When trying to remove an item from a Structure, the page refreshes and there are 2 options at the top of the page that aren't very obvious to the user.

This is inconsistent with our typical Tiki UI. Usually we either have a Popup with a request for action OR a page that requests Confirmation.

I would like to see a Popup with request for action

This should be migrated to the community site, and handled with ((doc:Organic groups)) and ((doc:User Trackers))

I've been trying to add [https://doc.tiki.org/PluginList-Sublist] to the [https://doc.tiki.org/tiki-edit_structure.php?page_ref_id=4313|HomePage Plugins (Home)] structure but can't seem to do it - i've tried dragging (which used to work), adding via the input at the top and adding via the "Add page" button on [https://doc.tiki.org/PluginList] - none of which seem to work any more (in 30.x)

When trying to add a new page to an existing structure or create a new structure, I got the following error:

Field 'structure_id' doesn't have a default value

I check mySQL DB tiki_structure table, find the field 'structure_id' is not NULL,I check structlib.php,I find structlib.php not set the value of 'structure_id',only set 'parent_id',I guess that struclib.php have wrong.
structure is important feature ,wish to solve this problem

Have had this issue since 1.9.10.1 and it's still there in all subsequent versions even though the previous bug report detailing the same issue (#1649) says it's fixed.

The posted solution may work - although the Comments section of that bug report details a differing fix.
Would be good to get this fixed in the codebase rather than manually adding a fix to each new release.

Can't remove any items from a Wiki Structure directly after adding it to the structure. HTML/NULL error.

The bug was originally discovered on doc.tiki.org. I thought this could be due to the large volume of items we have in that Structure but I was able to reproduce the bug on a simple instance of Show.

When trying to add a new page to an existing structure I got the following error:

Field 'structure_id' doesn't have a default value


I could correct this very simply by going into the MySQL administrator and changing that column to have a default value of 0. I guess this is just that the DB set up SQL is incorrect and needs to have default value added to that column. I used the update SQL from 1.8 to 1.9 to create this tikiwiki so I guess that is the SQL that would need to be changed. I have not tested the new clean DB install of 1.9.

we are using some structures for making a toc page. If i add a page since we have updated to 12.1 i can put it in the list and move it to the right position. But if i click on the save button nothing happens. The progress cycle appears and nothing happens. In this structure we have about 50-100 pages.

I've created a new structure and added one page i could save it too.

If you could reproduce this issue in a show.t.o instance atached to your bug report, maybe some developer might be able to give it a chance to debug it.

Please help since we have invested much time and effort in this project, believing Tiki could filter rightly wiki pages based on perms, and since I cannot find a workaround.

When not logged in, Some wiki pages are shown, and Some others Not, while they all have exactly the same set up. They all have been categorized only in "Public Content" category which is set to Show wikis to Anonymous users, while Global perms are set to not show them to anonymous.

At this moment we have two identical wiki pages as setup is concerned:
1) http://mi.solcentral.org/tiki-index.php?page=La+Funci%C3%B3n+Esencial+y+El+Prop%C3%B3sito+de+Vida
which doesn´t show to Anonymous users (and should do it)

and

2) http://mi.solcentral.org/tiki-index.php?page=Sobre+el+Sitio+SolCentral-org
which shows well.
Note that at the botton of this page, in the listing of pages related to the category "Contenido Público" (which is the translation of "Public content"), the page "The Esential Function And Life's Purpose" (wich is the translation of "La Función Esencial y El Propósito de Vida") that is the page 1)... Then if you click on it, it will not show presenting you with the login invitation, allthough is shown in the list as categorized "Public Content".

Other extraneous behavior is that when when you use the Plugin Toc to show the structure, only shows Some wikis on some structures, and on some other structures doesn´t show any wiki.

Category Perms of "Public Content" are

for anonymous group perms that are ON:

Can view wiki attachments and download (tiki_p_wiki_view_attachments)

Global Perms are:

Can view wiki attachments and download (tiki_p_wiki_view_attachments) is ON for Anonymous
Can view page/pages (tiki_p_view) is OFF for Anonymous
View page backlinks (tiki_p_view_backlink) is ON for Anonymous


Fixes tried:

Have tried the opposite: allowing everything to be shown to Anonymous, and then restrict on pages that should be hidden with a "invisible" category with perms tiki_p_view OFF for anonymous group.

And it didn´t work since - again - for Some wikis worked, and for some others not. Even if they are identical.


Using:
Tiki 6.1 fresh code install, on past 6.0 db updated to 6.1.

When the Strasa theme is selected, the tiki edit structure page is unusable. The Page Alias box(es) background is the same color as the text within. Making the text invisible on the screen and thus impossible to edit / update / review.

There's no point in the current page in a structure "breadcrumbs" being a link, because you're already on that page, and it's even kind of misleading because it might give the impression that, because it's a link, it refers to the ''next'' page in the structure, not the current page.

My usescase has got some categories, and each one has a default namespace, so that each category can have a same named page.

When you create a wiki page the normal way, the default namespace is added to the pagename. But if you greate it using the structure navigation bar, the namespace is not added automatically.

I Guess it is easy to fix it.

In the toc we can set maxdepth (how many sub-level) we wan to display.
However there are case you need only sub-level to be displayed.

A structure ''Europe'' with several children (''France'', ''England'', etc) that have them self (''Paris'', ''London'', etc) children.

''Europe'' (top level)
-> ''France'' (sub-level 1)
-> ''Paris'' (sub-level 2)
-> ''England'' (sub-level 1)
-> ''London'' (sub-level 2)

Using the wikiplugin_toc we want to show all the second child (sub-level 2) for all the structure Europe and not any of the level above it.

