Task/action markup for meeting notes and plans (like Twiki Action Tracker Plugin)
Well explained here: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/ActionTrackerPlugin We'd output in htask microformat http://microformats.org/wiki/htask And we'd need some sort of reporting. All tasks assigned to person X. We currently usually do this with ((doc:trackers)). But doing it fully in the wiki would be more flexible in some contexts. The system should be able to send email reminders at a certain date. This could be used as well to schedule actions / Email reminders as explained here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XwyhSEqTs0 This is part of what is needed for ((Project management)) |

Teams page doesn't list the teams anymore
See https://tiki.org/Teams There should be list of users in each team. It is gone now. Only button to remove yourself from a team appears. This is a regression. |

text annotations (select a snippet, and add a signed/dated text note)
Similar to ((doc:PluginAnnotation)) for images. This would make it easier for people to know who added what comment, when and to distinguish the main content, from notes. Similar to ((doc:PluginMouseOver)), but should be easier to use. Related: {wish id=1409} |

Textarea hidden when edit form opened (codemirror on, in dev.t.o)
The text area is shown sometimes as hidden, when I open the page: https://dev.tiki.org/tiki-editpage.php?page=Regressions+in+11x (as user xavi, with admin rights). Each time I open it again in a another browser program, then the page loads fine. Codemirror is on in dev.t.o, but with highlighter mode set to "off but switchable". This happens to me in either firefox or chromium, in several different computers (all of them with gnu/linux, in case this matters) |

The tracker item view is somehow harder to read
Look at : https://dev.tiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=6897 We have lot of space used for carriage return when this is not need. I can’t post an image (another ticket coming). Status Open Subject External icon link on dev bottom links is too close to the text Version Is taking 1/3 of the height of my screen and I have very high resolution !!! There is also a lack of distinction between elements. Subject could be in another colour, field title are not bold enough or should have a different colour, etc. Hard to focus on the data "that counts". :) Bernard |

The user is redirected to a blank page with just an email address shown, even if the user didn't click anywhere
A weird bug which was showing in tiki 4.x (calendar), and nowadays, I've seen something similar using 5.x alpha at dev.tw.o: The user is redirected to a blank page with just an email address shown, even if the user didn't click anywhere. To reproduce: http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=5&status=o&sort_mode=f_41_desc&filterfield=54&&filtervalue[54]=xavi&&&&filtervalue[56]=Accepted&&offset=30 Pass the mouse over the item saying "2 errors editing articles in tiki 3.3 ". With no click (just passing the mouse over, using Firefox 3.6.2), you are shown a blank page with just "email@domain.org" on top. That item corresponds to: http://dev.tikiwiki.org/bug2893 This is something which is also happening to a calendar in a tiki 4.x site, when the event body has some email address, it seems. HTH |

The value for the name of a file in a tiki file gallery is changed on upload and on each update without option for it
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} When you uploaded a file in the Tiki file gallery, the name field was filled with the filename of the file. IE: this-is_my-name.pdf = this-is_my-name Since a few weeks, the "name" is curated and capitalized. IE: this-is_my-name.pdf = This Is My Name WORST when the user change it back to what he want and later edit a different field of the file like the category it change back to the capitalized version. If this is a feature it should be optional and NOT change without consent the user data. It can be see and tested at the dev.t.o file gallery: https://dev.tiki.org/file18 As discussed on the Matrix chat, this is a new feature for Tiki30. I don't know why this is now on Tiki29 and (as reported by @joel.magene) in Tiki 27 and 28. |

The wiki table of contents and other menu elements, such as the dropdown menu and the navbar, are conflicting
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} When you have a table of content and a menu element, the menu should open OVER the table of content and menu link useable. Actually it is a weird mix with broken display and the menu link are not accessible. Happen also when you set a menu at the bottom that dropup over the table of content. Visible at: https://doc.tiki.org/Tiki27 {img fileId="3240" thumb="box"} |

