History: PHP 8

((Tiki22)), ((Tiki23)), ((Tiki24)) and ((Tiki25)) require PHP 7.4 as per ((doc:Requirements)). 
((Tiki26)) requires PHP 8.1

EoL of PHP 7.4 is November 2022: https://endoflife.date/php
But distros support much longer, as explained at ((doc:PHP8))

((Polyfills)) now make it easier to support multiple versions of PHP with the same code.

As of 2022-01, major distros ship 7.4 (ex.: Debian 11) by default.
