When renaming a page, an option to automagically add a placeholder page.

This placeholder page should be the redirect plugin, which sends to the new page and has "301" headers so search engines know to update their DB.

We have in Tiki a way to submit and approval Wiki page revisions.
Unfortunately the naming and labelling of things make hard for new coming (and oder) to find documentation and the feature on the Tiki preferences;

We should decide a name for this and use it everywhere.

We already have:

* ((doc:Computed Tracker Field))

But we would need something additional for the following use case:

We have a tracker with a list of tasks. Each task has typical values:
*Open/Pending/Closed (tracker status field)
*Name (text)
*Description (text area)
*Assigned to (user)
*Assigned by (user)
*Priority (drop-down of 1 to 5)
*Creation date (system generated field)
*Last modification date

This is very similar to:

((doc:PluginTrackerStat)) could provide some stats on how many tasks are in each priority.


Now, imagine each task has 3 additional values:
*Original estimate (do not change the value of this field)
*Hours spent so far
*Time remaining estimate.

((doc:Computed Tracker Field)) could calculate 2 additional values.

* ''Current estimate'' would calculated by ''Time remaining estimate'' plus ''Hours spent so far''
* ''How on-target are we?'' would calculated by ''Current estimate'' divided by ''Original estimate'' times ''100''

So far, so good!

However, we would like to know:
*The total number of all hours of work remaining.
*The overall ''How on-target are we?''

((doc:PluginTrackerList)) coudl be extented to have a report of the total number of hours, with certain filters.

Then, Tiki could be used to manage a Tiki Sheet:

In the future, we could generate ((doc:Graphics and Charts)) from this data, like we do in the ((doc:spreadsheet))

Please see: ((tw:CMS Landscape)) and ((tw:Wiki landscape)) and try to edit those pages without getting lost.

I'm using the BigBlueButton as stadalone and it works fine.
But there is an audio problem when I use it as a feature in Tiki.
Everything works fine except the audio. When I click on the headset it doesn't join the audio server (freeswitch).

I have the same problem on this site:

Every now and then dev.tw.o becomes unaccessible. The site gets slower and slower and eventually it stops working. The problem is with the database. Line 767 in lib/trackers/trackerlib.php

$query_cant = 'SELECT count(DISTINCT ttif.`itemId`) FROM '.$base_tables.$sort_tables.$cat_table.$mid;

Under some circumstances this query never returns from the database, runs forever and blocks the complete dev.tw.o database, making the site unresponsive.

In Tiki 1.9.8.3, even if the feature is off, you can see references to trackback pings in tiki-view_blog.php , tiki-view_blog_post.php, tiki-edit_blog.php and tiki-blog_post.php

Proper feature checks for {$feature_blogposts_pings}, {$feature_trackbackpings} and if the feature is activated per blog should be done.

Tour doesn't work in trunk currently (to be Tiki 19) since the switch from Bootstrap 3 to 4, in a quick test of an existing tour. The first popup appears but the second doesn't. But according to the Bootstrap Tour site ([https://github.com/sorich87/bootstrap-tour/issues/554]) it should work so the library needs to be updated and then Tour retested.

After changing admin pass in a brand new Tiki install the user is sent to example.com/Homepage even if the preference was not enabled by default, and the server didn't support it, like in the case of show.t.o.

This can produce the awful impression that Tiki is broken just in your first trial/test in a server.

Sheds bad light on Tiki if people cannot subscribe to "__Subscribe to Tiki Releases newsletter - Critical & Security update__" as advertised.

On "tiki.org/Versions" the link entitled: "Why PHP 5.5 and not 5.4" broken.

I have searched through the site and did not find it, so could not update it myself.

Access to pages on doc.tikiwiki.org with names like "User / Group / IP / Page - Selector Tracker Field" is broken.

When you enter dto's preferences and want to set your location in your profile, you can no longer search for your town. Doing so yields this error message:

REQUEST_DENIED: You must use an API key to authenticate each request to Google Maps Platform APIs. For additional information, please refer to http://g.co/dev/maps-no-account

Looks like the code for that no longer interfaces correctly with Google...

When browsing categories using tiki-browse_categories.php, tracker items with multiple categories assigned do not appear correctly. Blank descriptions.

When a bug has been reported on dev.tikiwiki.org, the completion page http://dev.tikiwiki.org/your+wish+has+been+cast has a box which used to show the submitted report. Although the "LAST ITEMS" box is present, it is empty.

I have yet id3127 id3148 explained the problems of the bug and wishes list.

I returns on the subject :
*before if you were clicking on the column headers, which function is to allow to sort the displayed list, you where generating a crash by an SQL request error.
Somebody have done something.

*Now : When you use this feature the list is simply cleared (if error then return).

Either this tool is without any interest for development or not at all.
If it is without interest it must be suppressed...
if not it must normally function even simply.
Actually the function are very simple but they don't functions.

!!The list sort problem : a display simply cleared...

If it is, anybody can understand that the impossibility to sort a list which is always displayed as playing card poker, makes impossible any revue of a subject.

This is the main problem.

!!Minimum enhancements in my opinion
__A really minimum list :__
*Display the "id" and the "author"
*Display a full date (the day)
*Allow a direct access by the "id"
*Allow selection by check box and display only checked items
*Send by mail the current list
*Optionally send by mail the content of an id

This could allow to check this list...

At dev on the buttons the light red is the main "call for action", "default action", primary background color button. The dark red is the secondary background color button.

When I edit/create an event in the calendar on dev.t.o at the bottom, this is what I see:

Due to the placement buttons and the fact that there is 2 default action (primary color) the preview button seems to be the "default" one. That’s wrong UX.
"Save" should be the first (start - left direction) and only primary, "Preview" and "Copy to a new events" should come after with both secondary colors.

This is the same (worst) when editing a page at t.o (cancel doesn’t look like a "cancel" button, it is secondary):

When I edit a tracker item this is what I have:

The order is good but "Rename" and "Write together" have wrong colors. They should use the secondary color. (also the Lock button not shown here is primary color).

We should carefully design our buttons for a better UX.
Those elements a critical for new user approaching Tiki and partly explain why people feel uncomfortable and confused with Tiki.

Saying that Tiki is too big and there is too many options is just another way to say that the interface is too confusing. ?

It is visible when I log as admin
It is not visible (no events are visible) as anonymous

Anonymous can:
Can browse the calendar (tiki_p_view_calendar)
Can view event details (tiki_p_view_events)

So they should see the events.
