Searching for keyword "Site" on www.tw.o yields Cannot Display Page with IE7
When on www.tikiwiki.org, I execute a search for anything with "Site" in it. "Site5", or "Site 5" or "Site blahblah". Search returns, with Internet Explorer, __Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage__. I looked at the source and encoding is UTF-8, so at a loss. I tried several other keywords other than "Site" and they all returned proper searches. This is a weird one. |

Affected: v1.9.0, CVS as of Thu May 5 16:22:27 UTC 2005 When selecting secure login, user is properly directed to HTTPS server defined in configuration, however after logging in user is directed to HTTP server defined in configuration, but using URL prefix from HTTPS server. Example: HTTP server name: amix.failsure.net HTTP port: 80 HTTP URL prefix: / HTTPS server name: failsure.net HTTPS port: 443 HTTPS URL prefix: /amix/ Select secure login, redirects to -> https://failsure.net/amix/ Login successfully... Redirected to standard HTTP, bad address -> http://amix.failsure.net/amix/ Intended to be http://amix.failsure.net/ If this is not a bug, it is not clear to me how the above configuration section is intended to be used. Segfault attempting to run Import - in both Ubuntu and Fedora
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} The Mediawiki Importer fails with: [Sun Nov 28 22:17:33 2010] [error] ... PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /var/www/tiki/lib/pear/Text/Wiki/Parse/Mediawiki/Wikilink.php on line 263, referer: .../tiki/tiki-importer.php [Sun Nov 28 22:17:38 2010] [notice] child pid 13376 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) This is on Ubuntu Lucid with a 2.6.32-25-server kernel. It happens while the Importer is in the initial "Loading and validating the XML file" phase, and the Apache child instance running it of course just dies. Update: It happens ever after I comment out the lines in Wikilink.php that threw the error - that is, there's still a segfault. This is with Apache 2.2.14 and PHP 5.3.2. This may be the same bug as http://dev.tiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=2853&trackerId=5&show=view&reloff=1&cant=2&status=o&trackerId=5&sort_mode=f_41_desc&filterfield=26&filtervalue[26]=Importer - but that shows as fixed, so .... This may also be related to this preg_replace_callback() bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/369737 - although that's unresolved. That function is used in Table.php and Url.php in lib/pear/Text/Wiki/Parse/Mediawiki. Update 2: Installed a fresh Fedora 14, put Tiki on it, and it gets the same segfault, in the same place in each of the 2 different XML files I'm attempting this with. Now, in both cases these are 64-bit, in case that has anything to do with it (but who runs a 64-bit server today?). In each case these are relatively large XML files - but our requirement is to convert a fair-sized Mediawiki if we're to use Tiki at all. |

Semantic Alias creating dead links
Semantic links are creating dead links when a "-" is in the name and under some other unknown conditions. I suspect it may in part be a regression caused by the recent way links are named. You can see one example here: https://dev.tiki.org/Visual-Programming At the bottom of the page, the aliases are listed. One of them is "End-user Programming" which creates a link of https://dev.tiki.org/End-user-Programming. The issue is, that does not redirect to the Visual Programming page. It is a 404-not found page. There are also 2 examples at the bottom of this page: https://dev.tiki.org/Browser-Compatibility that behave in the same way. I also see alias is not working here as well: https://dev.tiki.org/Update. In this case, all of the alias links are dead, but there are no dashes used within the links. Perhaps a separate issue? |

