I complained here and there about losing editing and I think now I’ve narrowed it a bit... At least for the forum.

On Safari, Mac freshly logged from with in the forum (no perspectives change) my first post of the day (new session ?) is never saved properly. The saving wheel is displayed but the page is refreshed without my post.

Once this done I can save "normally" my post.

TEsting plugin list and plugin pivottable in trunk at nextdev.t.o, I 've just seen these errors in pages that were using plugin list, or plugin pivottable, such as:

Maybe it's just that the index is not run (or not finished successfully, or some related issue?)
Just in case, I drop this report.

There is no confirmation step on the delete action on -+tiki-user_watches.php#contentuser_watches-2+- as there is on other places in Tiki.

On a fresh Tiki19 rev 68300 (after installing the profile "groupmail") I fill the field to register a new user and click on the register button.

Page is refreshed (data still in the fields) but I’m not redirected to the success page. The user is created.

When I check the "Log In" control panel it seems :
__User tracker IDs to sync prefs from__
and
__Tracker field IDs to sync the "real name" pref from__
don’t contain the right information (blank).
Same for the information needed in the registered group.

I corrected in my demo but the profile must be corrected.
Not sure how.

If the WYSIWYG editor is not enabled, there are no paragraph breaks displayed in the entered text. Further, if you enable the WYSIWYG, future blog entries are fine but you cannot fix the text you entered before.

The following (without a space between braces) does not work anymore:

Instead the Argument Variable which is inside __np__ gets parsed as current user login name.

When a new user is created through the "register" feature, they are redirected to the same registration page upon success, with no message saying "success" of any kind.

I would recommend that after they have registered, they will not likely want to register a second account, so landing on the same page is not optimal. I would also expect to see something that says the user is created, and perhaps say if an email needs to be confirmed or not.

It is not possible anymore to set the plugin module on a wiki page using plugin help.
As seen on video it is not possible to select a module and even trying the first (default) one the code is not pasted in the text area.

Update: The sorting is also broken (it used to sort date by time). The time insertion is very capricious mostly not working with the slider and only possible editing manually after several attempts. See: https://tiki.org/Roundtable-Meeting-2019-01

Update (20/01/18): The sliders are working but misplaced.

Tracker field numeric 0 value is interpreted by the plugin list as No value for 'tracker_field_xxx'

In a tracker I have a numeric field that contain the value 0 and it display ok in the tracker.

I set a plugin List the field and it is returned like the field is empty.


Retested today on Tiki19:

On Tiki if I disable - can view page/pages (tiki_p_view) anon can’t see the page and therefor see an error they don’t have permissions to see. (this is ok with 18.x and previous version)

On the control panel, General, Navigation, Redirects there is an option :

I remember I could set a wiki page name or a wiki page url.

Today’s users will have a really hard time to find how to use it with their Tiki.
Admin should be able to set up the page url the way it is displayed today in the url bar.

There is broken link from that icon leading to http://doc.tiki.org/Using%20Wiki%20Pages%23List_Pages which says "Error: Page not found".

Instead it should link to http://doc.tiki.org/Using%20Wiki%20Pages#Listing_Pages

It worked in 12.9 or so but since I upgraded the site to the latest 12.x LTS it stopped working. Tested in 19.x too where it does not work anymore either. Will try to make 18.x instance...

This should work and open the link in Colorbox according to the [https://doc.tiki.org/Wiki-Syntax-Links#Opening_links_in_semitransparent_popup_colorbox_|documentation]:

In safari, when placing a pin on a map, the pin appears in a diffrent location from where the pin is placed.

Steps to reproduce.

Add a location field to a tracker
List trackers -> Create
Zoom a little on the map so you can see the pin location difference.
Drop a pin on the map.

In 12.x LTS when -+~np~…page...~/np~+- syntax is enabled and used in a wiki page __where collapsible sections are present__ ( -+~np~!!-Foo Bar~/np~+- syntax) it breaks the column layout of the site badly.

Steps to reproduce:
#go to tiki-admin_modules.php?edit_assign=1&cookietab=2 and assign module to the left column
#go to tiki-admin.php?page=wiki and enable Wiki Pagination under the Features tab (-+wiki_pagination+-)
#edit a wiki page and add some collapsible sections (using the collapsible heading syntax) separated by -+~np~…page...~/np~+-
#go to 2nd or 3rd page (after second collapsible section it seems to start break) and see the left column modules wrap down under the main content of wiki page

There are case admin / webmaster / editor of a website need to communicate to all its users or group no matter what preferences they set for communication.

That was the idea that lied under the "Broadcasting" feature.
Actually by default users are not accepting messages and this is simply killing this feature. While there are questions about this default setting (should it be enable or disable by default) one thing is sure when you want to contact ALL you need to be able to contact ALL with regards of other preferences.

As this is a sensible setting (we don’t want people having access to spam) it would make sense to have a permission for it so Admins decide if and who has the ability to force a message to reach everyone (internal Tiki).

A check box with a warning (are you sure you want to...) added to the permission is what we need.

Pivottable allows to use activitystream as source data.

This offers the field modification date (day)
Pivottable usually wants to aggregate data for charts or tables to be meaningful, and that requires the aggregation of single data points overt common time frames: weeks, months, etc

It would be very useful if there was some way to let the user display activity stream data over weeks, months, etc.

With tracker data, you can do a workaround with a mathematical calculation field and using the Calculation syntax to get the week or month from a date field, etc. But with activity stream, I don't get how to achieve that.

This is going to be very useful for Tiki site admins to find insights on how their users are makeing use of their tiki sites over time.

Many of the icons seem to be missing from Plugin Icons and they are not showing on Tiki 19.0

Once a tracker field is set as title, it turns to be a link to the tracker item.

In certain (but several) condition when using a plugin List, ListExecute or the plugin Map this field(link) will be inserted into another link and then the display will be broken and it will show code instead of item link. (a link within a link is bad)
Check the instance.

First problem: There is nothing that can tells you from where come the issue and only after several experience and Jonny’s help we found out what it was. Anyone else (and new comers) won't have any idea why the display is broken.

Second problem: __It is a pain !__

Workaround are messy; you have to duplicate fields (Name and Title), title has to be set to a different field (like Id) and start confusion or worst, previous setting that were ok turn to be broken.

Would it be possible to have some kind of strip there ?
(if the value is already a link, strip <a ...). There is a smarty function for that "Strip" couldn't it be easily set ?
