t.o 11.x: left column overlapping central column and flip left column is unclickable with Chromium
tiki.org (11.x): many pages shows as anonymous (or registered) with left column overlapping central column. And the icon to flip left column is unclickable. See screenshot (from http://tiki.org/Translation+Server ).

This was visited with Chromium (Versió 28.0.1500.71 Ubuntu 13.04).
Using firefox everything is displayed properly

* Chromium is no longer webkit. It is now Blink http://techcrunch.com/2013/04/03/google-forks-webkit-and-launches-blink-its-own-rendering-engine-that-will-soon-power-chrome-and-chromeos/
* Also tried to reproduce using http://browsershots.org/ I ran all browsers and couldn't find a screenshot that seemed broken

* Other user reports in irc.t.o a similar issue in t.o with Firefox browser:

t.o calendar: warn the user about the time zone being used at time selection by the user
t.o calendar: warn the user about the time zone being used at time selection by the user

I added an event at a calendar in Tiki.org community site, and selected the chosen time for the event (13h UTC).
https://tiki.org/tiki-calendar_edit_item.php?viewcalitemId=142

There was no indication of which time zone was Tiki going to understand for my selection, so I chose the time in my time zone: 15h (UTC+2). Tiki stored that time as if it was at 15h UTC, and then display the time of the saved event to me as 17h (UTC+2).

So Tiki was expecting the user to introduce the time in UTC, apparently, but there was no indication about that to the user. Some info should be shown. Maybe that will depend on the settings being set in the tiki site (there are a few combinations to test, I guess). So at least I'll leave the bug report here about it.

I recall Jonny saying that there was some new jquery library that was aware of time zones for time and date pickers? :-)
---
In addition, the time recorded for the item doesn't match the time the user selected in the edit form, or even shown when the user opens the item for edition again. This type of issue seems to have been solved recently (months) in tracker fields date and time (date picker, by developer kroky6), so it may probably just need porting similar fix to the calendar feature itself {sign user="xavi" datetime="2017-01-12T14:51:14+00:00"}

t.o: page alias feature not working because some duplication exists (not prevented at edition time and feedback gone too quickly)
t.o: page alias feature not working because some duplication exists (not prevented at edition time and feedback gone too quickly)

Reproduced here:
https://tiki.org/Community+Servers

alias added at the bottom was:
{CODE(colors="tiki")}
(alias(Servers))
{CODE}

When saving the page, some remarksbox is shown for less than a second reporting some duplication of the alias link, and the page is saved removing that remarksbox with the info. And I can't find where else in the t.o site that alias name is written.

Searching for "alias(Server" didn't bring the other page but dozens of pages.

In Tiki12, if I recall properly, if an alias link existed, you were not allowed to save your page, and you were told where that alias name was used already, so that you could at least go there and the duplication by hand before saving your page.

tab import/export trackers missing on a blank new Tiki
I instaled a tiki site using tiki 3 svn. Installed collaborative community profile (althought it might not affet the bug). Just in case, this implies: strasa.css

When the user goes to admin trackers i order to import a tracker from another tiki site, there is not tab for "import export" (at tiki-admin_trackers.php). However, the interface is under the tab "Duplicate tracker".

Later on, when you have trackers, you see the tab, but not at the beginning.

Tablesorter filter is conflicting with forums list and the subforums list
On a Tiki forum when it is enable Tablesorter is added to the table that list the forum to allow filtering and sorting. Work fine if you have only Forums.
When you use subforum discussions the table sorter is interfering as it is working on the subform list instead of continuing to filter/sort the discussion below.

The tablesorter filter row is placed above the subforums list instead of the discussion list it should be moved below to be applied on the discussions.

