Survey text entries are not registered correctly
A text entry to a survey question is not registered correctly if the same entry has already been registered to some other question. For example, if there is a survey on ID 1 with a text question and someone has answered "foobar" to that question and then another person takes survey on ID 2 and answers "foobar" to a text question in that survey no entry is registered. The problem can be replicated most easily but creating a survey with multiple text questions and answering for example "test" to all those questions. Only the first "text" is registered and the rest omitted. |

Surveys not showing the vote count nor average from a rating scale 1...10
No idea whether this is also happening in 12.x or earlier. I just noticed this in trunk, while reviewing the improvements to Surveys in order to update the documentation page ((doc:Tiki13)) I created a survey as admin, added 3 questions (one of them is a rating from 1 to 10 with radio buttons). I provided 2 answers as user admin, and I saw that no vote count nor average was shown from the rating scale 1...10 {img fileId="770" thumb="y" rel="box[g]"} |

I am often getting: [i18nwiki@alpha ~]$ cd www [i18nwiki@alpha www]$ svn up svn: Working copy 'temp/cache' is missing or not locked [i18nwiki@alpha www]$ This is caused by something that is destroying some svn system files (presumably trying to clean the cache) Workaround is to destroy temp and to do svn up |

Switch from WYSIWYG to normal (wiki) editor error
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} When switching from normal (wiki) editor to WYSIWYG editor everything works fine. But when switching back from WYSIWYG to normal (wiki) editor, this actions simply times out, and IE or Opera are timing out. This problem appears in 4.0 which was working fine in the 3.x version. |

switch lang in installer does nothing
Installer allows to set language for the tiki site admin in the first screen of tiki-install.php. This used to work for years. I tested in 20.x and 21.x and it doesn't change lang of the interface. Tested with Catalan and Spanish, in case it matters. No change, installer continues in step 2 in English. |

Switch lang module for anonymous yields blank page + critical error with registered
on 1.9.cvs See it in here: http://www.moviments.net/valldelcorb Try changing language as anonymous from default (catalan) to Spanish, for instance. a blank page is shown. If you do the same as registered, the interface is changed to Spanish, as expected, and as it happenened always with previous versions of Tiki. (That happened with empty wiki homepage). ----- However, I tried today (homepage had some articles through article plugin) as registered (user with admin rights), from this page: http://www.moviments.net/valldelcorb/tiki-index.php and I got: ^Warning: preg_replace() [function.preg-replace]: Unknown modifier 'd' in /home/httpd/tiki19/tiki-switch_lang.php on line 47 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/httpd/tiki19/tiki-switch_lang.php:47) in /home/httpd/tiki19/tiki-switch_lang.php on line 70 ^ plus a blank page. ??? |

Hello, I enabled the option "Detect browser language" in the internationalization module and added the switch_lang module. But if I'm not logged in and want the change the language using switch_lang it __always__ falls back to my default language. You can try it at http://series60-remote.sf.net I had the same problem on http://www.opensourcecms.com/cms/tiki/ |

Switching site language ignored in installer
Revisions 63507 and its backports 63508 and 63509 broke language selection at step 1 of the installer. Selecting a language other than English causes a JavaScript error. The only released version affected is Tiki 16.3. This bug does not prevent changing the site language, only doing so from the installer. |

Synchronize Forum and external Mailinglist (Mailman)
Synchronize a Tiki Forum with a (Mailman) Mailinglist a) Forum outbound email (Regression) In Tiki 11 it was observed that Tiki cannot send emails out from a forum post to a mailinglist. This problem might be produced by Zend/composer. This is a regression. It works in Tiki9.5 (not clear about Tiki10). More Info: https://dev.tiki.org/Regressions+in+11x https://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=47927 b) Forum inbound email (Error) In Tiki 9.5 it was observed that postings from a mailinglist are shown in Forum with wrong author sometimes. Users of Forum and Mailinglist are not necessarily identical. Some users are registered at forum and mailinglist, and they are recognized by Tiki via email address correctly. Every now and then (no clear pattern yet) an inbound email from mailinglist is registered in the forum with wrong username and wrong email, apparently random chosen by someone else who wrote earlier to the list and was listed in the forum with his post. In addition Tiki Forum breaks threading if the email topic is changed. This might be intentional and due to lack of internal handling of emails' Message-Id header. c) Tiki Forum header (Wishlist) Tiki recognizes whether an inbound email was sent by forum or not. This is done by a header. This header should be up to configuration, because it is not possible to connect two different Tiki forums with one mailinglist. d) Demo and Showcase Unfortunately it is not possible to construct a showcase easily, because the setup of Tiki plus Mailman is quite complex (spam protection would require an isolated setup which cannot spam real world) and the pattern seems to be dependent on race conditions. |

Syntax structures including ":" and color syntax doesn't work within a definition term (parser bug)
Syntax that should work inside a description term (the x in ";x:y") don't. This includes anything in a ':' in it even if it's nested within another syntax structure like a link or table. In a link, it's especially bad, since you can't use ~np~~np~~/np~ to fix it, e.g. you can't fix ~np~((a:b))~/np~. Also, ~np~~~color:x~~~/np~ doesn't work. ~pp~ !!!~np~;a:text~/np~ ;a:text works %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;~~red:a~~:text~/np~ ;~~red:a~~:text looks like ~np~;a:text~/np~ %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;((a)):text~/np~ ;((a)):text works %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;((a:b)):text~/np~ ;((a:b)):text looks like ~np~;a:((a:b|b)):text~/np~ %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;((a|b:c)):text~/np~ ;((a|b:c)):text looks like ~np~;b:((a|c)):text~/np~ %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;((a|~np~b:c~/np~~/np~~np~)):text~/np~ ;((a|~np~b:c~/np~)):text works %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;__a__:text~/np~ ;__a__:text works %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;||a||:text~/np~ ;||a||:text works %%%%%%%%%%%% !!!~np~;||a:b||:text~/np~ ;||a:b||:text this just looks strange ~/pp~ I looked in the parser code, and it's pretty obvious why these bugs occur. The parser code, to put it bluntly, sucks. It uses regexps for most parsing instead of a proper context-free parser, so it's bound to have these types of bugs. |

t.o calendar: warn the user about the time zone being used at time selection by the user
t.o calendar: warn the user about the time zone being used at time selection by the user I added an event at a calendar in Tiki.org community site, and selected the chosen time for the event (13h UTC). https://tiki.org/tiki-calendar_edit_item.php?viewcalitemId=142 There was no indication of which time zone was Tiki going to understand for my selection, so I chose the time in my time zone: 15h (UTC+2). Tiki stored that time as if it was at 15h UTC, and then display the time of the saved event to me as 17h (UTC+2). So Tiki was expecting the user to introduce the time in UTC, apparently, but there was no indication about that to the user. Some info should be shown. Maybe that will depend on the settings being set in the tiki site (there are a few combinations to test, I guess). So at least I'll leave the bug report here about it. I recall Jonny saying that there was some new jquery library that was aware of time zones for time and date pickers? :-) --- In addition, the time recorded for the item doesn't match the time the user selected in the edit form, or even shown when the user opens the item for edition again. This type of issue seems to have been solved recently (months) in tracker fields date and time (date picker, by developer kroky6), so it may probably just need porting similar fix to the calendar feature itself {sign user="xavi" datetime="2017-01-12T14:51:14+00:00"} |