Here, look. I'm going to link to this external page: http://www.casarizoma.org/wiki/tiki-index.php [http://www.casarizoma.org/wiki/tiki-index.php] See the extra "external" that got appended in the link (instead of after it)? |

Error 500 on some pages on tiki.org was This page isn't working
https://tiki.org/forumthread67074 Chrome: "This page isn’t working tiki.org is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500" Firefox: WSOD regression in .htaccess / route rules? It used to work. It is SEFURL for this URL: https://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=6&threadId=67074 There even is a perma-link in the bottom left of the forum post with "Link" label linking to https://tiki.org/forumthread67074-Plugin-trackers-transaction-step-on-Tiki17-2 which returns the same error. Other threads in that forum work though: https://tiki.org/forumthread68695-Email-configuration-woes So it must be that post specific thing? |

Thumbnail lightbox option doesn’t open in Comments
At : https://dev.tiki.org/item6840-tiki-listpages-php-Layout-of-the-page-is-broken in a comment I placed and img and set the thumbnail parameter to open a lightbox. It opens the image in browser tab window instead. I had the feeling I seen that (and reported) already but I couldn’t find a ticket. |

Tighter integration with Apache's > .htaccess (error messages, etc.)
When you try to access a wiki page which doesn't exist, Tiki offers you a list of similarly named pages, to search for that word, to create the page, etc. __Good.__ When you try to access other contents in Tiki (articles, blog posts, etc.) that don't exist (either have been deleted, moved, not yet published, protected, etc.), you get a Tiki error message. __Good as well.__ But what if you try an URL which is just not possible? Ex.: If you migrated from another system to Tiki and you are still getting hits with the previous URLs? Of course, you could check your access logs and add nice redirects. But how can we make this easier for site admins? The bundled _htaccess file (which you need to rename .htaccess to make active) has an example line: {img src=images/code.png}%%% {CODE()} ErrorDocument 404 /tiki-index.php?page=Page+not+found {CODE} __This is good.__ Now, how could we use this to provide the Tiki admin with a top-x error pages? And thus, it would help to detect broken links, etc. Could .htaccess include some configuration info from Tiki? So a Tiki admin could add configuration information without using FTP, all in Tiki, possibly with a secret "system" wiki page. Great inspiration: https://github.com/h5bp/html5-boilerplate/blob/master/dist/.htaccess |

Tiki 18.x keeps forgetting user preferences
I had posted this to the community, but did get no response so far, so I file it as a bug. I have activated MyTiki and avatars. In order that everyone sees everyones avatar, I set (as admin) user info to public on all registered users. First: Changing a users avatar with the switch users feature for admins changes the avatar of the admin... Second: The preference user info = public is lost. I cannot see any regularity. I always click Save changes, and there is no error message. Also, all settings from MyTiki get lost. I activated all MyTiki checkboxes for all users, and they keep vanishing. It does not seem to be a caching issue. When I set everything the way I want it and click Save Changes, the following information is immediately forgotten (and no errror message!): - Country (but stragely location is not lost...) - User information public reverts to private - Mouse over user information shows info window (if user permits) - All MyTiki settings All other preferences are stored without error. I guess that some logic or permissions rule dictates that users cannot change some preferences. If that is the case, these presets should be admin configurable somewhere and I did not find them? Anyhow, if users are not permitted to change some preferences, then users should not be presented a GUI to change them, or should get an error message that this preference is preset for them. Thanks for your support Hman |

Tiki Banning system Current rules table need to display the date of the item and search system need improvement
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} {syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} At https://tiki.org/tiki-admin_banning.php with right permission an admin can see the list of the current rules. But there is not dates, so you don't when was set a rule (could be obsolete and set 10 years ago). Editing each rule one by one doesn't help, still no date. --- The same table should have minimum tools to sort (by date, A-Z, ...) --- It seems the search system "Find" work for the "Rule title" and the "Custom message to the user" fields but it is not possible to retrieve an IP (could be something to do with search settings) |
