feature_tell_a_friend=n choice.
- Add a feature_send_blog_post=[y|n] for the admin, with tiki-send_blog_post.php respecting just this feature.
Thereby point 3 would be a very flexible solution.
The most flexible solution (again imho) would be a combination of # 1 and 3: All Email sending thru "Tell a Friend" and admin choices for:- let wiki use tell a friend
- let article use tell a friend
- let blog use tell a friend
- let forum use tell a friend
- the point is clear, isn't it ;-)