Issue in tabular and pluginList when value if it equal "0" and a field is empty
We have an issue with Tabular when a value of a field = "0"
And then how it is seen using : tiki-pluginlist_experiment.php

To reproduce.
I have a CSV with the following:
ID,NUMBER
111,1
112,1
113,0
114,0
115,0
116,5
117,4

Tabular import will create/update trackerItems as follow.

|| ID | NUMBER
111 | 1
112 | 1
113 |
114 |
115 |
116 | 5
117 | 4 ||

Which is wrong, empty is empty and 0 is 0. ;-)

Then when using the tiki-pluginlist_experiment.php here what I got.
Where they were a value for the field NUMBER I see:
tracker_field_trackerNUMBER => "1"
tracker_field_trackerNUMBER => "Vendu"

Where they were a 0 => that became an empty value the field is not displayed at all...

Tags from blogs can't be searched
When creating a page, include quick tags in the Folksonomy Tags box. They show up in the Most popular tags module, but when clicked on in the cloud none of the tags entered on a Blog page can be found. Tags from gallery and wiki pages are found and listed, but nothing from any Blog page.

This is consistent across three Tikiwiki sites. Although they are all hosted on the same server.

Have tried it with Linux & Windows, Firefox, IE, Opera & W3M.

Tiki version: 3.1
PHP Version: 5.2.9
Apache version: 2.2.13 (Unix)
MySQL version: 4.1.22-standard

It is possible to enter tags made from more than one word by entering them between "". Since 3.0, the system seems to still recognize those tags (they are rendered correctly in the "Most popular tags" module, but clicking on such a tag comes up with "0 results found". The same applies for the Folksonomy module, which shows correctly, but comes up with 0 results for such tags. It does not matter if the tagged object is a blog post or a wiki entry.

templates/mail/moderate_validation_mail.tpl could use more info
The "Tiki User Registration Request" email that is sent to admins when a new user registers may not contain enough info for the admin to make a decision as to whether or not to approve the registration. The only link in that email automatically validates the user without any second chance (if the admin thought that after following that link he would be given a chance to review the new user info before validating the unknown user, he will be mistaken).

templates/mail/moderate_validation_mail.tpl should be improved to include any user tracker info that the new user has submitted, or provide a link to view any such user info.

Tesseract OCR - uncaught / not found fatal error
I am currently testing a __Tiki 24 trunk as a local office software__ on my work laptop.
The Tiki is still in the process of configuration, setup and testing.

I use a Mint/Ubuntu 18 Linux. I use a standart Apache2 / Mysql/PHP (7.4/8.0) installation, each part installed with the command line (not a prepacked Xampp/Lampp).
Side note to PHP version:
I could not install Tiki with PHP 8.0 (WSOD issue) and did install it then with PHP 7.4 running
Later when I installed a number of Packages, Tiki requested PHP 8.0 and it stopped working with PHP 7.4 (WSOD). Thus this Tiki 24-trunk is currently running on PHP 8.0

''I have also a number of file permission errors and some issue with a search index error message, which I will report later on in the forums or with another bug report.''

Tiki is installed __via SVN__ and runs in __/var/www/html/tiki__ .

One of several issues with my Tiki trunk installation is, that instantly after installing __Tesseract OCR in Tiki via Packages__, I get the following type of error messages:

{CODE()}
Fatal error: Uncaught thiagoalessio\TesseractOCR\TesseractNotFoundException: Error! The command "sh: 1: where: not found" was not found. Make sure you have Tesseract OCR installed on your system: https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract The current $PATH is /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/snap/bin in /var/www/html/tiki/vendor/thiagoalessio/tesseract_ocr/src/FriendlyErrors.php:40 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/html/tiki/vendor/thiagoalessio/tesseract_ocr/src/TesseractOCR.php(85): thiagoalessio\TesseractOCR\FriendlyErrors::checkTesseractPresence() #1 /var/www/html/tiki/lib/ocrlib.php(278): thiagoalessio\TesseractOCR\TesseractOCR->executable() #2 /var/www/html/tiki/lib/ocrlib.php(208): ocrLib->newTesseract() #3 /var/www/html/tiki/tiki-check.php(1995): ocrLib->getTesseractLangs() #4 {main} thrown in /var/www/html/tiki/vendor/thiagoalessio/tesseract_ocr/src/FriendlyErrors.php on line 40

I have definitely Tesseract installed on my laptop, but I do not (yet) know the installation path:

{CODE()}

tesseract --list-langs
tesseract imagename outputbase [options...] [configfile...]

