Some weirdness surrounding "user report preferences".

Using a map marker (clicking somewhere on the map) doesn't seem to work as previously (no marker or any sign it was saved).

Using "Search" display the following error:

Using "To my location" is working (check in a different browser) but it is unclear for the user point of view something was saved (no marker or any success message)

We have a way of synchronizing the RealName with fields in the ''user tracker''.

It would make a lot of sense to have a similar option for synchronizing the users avatars with a ''file type field'' in the ''user tracker''.

Currently, one can ask for an image of the user at registration or later in the user tracker but if the user's avatar needs to be provided by the user himself/herself.
That's cumbersome and not intuitive.

Example real life use case: The user tracker is used as a company directory, filled by the users' ''official'' photos. Lacking user avatars or asking the users to update their avatar makes no sense since all the work was done already.

I had posted this to the community, but did get no response so far, so I file it as a bug.

I have activated MyTiki and avatars. In order that everyone sees everyones avatar, I set (as admin) user info to public on all registered users.

First: Changing a users avatar with the switch users feature for admins changes the avatar of the admin...

Second: The preference user info = public is lost. I cannot see any regularity. I always click Save changes, and there is no error message. Also, all settings from MyTiki get lost. I activated all MyTiki checkboxes for all users, and they keep vanishing. It does not seem to be a caching issue.

When I set everything the way I want it and click Save Changes, the following information is immediately forgotten (and no errror message!):
- Country (but stragely location is not lost...)
- User information public reverts to private
- Mouse over user information shows info window (if user permits)
- All MyTiki settings

All other preferences are stored without error. I guess that some logic or permissions rule dictates that users cannot change some preferences.

If that is the case, these presets should be admin configurable somewhere and I did not find them? Anyhow, if users are not permitted to change some preferences, then users should not be presented a GUI to change them, or should get an error message that this preference is preset for them.

I set site theme to Business, and set Admin theme to jqui.

A registered user found the tiki-user_information.php page used jqui theme but other pages were Business. My Admin account had the same result.

I think the expected result shall be:
Admin user shall use admin theme in all pages;
Regular users shall use theme in all pages.

Error is "fixed" by making the following additions to the array __deprecated_tr__ in file __lib/tikidate.php__ :

Not sure how universal the problem with other installations is (maybe I still have some environment setting issues?). On two newly upgraded (to 17.1.7) installations on the same shared hosting site. uname-a yields: Linux <host> 3.10.0-714.10.2.lve1.4.79.el6h.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jan 4 14:26:00 EST 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux. Can supply tiki-check.php result also (which barfed until i also grabbed a new lib/core/BOMChecker/scanner.php from the trunk :). Basically CentOS release 6.9, PHP release 5.6.30. Can replicate with a fresh (not upgraded) install on the same server. Some other PHP errors / blank pages fixed by refining the PHP5.6 settings or .htaccess file and other settings (SEF URL is turned on).

Put importance lower as not sure how many installation environments will mimic mine (versus what you run tiki.org on). Your demo's for 17.x and 15.x have not been working for a week so cannot replicate there.

Logged as admin you can modify any user "User Preferences", for exemple change the country.
The URL look like this: tiki-user_preferences.php?userId=15

On save the page will reload to tiki-user_preferences.php and the admin user will see __its__ user preferences and not the one he was modifying.

When you hover a user name the user avatar is always missing now

Enabling the prefrence 'WikiLingo' causes a fatal error on tiki-index.php

There is no wikilingo vendors package.

I was trying to merge some of the uses of zeroClipboard while I came across this. Its one of the features that uses zeroClipboard linked (currently) to our lib folder.

This is an experimental feature that causes Tiki to Crash. There is also very little documentation on how to use it in tiki.
