We add it to the category that we intended it to belong to:

when listing a gallery via tiki-list_file_gallery.php?page=fgal&galleryId=<GALLERYID> (with mode set to Browse), the filter section is always opened, even without filters being set, eating a lot of space.

probably comes from the other submitted but where uselessly empty filter parameters are added to the url, like find=&type=&types=&topic=&lang=&langOrphan=&exact_match=&categId=&find_from_Month=&find_from_Day=&find_from_Year=&find_to_Month=&find_to_Day=&find_to_Year=

when you list a gallery, tiki automatically adds all those useless parameters find=&type=&types=&topic=&lang=&langOrphan=&exact_match=&categId=&find_from_Month=&find_from_Day=&find_from_Year=&find_to_Month=&find_to_Day=&find_to_Year=, probably that's why u1 (see below) happens.

the wrench near the gallery name shows "<gallery name> - settings" but leads you to the global admin fgal page, same for the (?) button... doesnt lead to "<gallery name> - help" but to file gallery help on doc.tw.o.

when configuring a gallery, it says at the bottom: You can access the file gallery using the following URL: https://your.domain.here/file10?galleryId=10 ... sure? Shouldn't it be just /file10 OR /tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=10 ?

if you go into "edit properties" of an image, it doesn't drop you back into the gallery afterwards where you have been before, so HERE the offset needs to be remembered but gets lost. best would be if you would just click the image, overlay for editing appears, and on save it would just close again.

when you have a gallery A opened at offset 270, and switch to gallery B, that other gallery is opened at offset 270 too. which shows NO entries when your gallery B has less than 270 entries.

The File Gallery Template feature is still in Tiki, and it seems nobody really knows what it was used for, if you will here is something I wrote a couple years ago on this, at https://tiki.org/forumthread59522
If this is supposed to work somewhere, it sure would be great to have it working if the intentions were to build upload templates from it.

Environment:
Server: A virtual machine with Ubuntu 16.04LTS (fully up to date) and Tiki15.1LTS. The database for tiki comes from an tiki instance running 9.9LTS.
Files are stored in the database.
Host:
A Mac with 10.10.5, browser is a current Chrome and Firefox. The results are the same with both browsers.

What I did:

browse a gallery, hover over wrench under image and click "Page View" on the image menu... now the top of the page still says the gallery name, but if you click it, it does an "download image". Either the image name should be shown there, or the link lead to the gallery it names.

file upload (at least the drag'n'drop one) doesn't seem to respect "Allow the same file to be uploaded more than once".

Currently, External feeds create articles with very little intervention possible. A [https://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?topics_offset=9&comments_parentId=59703&savenotepad=59733|workaround] has been suggested which involves editing
{CODE()}lib/rss/rsslib.php{CODE}

Filtering of the External feed would provide the benefit of reducing or eliminating unwanted articles such as politics from a Financial news source that occasionally goes off the rails.

Find an easy way to help tiki users convert their slideshows made with tiki slideshow feature into a pdf of slides (for backup and life-saver when internet issues at presentation time)

Every now and then, we prepare presentations with the nice Tiki ((doc:Slideshow)) feature (jquery.s5)
But the day of the presentation, some issues might happen: internet connectivity issues, or others, like in the demo scheduled for the Tiki Roundtable Meeting for April 2015 from teh tekadvocates, etc.

The dompdf lib seemed to help with that, but it was never brought to a production level. See:

Some workaround is to make the slideshow by hand through screenshots of all slides, one by one, and then, convert them all into a pdf with external tools, such as gscan2pdf or similar.

At https://tiki.org/Consultants the field type Files, Display Mode = image show ^File not found.^ instead of the format parameter default content (default="" in this case).

I just posted a reply at the tiki.org forums and the post time line reads "Posted by ... less than a minute from now". This should be "...less than a minute ago", the same as the cases that are more than one minute in the past. "From now" refers to future time.

I didn't test to see if this happens other places such as blog posts and article publishing, but seems like it might.

Full Calendar displays 12pm insteat of 12am if day view is used - annoying and confusing small bug.

Would we nice if we pushed a little bit in Group Tracker usability.

At the moment I see it as nothing different as a tracker itself. When there is a group tracker set in a group, when you join the group, nothing happens.

My suggestion is to make it to when you ask to join a group, you first are asked to fill in the group tracker, and than you join the group. To make it an obrigatory step in joining a group. (At the moment you can join the group and than fill the tracker, but that allow someone to join and not fill in the tracker) I was thinking of also make use of the Plugin Tracker Item Field, to check if the user have already filled in the tracker, so it can join the group.But that also allow a user to fill the tracker and not join the group. Anyway, I think there might be a way to bind these two things.

A little more would be to make an approval workflow to the admin see the tracker item of the applicant to the group, and inside it approve or not the user in the group. To use it as an application form.

When you enable the tracker option to "Create a group for each item", the group created will have no name associated to it, making it impossible to be used.

When you try to edit it, the system open up to create a new group.
When you try to create a second item, no group will be created (because there is already a nameless group)
The remove funcion works.
When you try to modify its permissions, you go to global permissions.
When you open the item list in the admin panel, there will be the fieldId item that created it, in the groups name.

I guess to fix it we should have to take a look in the naming of the created group, in my opinion that is what is causing this issue. Will take a look, but can`t promise I`ll find it =P

Some icons are hard-coded through javascript files. One example from lib/jquery_tiki/tiki-trackers.js line 139:

This line hard codes a glyphicon icon regardless of the iconset set by the admin. In php files this can be fixed by loading the smarty function icon but haven't been able to fix here (tried using ajax services).

I have a problem with the hits (reads) counter of forum and blog posts with tikiwiki 15.3 after an upgrade of my debian host from wheezy to jessie

the counter stays at "0"

I was using tikiwiki 12.3 before the OS upgrade

I first used tkiwiki 12.3 on the debian jessie and then upgraded to 15.2 and now 15.3 (tried 15.4 but encounter a LDAP problem ...)

If wiki page x has a description (with preference feature_wiki_description) which contains a hotword, internal links ("wiki links" using the double parentheses syntax) to that page are broken. A ~np~((x|label))~/np~ link to page x will display...

HTML meant to display literally which figures inside the body of a call to the QUOTE plugin is quietly ignored, as if it had been stripped. This happened on ticket #4235. As can be seen in [https://dev.tiki.org/tiki-tracker_view_history.php?itemId=4235|the history (version 5)], I had to give up on QUOTE to keep the code displayed.

This was working in previous versions of Tiki (maybe 9.x?). I couldn't check when the regression was introduced.