OCR options:

Single options:
--help Show this help message.
--help-extra Show extra help for advanced users.
--version Show version information.
--list-langs List available languages for tesseract engine.

Test if the db upgrade script has been run and put a note in tiki-admin.php
This would avoid this type of issue:
http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?topics_offset=1&forumId=6&comments_parentId=21274

Maybe at each release, we could add one test of the DB to see if the most recent sql additions were done.

phplist does this well. Once click and your DB is in the right format.

Testing if GD or Imagick works, via Tiki
tiki-admin.php?page=gal tells me if GD or Imagick is installed. Nice.

But sometimes, it's installed, but it doesn't work as it should. To rule out that the problem is with Tiki, here is an example of a simple php to test GD in real life. It would be nice to add to tiki-admin.php?page=gal

{img src=images/code.png}%%% {CODE()}
<?php
header("Content-type: image/png");
$im = @imagecreate(110, 20)
or die("Cannot Initialize new GD image stream");
$background_color = imagecolorallocate($im, 0, 0, 0);
$text_color = imagecolorallocate($im, 233, 14, 91);
imagestring($im, 1, 5, 5, "A Simple Text String", $text_color);
imagepng($im);
imagedestroy($im);
?>

Text coloring in links
__Tikiwiki__ V6.1
__Firefox:__ 3.6.13

Using the "Colored Text" specifier in a Wiki link specifier like this:

~np~((Second Deletion List|~~red:__Unix Shared ID Deletion 2__~~))~/np~

results in the ~np~<SPAN>~/np~ tag being revealed instead of presenting text colored as specified. While not a critical item, we have just upgraded a site that has smattering of these throughout. It did work at one time obviously or they wouldn't be there now.

The link does still work and is not effected.

Text for translation buried so deep it's unfindable
I have spent over an hour trying to find out why on earth I was unable to translate the "Control Panel" from the menu. Only after debugging (!) the HTML output I came across a hint that finally led me to the culprit: "Control Panel" isn't what is passed into tra() at all. And the reason is in /installer/schema/20141125_menu_control_panels_tiki.sql, which I quote in full:
{CODE(Colors="Tiki")}
# xavidp. Option ' Control Panels' is set with a space in purpose, in order to have it shown in the first position under "Settings"
update tiki_menu_options set name=' Control Panels' where name=' Panels';
update tiki_menu_options set name='Settings' where name='Configuration';
{CODE}

There is a nonprinting character, a space (0x20) in front of "Control Panel". And you cannot find this by grepping Tiki's source for tra(), tr() and tr in curly braces at all, __because it is written nowhere!__

Now that I found that I can include it in my translation, and that works. BUT it won't be found by my automated extract tools, that by now can deal with over a dozen corner cases, will find "hidden" Javascript by both heredoc and direct string definition, crawls through all templates etc. pp. et. al. But I don't have a clue how "bombs" like THAT can be found (automated).

And I doubt that Tiki's built-in mechanisms find that! So this won't be translated into any target language at all.

How can this be identified and extracted?

Thanks for any ideas

Textarea hidden when edit form opened (codemirror on, in dev.t.o)
The text area is shown sometimes as hidden, when I open the page:
https://dev.tiki.org/tiki-editpage.php?page=Regressions+in+11x

(as user xavi, with admin rights).

Each time I open it again in a another browser program, then the page loads fine.
Codemirror is on in dev.t.o, but with highlighter mode set to "off but switchable".

This happens to me in either firefox or chromium, in several different computers (all of them with gnu/linux, in case this matters)
