Tablesorter: dropdowns in tsfilters and shown as text filters (most of them) when server=y

edit the page, and you will see that many of the filters where set as dropdowns, However, they are shown as text filters.

Tablesorter: filtering for an item doesn’t find it if not in the first pagination when server=y


It was going to be reproduced at this show instance but for some reason, I cannot reproduce the issue that we have seen in a development site for a client. :-/

Tablesorter: with server=n tspaginate is not taken into account (we did set max:2 and it keeps displaying all the 5 items) when js minification is enabled.

Disable minifcation cehckboxes in the control panels, and it worked for me as expected.

When I create a tabular from a tracker which has a field of type ''group selector'', I can't use it because this type of field does not seem to be implemented:

When creating a page, include quick tags in the Folksonomy Tags box. They show up in the Most popular tags module, but when clicked on in the cloud none of the tags entered on a Blog page can be found. Tags from gallery and wiki pages are found and listed, but nothing from any Blog page.

This is consistent across three Tikiwiki sites. Although they are all hosted on the same server.

Have tried it with Linux & Windows, Firefox, IE, Opera & W3M.

Take Username internally (even if Realname displayed in the To field for users) in the intratiki messaging feature

intratiki messaging displays Realname (when the pref. is selected to do so), but Tiki needs to somehow convert that string back into the username internally in Tiki, since the user sees the user's Realname in the "To" field, but Tiki expects usernames to know who to send the message to.

Update: Pending to fix: when you reply to a previous message, you still get the usernames added at the "To" field, instead of the realnames. Therefore, when replying, you get the message that no valid user was there to reply to, since Tiki, in current revisions, and with that configuration, expects the realnames in the "To" field.

Since we moved to SVN, in time for 2.0, this was "lost"

This causes that people that install TikiWiki via FTP, from zip file, --need to manually create this folder (useless annoyance)-- Actually, it was created by tiki-install.php but I see no reason not bundle this folder.

People that use sh setup.sh to install are OK because this script creates this directory (and others?)

Text area field width and height parameters are not applied correctly.
Width is never applied.
Height is not applied when wysiwyg is on.

When you have edit icons enabled for wiki pages and there is PluginInclude, the icon to edit the included page is in PNG format instead of the FontAwesome icon.

The Directory batch feature imports all documents except those with an accented character like 'à','è'.'é' or special caracter like Euro symbol (€).

When you run the image gallery with a lot of images in it with multiple columns, none of the images get scaled! They are displayed as it is

Had trouble turning Action buttons of in Bloglist.
Tested themes fivealivelite and lighty, the buttons didnt disappear.
Tried to reproduce the error in demo version on server didnt work.
Turned Standard Bootstrap theme on my server on. Option showIcons worked as it should.

on this page/version it seems to work either, so it seems solved for fivealife theme:

No big trouble just annoying, and took some time to figure out the reason.

I put it on Prio 2 (how important is spelling???)
In tiki-setup.php and other files
the word thresold is used to refer to threshold
this is obviously a spelling error and happens also in the same file for comments_thresh?old

apart from those two thresold only appears in some comments, all of which can be changed without affecting functions.

Recently upgraded from 1.9 to 4.3.

Thumbnailing works when individual images are uploaded into galleries.

However, when two or more images are uploaded at once thumbnails fail and the images appear as original size.

Recently had to downgrade from php 5.3 to an earlier version as the GD library with 5.3 was not thumbnailing at all.

I have yet redacted quite the same text three month ago, about 4.1, 4.2... Because i could never start these versions, try to find bugs... submit but no answers.

My original text has been lost because of the bugs of the bugs reports management (author not stored - corrected, no capability to sort the items by date, no capability to sort anyway and search) nevertheless, too much to do elsewhere...

__Lest's go to the problem, which is a major one :__

!!The fact :
If any fields which is stored into sessions->data contains an " ' ", it is impossible to restart TIKI (always automatically and by evidence crashes if TIKI tries to restore these session.

!!The reason :
The text is stored with is " ' " and included "simply" into the query which resets the prefs.
By evidence this simple quote " ' " creates a query error and a crash of tiki (often APACHE).
this " ' " is interpreted as the end of the query, and the remaining a non-sense.

!!!Example :
With 5.0 if you are just installing with an upgrade of database, into the session query you will find the third data_text-block

the " ' " of "doesn't" crashes the first run.

!!!The same happens when you have a header page with a title containing a simple quote " ' "

!!Solution :

I have just found a lonely solution :

* the first, simple : any sessions->data content must be pre-translated with doubled simple quotes (which is the SQL syntax).
* any read of sessions->data doubled simple quotes must be set back to a unique one.

This possible solution offers too the capability to find fields with quotes by any query, if the data sent into queries are pre-translated (if not it is a crash).

A back translation after reading is not need only in some cases (the prefs restoration for example), for a search query the results will come back with their simple quotes...

!!!Who acts ?
It is very simple.
There are not many place where the problem occurs;
But I I have lost so much time because of the bug of 4.x and now 5.0RC and 5.0 Stable that I could not make the work I had programmed to do.
In my opinion it should be better that people who have written the SQL requests, make the change.

If they are not ready, I can submit patches (tikisession particularly)

Hello,

I have reached the end of an installation of 5.0 with à database upgrade by 4.2 installer form a 3.3 site.

To reach this point after one month, I need to find and make the patches of bugs form which 3 on 5 are corrected into the current 5.x (SVN repository)

After I could obtain the home page, this appends :

1 - the "main admin" sends the message :

__INVALID DATABASE run installer__,

2- You run installer again, the installer says __"Database upgraded successfully"__

3- You run normally tikiwiki and then come back to point 1, eternally

If I join documents they can be the HTML page capture from Zotero but I don't think that they will be useful or the .zip of the database (600ko) for test.

I have surely no information to try to understand this issue.

When I try to execute some command I have quite not any command which can be run without an error :
- All displays are like UTF8 on a latin1 display (while Firefox say Page encode UTF8)
- Try to edit user pref : -> system error table ".tiki_trk_1" not found
- Try to display Wiki page or article content : the url called misses any module (*.php) tu run and no query "?" but only a part of the query content (like "http://mysite/<article_name>.

- Modify-edit page or article leads to an empty page

etc.