The toc will show:
Paris (level 2)
London (level 2)

doc.t.o 12.x: print structure ("Tiki Reference Guide") stops after a two pages only or so.

Structure toc is something like this:

In addition, tabs in the shown pages do not work. Maybe because js comes loaded at the end, and page didn't finish loading?

In any case, the best option for tabs in multiprint is that the __notabs__ option should be automagically implied when doing a multiprint.

Request ability to add to a wiki a spoiler.

Its very useful in a HowTo environment where the spoiler will hide code that needs to be copy/pasted so the presentation is neat.

Example:
When installing my widget, you might need to copy this code to your settings:

The spoiler has a button allowing the user to click on the button so the user can copy/paste the code inside the spoiler. The user can also click on the spoiler for a second time to close it; allowing easy reading and hiding it when not needed.

For translation, I would like a way to duplicate an entire structure, and have Tiki automatically build the translation relationships between wiki pages.

For example, consider that I have the following structure in English

Structure Name
Page Foo
..Page Bar
..Page Alpha

Now I want to translate the structure to Spanish. I want Tiki to create (automatically):

Structure Name, sp
Page Foo, sp
..Page Bar, sp
..Page Alpha, ap

__AND__ create the translation relationships between the specific pages (for example from "Page Foo" to "Page Foo, sp"

Everytime I use the maketoc inside a wiki page on a fresh tikiwiki 3.2 install the whole page content is duplicated every time I hit "save". Even if I delete all the content but one version and hit save the whole PREVIOUS page is duplicated again. Like I hit save: two times the page content. I delete all but one time the content, I hit save: three times the page content. I delete all but one time ... save ... four times the page content.
Only removing the maketoc makes it possible to get rid of the problem. But meanwhile the wiki content has become a bit more (30-40 pages) and the same problem happens more and more often without having any maketoc included when the page is becoming bigger.
That was done with Opera browser on a page with 4 h1 headings but I doubt it is a browser problem. :)

tiki-edit_structure.php is completely non-functional when Jquery UI option id not selected.

Expected Behavior:

1. Display a message saying that this features needs Jquery UI to be turned on for it to work.

OR

2. Have an alternate version that functions without jquery UI

It took me hours of hunting to figure out what the issue was. Hopefully we can prevent this in the future.

If you create a page or subpage for a structure with the bar above the displayed page you will asked for a language. after you select the language and enter the text into that page and submit it the page gets created but not put into the structure

I tried some other languages, but it seems only to apear with the german translation.

The wiki css breaks if u change to german. most pages work well, but the wiki gets killed

Say a Tiki site is translated in 18 languages. If I only speak one language, the "best language" works for me. But if I speak 3 languages, I would like to be able to easily see the content in those 3 languages without being shown the rest.

Suggestion: For each use to have an ordered list of preferred languages.

For example, a user selects:
1- French
2- English
3- Spanish

and let's suppose we add a language setting to forums. Please see :[http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?trackerId=5&itemId=1030|i18n forums]

So, when I list the forums, I want to see those 3 forums, but not the other 15. Without a system like this, it makes it easy for everyone to be tempted to just stay in their main language.

Another example: wiki page translations. If a wiki page is available in 18 languages, just show the user the list from their preferred languages

This would be very useful for wiki structures. Using the next/previous in structure would show page in the user's preferred language, if available. This would be useful for doc.tikiwiki.org and the Mozilla Support site.

It's impossible to add an existing page to a structure. Here I was trying to add the Nginx page https://doc.tiki.org/Nginx to Structure: Tiki Installation Guide / Advanced Settings

Doesn't work on https://copydoc.tiki.org/ either

Problems:

1- The procedure is super hard to find, buried in the second paragraph of (couter-intuitively) the new page section: https://doc.tiki.org/Structure-User#Adding_a_new_page

2- The officially documented procedure doesn't work
a) There is no drop target feedback when you try to move the page from the search at the bottom of https://copydoc.tiki.org/tiki-edit_structure.php?page_ref_id=3571&find_objects=nginx&search_objects=Filter&categId= to a part of the structure.
b) Mouse wheel scrolling is inhibited while scrooling, so it's impossible to reach many elements of the structure. That's a bug. If it's also a misfeature, the search area should not scrool with the structure.
c) The drop doesn't work. Nothing seems to happen no matter what part of the structure element I drop the page on.
d) Even if it did work, the save button referred to in the doc would appear off screen at the top.

3- The intuive procedure (the places a normal use would look) isn't there.
a) From the https://copydoc.tiki.org/Advanced-Settings page, I presume I am supposed to use the "Type to search ... | Add Page | [] Child" interface on the right of the structure navigation. But:
I. There is no hover help
II. If I type and select the Nginx page and click Add Page, it takes me to the edit page of the right page. But if I save the page, it's not added to the structure.
III. The "Child" Button has no effect on the above. Even if it were a new page, I don'T understand what it's for. I am already on a a structure page, where else than as a child would I want to add the page (new or existing). But maybe it's for something else, once again there is now hover help.
b) From the page itself https://copydoc.tiki.org/Nginx
I. For a site using structure, if I have access to edit the pages I would expect an interface to add the page to a structure for a site using structures. But I guess some people may only want structures on part of the site.
II. From the edit interface (https://copydoc.tiki.org/tiki-editpage.php?page=Nginx), I have a Categories tab. I would expect a similar "Structures" tab. Failing that The interface clearly implies that clicking on Properties / Structures would allow me to place it, but it does not pre-fill the page in search (It should at the very least point to https://copydoc.tiki.org/tiki-edit_structure.php?page_ref_id=3571&find_objects=nginx&search_objects=Filter) , and it should work (so back to problem 2)
