Backslash in page name breaks ability to navigate to page
In previous version, the backslash "\" was allowed as a character in page names, and you could access pages like this fine, but for some reason in tiki 11 if a pagename has a backslash in it, one cannot access the page (get "page does not exist". I tested in a tiki 11 instance, and it appears that this is not the default behavior, and you need to have search engine friendly url's enabled and have enabled your apache clean urls too, which I could not test on the instance. UPDATE: replacing the _htaccess file with a _htaccess from a previous version makes it possible to navigate to these pages with backspaces in their names. Note that the url generated by both files are the same. Not sure exactly how htaccess works, but thats the deal. |

duplicating files through elFinder fails with perm error message (for admin)

Paste on a wiki page with wysiwyg shows nothing; same effect through the 'paste' button in the toolbar; only works through 'source' button + paste
r46040 http://dev.tiki.org/item4532?show=view Created a few pages through the Workspace UI. My settings were wysiwyg optional, displayed by default, reopen with same editor, content is parsed like wiki page, use wiki syntax in wysiwyg. Ah, codemirror is on, even if I wonder if it matters for this bug. When I went to paste some content to one of those new pages, I opened the page, pasted content from somewhere else (another wiki page with simple text editor, som plain ascii), and nothing was shown in the wysiwyg editor. I tried again through the button to paste content, but same effect: nothing is displayed on the page (in the editor, still in edit mode, I mean). Then I clicked at "source", and pasted the wiki syntax there. It was shown in the editor. then saved. and the content was parsed, and displayed properly also in the wiki page (in display mode). ~~#FF0000:Edited by Bsfez:~~ Could be related, paste in this field (text area with wysiwyg) show only a string "undefined". |

Line breaks in wiki syntax for colors: regression or accidental feature?
Please see: http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-pagehistory.php?page=TikiTests&source=40 There is: {CODE()}~~#FF0000:This is a great start! I think automated testing will be an important ingredient in the future, to keep TikiWiki stable. That said, it seems to me that TikiTests still falls short of meeting many of my needs as a Test Driven Developer. I want to start ussing automated tests on Tiki ASAP, so let's figure out what's missing, and how to best support those needs. ~~{CODE} This used to produce colored text. In a recent upgrade, it no longer does. Is this a regression bug? Or was this an accidental but never official feature? Related: {wish id=2496} |

Minor changes still result in email notification
On at least two sites, running respectively 3.x and 4.x: - jiamcatt.ourwiki.net (3.x) - terminology.tikiwiki.org (4.x) I noticed that if I change a wiki page and save it as a minor edit, email notifications are still being sent. I think that this only happens when the user is part of a group for which a Group Watch has been set. When I tested on the 3.x site, that's the conclusion I had come to (this AM, UK time). But this PM (UK time), I tested on the 4.x site, and it seems that the minor edit is causing notification even if a user-defiined watch (i.e. as opposed to a group watch) is set. BTW: This bug caused a minor incident on the JIAMCATT site. Someone did about 30 minor edits to a page that was being monitored by a large number of people, because he was a newbie and was trying to master the syntax for referencing a section inside a page. As a result, 30 notifications got sent to a hundred people, and some of them got pretty pissed off, and almost walked out on the site. One person asked to be "taken off this infernal web site". So, if the bug can be fixed quickly, I can go back to this community and tell them that something was done to prevent that sort of problem in the future, which might diffuse the crisis. |

Option: "Content is parsed like wiki page" leads to unwanted problems
If you uncheck the option: Content is parsed like wiki page some features of the tiki wiki will not work anymore. --- __Our case:__ We have many code examples where we, for example, have arrays like you have them in javascript with square brackets. ~np~["array"]~/np~ When wiki syntax is parsed, the square brackets are interpreted as a wiki link, which is not the case. __The solution:__ we solved the problem with the option "Content is parsed like wiki page". We unchecked it, so wiki syntax is not interpreted. __Side effect:__ Now, if we try to insert an image from the file gallery, tiki wiki inserts it as a wiki image with the wiki syntax. That won't work, obviously. Another feature that won't work anymore is the codemirror plugin. The plugin inserts wiki syntax too. __My opinion:__ All features that use wiki syntax have to check, if this option is set. If it is not checked, than they have to insert html. I mean, if the file gallery inserts a simple img html tag, it would simply work, the same for codemirror. |

Switching perspectives should have URL of the home page of that perspective, instead of tiki-index.php
Currently what happens is when user clicks on a perpective link (tiki-switch_perspective.php?perspective=8), it will automatically change to http://example.com/tiki-index.php which is the same address for any perspectives by default... which can confuse user when they add the link as bookmark (favorites links) their browser will save the this link http://example.com/tiki-index.php and not http://example.com/tiki-switch_perspective.php?perspective=8 |

Tiki Connect Data Preview shows wrong Tiki Version & never-ending 'loading' in popup box + unable to Register to send Info
Connect doesn't work any more on 12.x for me. (and in 13.x, I couldn't make it work either a few weeks ago) I tried recently again, and I saw 2 issues at least: # When clicking at Preview info, there is a wrong Tiki Version info and never-ending 'loading' in popup box + {img fileId="779" thumb="y" rel="box[g]"} # when attempting to register the the site to be able to send Info, I see the popups requesting: ** "Please confirm you want to participate in Tiki Connect" ** "Welcome to Tiki Connect, please click "Send Info" when you want to make a connection." + But when I tried to click at "__Send Info__", again, I see a popup saying this: ** "__Your Tiki is not registered here yet, please try again__" --- In a Tiki 13.x, nothign happens. You can see it in action here: http://xavi-9794-5252.show.tikiwiki.org/tiki-admin.php?page=connect u: admin p: 12345 Interface set to Spanish, and using Chrome on GNU/Linux. You click at "Preview Info", or at "Send Info", and nothin happens, besides that you are sent to the start of the page. --- I could'nt make a show.t.o instance for 12.x since there might be an error here in dev.t.o. Every time I select 12.x for the show.t.o instance, it gets created one for 13.x |

WYSIWYG - "Insert internal wiki link" button doesn't work (infinite wait)
I have a strange problem on Tiki 2.0RC2: I have two similar TikiWiki-installations. One just for testing on my Linux-Server and the second on a WinNT-Server. The Windows-Server is the one we want to/have to use for our Wiki :-( On my Linux-Server works everything. On the Win-Server don’t work wysiwyg-editor’s “Insert/Edit an internal wiki linkâ€-button. The “window†opens but it shows only this animated waiting-bar. (See the picture) Any other button works fine! |
