From my point of view;
* "Preview" and "Copy to a new event" seems the prevalent actions (they are not) and they look alike
* The "Save" action (the prevalent action) is kind of dimmed (text/bg contrast doesn't help) and between the 2 action above)
* The "Delete event" look also like a prevalent action and lost its danger attributes (all buttons look redish/orangish)
* The "Export Event as Ical" is the same colors as the save button.

Added to this, some terms in buttons are Capitalized some are not.

There are a lot of different PIM applications using the iCal format, that Tiki can export.

As example I showed a usecase, where s.b. needed a synchronisation between Tiki and Google calendars, to make Tiki generated events visible in his Google Calendar, to ease the effort of sheduling between Tiki generated events and his personal google events.

I suggest a project for Calendar Syncronisation.

I tried andreas09 theme on themes.tikiwiki.org. When viewing the calendar, the menues the 2nd level is displayed behind the calendar. This applies to other themes as well - e.g. FMSC.

Calendar has been great for a while now as an event calendar. But what about for appointments?

For this use, notifications would be sweet. I would like to be able to configure an email reminder before an event (+ a pop-up if user is logged in.)

Time of email reminder should be configurable per event. Sometimes, I want a reminder 15 minutes before. Sometimes, I want 3 days. I could configure to send an email (or SMS) to my phone.

I guess we'd need a cron job for this to work efficiently.

I've been trying to add [https://doc.tiki.org/PluginList-Sublist] to the [https://doc.tiki.org/tiki-edit_structure.php?page_ref_id=4313|HomePage Plugins (Home)] structure but can't seem to do it - i've tried dragging (which used to work), adding via the input at the top and adding via the "Add page" button on [https://doc.tiki.org/PluginList] - none of which seem to work any more (in 30.x)

I tried to add my name to the schedule created with plugin convene in ((Tiki11)) and clicking at the "Add user" button (or Add date) did nothing when I was visiting the page with mobile interface. Same with the button to edit choices.

Same issue with Chrome or Firefox on Android.

When I try to delete a forum post at tiki.org, the modal header (not body) appears to confirm the delete action, but then disappears, so the delete confirmation action isn't possible, so the post isn't deleted.

At my localhost branch 20, this problem doesn't exist, so it's either a file version difference (REV 70641 at tiki.org compered to REV 70742 at my localhost) or some environment difference at tiki.org.

Hi:
For some reason I can't get login popup to *.t.o sites from android smartphone.
* t.o/forums: I can't see the "Log in" part on the top horizontal bar of the site, that I see using a desktop computer.
* dev.t.o: I can see indeed the "Log in" part on the top horizontal bar of the site, but clicking on it does nothing (apparently) for me.
* dev.t.o: clicking on the icon to display the contents of the top horizontal bar of the site does nothing for me.

:-/

We need improvements to that *.t.o site-bootstrapification maybe?

can't upload an image to a file gallery in doc.t.o with elfinder (default UI) since 16.x

To reproduce:
#I'm logged in as user "xavi" (with no admin perms, I mean)

#place the cursor somewhere in the text.
#Click at the button from the toolbar to "Choose or upload images"
#The elFinder UI popup is shown with no contents, and I?m not able to click anywhere (browser non.-responsive), while I can't only get access to use the browser again when the wiki pedit page is automatically refreshed with the elFinder automatically disappearing.
#Reproduced also after clearing my Browser cache, and Tiki caches, with Chromium and Firefox.

It refresh the page and I lost my work.
I switch to Chrome and it worked.

I edited several items in the tracker 24.
But I couldn’t save edit on this item : https://tiki.org/item10362 (They should be some restriction to view this tracker as it is not public)

At tiki-admin_notifications.php if I select "User" for destination I got an error that the selected user doesn’t have an email. Which is wrong.

If you try to filter the bugs with the word search in the summary, it finds every bug and doesn't narrow it down to the bugs containing the word search as expected.

Cannot upload images to file galleries on tiki.org anymore?

Wanted to upload simple little png screenshot but got:

Tried both the elFinder UI
and https://tiki.org/tiki-upload_file.php too

Under the uploaded preview thumbnail there appears also this message:
File upload failed: Forbidden

Ah, it seems only when I rename the screenshot file to something __really really short__ it works then:
__renamed Screenshot_2018-07-12 Roundtable Meeting 2018 07.png to Screenshot_2018-07-12.png__

The name should not be limited to such a low number of characters, should it? If yes, then it should state clearly before uploading that the file name has a limit to not confuse users...

In trackers, if you find a tracker item following a search, you have some parameters in the URL for item 6 of 70. The canonical format should be just the tracker item.

In blogs,
tiki-send_blog_post.php?postId=xyz
and
tiki-print_blog_post.php?postId=6079
should be:
tiki-view_blog_post.php?postId=xyz

I just reviewed an email I received from a user watch at dev.tiki.org. We comply with (maybe) #1. 2-5 we do not comply on.

A lot hinges on if the emails we send out are considered "Commercial Electronic Messages" but we don't appear to fall in the exception list, so I'm guessing that means almost all our messages are considered CES, including watches.

There is implied and also explicit consent. It looks like most of our emails are explicit concent emails, so that makes things easier. However if no specific action was taken to request an email, it falls in "implied consent" and there is a 2-year limitation on this clause. That would be a lot of work to program, so I suggest that we place a line in our Terms and Conditions that states that we may send occasional emails, and require them to agree to these upon registration. This would seem to cover our basis in making a strong case for explicit consent. The onus is upon us to prove that explicit consent has been granted. The empty toggle box concent is mentioned as "acceptable" under these regulations.

Now that we have explicit consent (and can prove it) we need to comply with the required information in an email. For Tiki already has the name and domain name, but perhaps we need a field for the business address in the preferences somewhere.

We also need an "easy unsubscribe mechanism" so if someone creates a "user watch" we need to include a link to an unsubscribe page. Or a page that unsubscribes them. I'm sure we already have this within tiki, we just need to generate the link and include it in user watches, and other emails.

It would also be nice if we had some generic compliance built into Tiki. So the solution taken is not specific to *.tiki.org and everyone else needs to come up with there own solution. More and more legislation is playing a larger role in how business on the net is conducted.

I would love to see a generic feature in Tiki called something like Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policy. Where terms, conditions and privacy policy can be (almost) auto generated based on selected options. This then could be integrated into the user registration form as part of the standard process.

On doc.tikiwiki.org, I renamed pluginBacklinks to PluginBacklinks and the backlinks are gone.

Since wiki page names should avoid special characters, we'll need to think about maybe using character substitutions in page names (a instead of à, _ instead of ') and use the description field for the exact format.
