At https://tiki.org/forum26 I see 2 search forms.
One at the top (look to me like the website general search)
One inside the forums "boundaries", above the forum title.

When I use the second Search form I redirected to the Tiki search page which doesn't allow me to search by forums, author, etc.
Basic tools a forum should have.

It should be possible to have dedicated tools (or at least how they look like) to search with Forums object fields.
We have everything needed in the unified index
parent_object_type
parent_object_id
lastpost_modification_date
object_typecontents
post_author
score
Etc...

I used https://tiki.org/forumthread78791-New-Wiki-pages-wont-take-the-Groups-default-Category and https://tiki.org/forumthread77665-What-is-the-Markdown-syntax-for-LaTeX-equations on Firefox.

It is about the first comment header and the last message elements.
Better separation between "section" is required (especially on mobile).

At https://doc.tiki.org/tiki-browse_freetags.php you can click on any tag and it will initiate the search (after it as been fixed with https://dev.tiki.org/item7924)

However the results are "hidden" from the user eyes down at the bottom of the page.
If the user doesn't catch the quick refresh of the page he will have the impression noting happened (no search) as it will see the same list of tags in front of his eyes. True on Desktop, super-true on mobile.

The results should be visible right away after a search is done for a better UX.

For over a year (or even longer?) I have seen many times that I got, when I edited a bug report, I got both (!) success and failure indicated ''__at the same time__''. Now this happened when I edited the "Illogical sorting of the Wishlist" report, see screenshot.

Something in the inner workings of trackers is wrong. How can it be, that a tracker got successfully updated and it's ID is missing in one and the same request? See screenshot...

It has been suggested this has a link with ShortURLs

"Fullscreen Edit" is a new cool feature of 2.x

Quicktags are kept, but Wiki & Plugins Help are missing so it makes editing less enjoyable.

"Edit Summary" is missing as well. Maybe it's intentional?

From kerrnel22: I can recreate this. This will eventually get fixed, but in the meantime, it is merely a nuisance. What you entered still got added to the database, you just have to go back and pull up open instances.

Testing something I checked https://next.tiki.org/tiki-syslog.php where I can see a failed to get user by cookie several time (every 5 minutes) for a user "1974" (seems to be me).

Uploading an animaged gif image file that shows a bug reproduced is not an easy task tin dev.t.o.
I had to do that because the record rtc feature is not usable yet, and I wanted to reproduce the issue visually. I did that in an animated gif. I edited the corresponding [item7795|bug report], and uploaded the gif file throught the toolbar icon to "Choose or upload images".
I got the image uploaded (to the default location, I didn't change it, expecting "happy path"), but the wiki syntax automatically inserted seems to not be adapted to displaying gif images.
I recall that any plugin img param that attempts to resize the image converts it to png (or Tiki used to do so years ago), so that I removed the param to make a zoombox, I just left the param to indicate the fileId. But nothing was displayed in the parsed textarea of the tracker item once saved.

Similarly, going to the view file (icon shown from the since last visit module) showed nothing, which might trigger the falsse sensation that the file upload failed.

Seems it is not possible to edit a plugin from an included page directly.
The edit plugin button should be hidden as a quick workaround.
