A nice feature would be to be able to trigger a group transition inside a tracker plugin. (Not only in the memberlist plugin)

My idea is to use it ([https://dev.tiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=5948|In conjunction with this request]) to make a workflow of accepting a user based on a group tracker the user has filled to join a group. (An application form, in other words)

Tracker X has an attachment field, A.
If someone uploads an item with A="x.doc" then the next time it would not work. It could easily happen that different users would like to use the same name for their attachment.
The point is that there is no error message forcing the user to select a unique attachment file name. Instead, it just does not record the attchment in the database and looks as if everything went well.

Hi, I am on 5.0Beta and the tracker's user selector / option 1 (=autoassign) does not work. Has such issue been fixed since then?

When the user selector field is added to the Fields, then it gives a list to choose. If it is not in the Fields list, then it does not care about it.

does not assign the fields 64 and 66.

Related: 3186, a regression reported on the user selector field, which had a work-around by setting view="user" and excluding the user selector field from the fields parameter.

Two person need to work on a tracker entry. Some fields are only editable byan admin, the others can be handled by registered users. When I now add data in the defined tracker fields as an admin, everything is fine.

Now the registered user takes over the case, wants to update/change the fields he has to. So far everything looks fine, he only can edit the one he has access to but as soon as he wants to save it, the fields only editable by the admin suddenly disappear:

Maybe it is on purpose designed like this, but then I just would not get the logic behind it.

There was a typo introduced in a commit made on Aug. 15, 2014 to the file ~/lib/trackers/trackerlib.php
I noticed that the latest commit had broken our Tracker plugin on a couple of our pages, and after doing some digging, found that a typo in a variable had been introduced.

In the code:

On line 1291, the variable 'Tracker_item' should in fact be 'Tracker_Item' , with a capital I in Item.

This bug is seem on tiki.org, and I tried it on next.tiki.org too - with same effect. When I try and remove my image from the Consultants tracker (tracker 22), the browser goes to a URL:

which results in a 404.

Obviously part of the problem is that the trackerId and itemId is not in the URL as can be seen. The thing is I haven't tried this on a plain Tiki yet - it might be something specific to tiki.org (as it does use perspectives which may be a factor, although I made sure i was in the correct perspective before editing the tracker item, so that probably isn't it).

!Impossibility to modify and save item
I'm a registered user with minimum functionality "Registered user" in the "Video" group.

In trying to modify my Consultant profile, I encountered several difficulties.

The main difficulty is that I am unable to modify the content. Let alone my img, I want to modify my description.

Working with tracker items it is not possible to upload/select a file using using Files field type for trackers.

The file gets uploaded to the file gallery, but the modal closes without linking the file to the tracker item.

I've hit this type of error 500 (using Tiki 18svn & php 7.2.9) several times in a wiki page with Plugin TrackerFilter, when the field shows a dropdown field, and I select one option in the dropdown before clicking at the export button:

On a Tiki24.1 I use many trackers

On one of those trackers all the fields permanent name have been modified and an underscore with 4 numbers was added.

However in the tracker the fields displayed the normal permanent name. (tracker_field_sessionsSelector)
I re indexed several times and the problem was still there.

I deleted the table :
index_62e2377698171
index_pref_en
index_pref_he

And reindexed.

Surprise, now in the tracker => fields the permanent name has been changed to "tracker_field_sessionsSelector_7947"

I don't see anything in the tracker settings that could have done this

In a tracker, when i set a field "text area" to use toolbar and wysiwyg i will have a lot of Unwanted alert "You are about to leave this page". Go at :[http://dev.tiki.org/tracker5] Click on the button "View Items".

I am monitoring the dev.tw.o tracker and changed my e-mail adress to get the new tracker items to another mailbox.

Well, that didn't happen! ;)
And after re-subscribing to the tracker, now I get them twice - in both accounts.

I guess I'll have to change my mail-adress back and forth to unsubscribe..

amette update: just checked 1.9.x checkbox - more update: changing e-mail back and unsubscribing works flawlessly

The page describing tracker fields hasn't been updated since Tiki 9.x, so several types are missing.

So either manually update ((Tracker Field Types)), or (even better) write a small wiki plugin to automatically generate that list.

When upgrading Cartograf from Tiki 21.x (possibly 24.x?) to 27.x we found that "[https://gitlab.com/tikiwiki/tiki/-/merge_requests/2170|duplicate cascade]" wasn't set on the child trackers to duplicate features when a map is duplicated.

This used to happen always before this option was added but it would be nice, espescially if "Cascade actions" is set to "All" on the ItemLink fields, then -+duplicateCascade+- should be set to "Yes" (1).

I try to upload a file (file is uploaded but not assigned and show error)