Semantic link "alias" broken on 4.1 & still on 6.x in several sites, including doc.t.o
Semantic link "alias" broken on 4.1 for me (regression) See: http://gavarrespedia.org/tiki-index.php?page=Pendents it shows an error page, suggesting similar page, search box, and the option to create the page (as reg. user) However, the page name "Pendents" is defined as an alias of "pendent", as it can be seen here: http://gavarrespedia.org/tiki-index.php?page=pendent which has underneath (inside the "[[+] Fet" box): {CODE()} (alias(pendents)) | (alias(Pendents)) {CODE} So this looks broken to me (at least, with common settings as I have). --- Reproduced in doc.t.o with http://doc.tiki.org/PluginRR (which has an alias link from http://doc.tiki.org/PluginR ) Discussed (with more details) on irc: [http://irc.tiki.org/irclogger_log/tikiwiki?date=2011-02-09,Wed&sel=267#l263] --- UPDATED: Fixed in current branches, at least (9.x, 11.x, 12.x) |

sender_email can't be set as $profilerequest:sender_email$YourEmail@example.com$
This profile https://profiles.tiki.org/Bug_Tracker_15 makes an attempt to allow the user to set the sender_email if they haven't done so yet (which is usually the case when we are creating new show.t.o instances, or reproducing some scenario in localhost to debug some feature, etc.) I'm using the same type of syntax which seems to be working in other profiles: But this one in Bug_Tracker_15 profile seems not to work: {CODE()} sender_email: $profilerequest:sender_email$YourEmail@example.com$ {CODE} while these other ones, in [https://profiles.tiki.org/Easy+GeoBlog|Easy GeoBlog], for instance, work as expected: {CODE()} style: $profilerequest:style$gradiant.css$ sitetitle: $profilerequest:sitetitle$My Easy GeoBlog$ sitesubtitle: $profilerequest:sitesubtitle$My thoughts and musings$ browsertitle: $profilerequest:browsertitle$Easy GeoBlog$ {CODE} I tried if the issue was adding an "@" character in the working fields of Easy Geoblog, but that worked as expected also even if an email was written there. |

server restarted and file upload blocked on file gallery where parent has a single quote on its name
At this site: http://www.moviments.net/ilp/ We had a file gallery called "Actes d'Assemblees i reunions" (without the surrounding double quotation marks) http://moviments.net/ilp/tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=3 There was a child file gallery called: "Assemblea 080907" (without quotation marks) http://moviments.net/ilp/tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=9 When I tried to upload a file (xls, "estat comptes.xls"), the server restarted in the middle of the upload and Firefox showed a "connection reset while loading page", etc. I couldn't load other pages of this site or others on the same server for some seconds, but later on, server came up again. So I could load other pages of the same tiki site. Then I tried again doing the same, and same behavior after attempting to upload that file: server restarted, etc. After reloding file gallery, no file was uploaded, etc. Then I went to the parent file gallery, and deleted at least the single quotation mark from the name, leaving that name as: "Assemblees i reunions" Then the file could be uploaded with no problems at all on the child file gallery "Assemblea 080907" This is the file, in case you want to reproduce with the same file, just in case: http://moviments.net/ilp/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=20 |

session_lifetime in tiki_preferences table causes system error. This causes migration to Tiki 5 to fail.
Upgrading a site from 4.x to 5.0 appeared to be successful (i.e. no error messages are given) but the site opens only with an error page. The message on the page is "System error. An error occured while performing the request." I traced the problem to the presence of a record in the tiki_preferences database with name=session_lifetime and value=20. It appears that if the value is non-zero, the system error occurs. Deleting the record or setting the value to zero solve the problem. |

"new user registration" has problems (newest TIKIWIKI on newest PHP) - either bug or config aspect
"new user registration" has problems. Problemss stated for TIKIWIKI 1.9.8.3 tried on newest PHP versions 5.2x (+newest MySAL) - Fantastico install of 1.9.8.3 also concerned. - It is either a config error by admin, or a problem of latest stable TIKIWIKI (Oct. 2007) with neweset versions of PHP, or something similar. Various tests + details are described - please visit the links below. Hopeful to get opinions on this before going on with my tests. If it is not a software bug, then it would at least probably be an aspect about the ergnomics of instructions. When this problem will be settled and if found of general interest, I will perhaps add the experience to the TIKIWIK docs. I've just created a new account for a user. Having created the account, I'd then normally select the account and use the "spanner" icon to "add or remove from a group." Today that resulted in the error "No users were selected. Please select one or more users."
