3rd level options in unified admin backend lost due to bad color contrast
When you switch the tiki admin ui to the unified admin backend, then some options in 3rd level are not shown at all (they lokk like back over black font color). {img fileId="2117" thumb="box"} Same UI in Tiki25 display a different color so that they can be seen. {img fileId="2118" thumb="box"} (btw, nice option offered to new admins by default in the standard UI in hteir brand new tiki!) |

Create new Group function does not work Tiki V26.0 Clean install brand new database
When trying to create a new group you just get a "working" message and a spinning gear wheel. The create button does not illuminate. I left this running for several hours on one occasion. For existing groups the same thing happens if you try to change properties / setting such as adding a homepage etc. I did find that on one attempt out of about 20 i was able to add one group but it has not worked since. I have since found that the function works most of the time if you clear the tiki cache files immediately before the attempt. Sorry i can't work out how to find or work the show bug function |

Manticore Search, CustomSearch; In Tiki26, adding a relation to an item will move the item at to end of the displayed results (unlike in Tiki25)
In an updated Tiki25 using ElasticSearch I have a customSearch that displays orders. When I receive a payment I use a button to create a payment item (in a different tracker) and set a relation between the 2 items (order <-> payment). On Tiki25 the operation is completed and the initial item (the order item) is at the same place in my customSearch results. --- On the same Tiki (same database and same server) using Tiki26 and Manticore I have a different behavior. After saving the payment item and going back to the results page the initial order item it is related to is gone.😳 I refreshed the index but still couldn't find it. In the trackers payments and orders I can see the items exist so the operation was completed. However the placement of the item I just related another item to has been changed in the customSearch results. This item (order item) has been moved to the end of the results list after I related to this item another item from a different tracker. It shouldn't, I have a sort filter here based on order item date `{sort mode="tracker_field_productsboughtDate_ndesc"}`. {mediaplayer src="display2103"} |

Show2 instance server doesn't easily support Tiki26
(Thank you Xavier for pointing this out) The current Tiki show infrastructure works well but it doesn't support multiple versions of PHP and thus we have show1 (PHP5) and show2 (PHP 7) https://gitlab.com/tikiwiki/tiki/-/tree/master/doc/devtools/tim is used for show2 As PHP 8.1 is requirement for Tiki26, we need to decide on our next steps. Options include: # Improve show2 to support multiple versions of PHP # Deploy show3 with PHP 8.1 with current script # Deploy ((show3)) with Virtualmin (which has great multi-PHP support # Something else? |

Tracker textarea field's word-break: break-all property breaks words when they don't need to be
In branch 26, word-break: break-all is applied in an inline style to the textarea tracker field contents. This causes extreme word breaks where they aren't needed, and makes content look broken. [https://matrix.to/#/!SLEgqpTNTlGYAhzNvK:gitter.im/$EGOQSs17uxtDLIyr59ViMBOx1JS_CoLkJsI1ZcDyZag?via=gitter.im&via=matrix.org&via=sans-nuage.fr|Matrix chat comment with screenshot] This is new, compared to Tiki 25. I'm guessing it was added because of tight space when a tracker item is being edited inline, but it isn't good for other situations that don't have that space limit. If there is a way to limit the scope of this style to the locations where space is limited (inline tracker item editing?), then a CSS rule should be added that has that scope. If there's no way to limit the scope like that, then at least the property should be added with a class and a CSS rule, not with inline CSS, so it can be overridden in the instances where it isn't wanted. |

Wiki Argument, page; It is now necessary (on Tiki26) to use the wiki variable page and/or limit pagination to 1 to pass it inside a smarty template using it.
On Tiki25 I can set on a page a List plugin filtering "this" object title - the page title. Then the results can be used in a wiki template (with other wikiplugins) and if I use ~np~{~/np~{page}} inside the template (or other wikiplugins). The code will know what page (title) I'm talking about. On Tiki26 this is not enough and the page (title) is "unkown" or picked randomly based on last list result of all the wiki pages even if there is only ONE results (obviously you can have only one page with a title - duplication is not allowed). See my solutions. --- It is on a customized Tiki with a List => Smarty template => Wikiplugin Include AND it work in multilingual. This to allow a user without page editing permission (test typing only) to edit/translate content of blocks in the page without modifying it. So I set the importance to low however it may be something we have to look at in the future and other cases. {mediaplayer src="display2088"} |

Wiki edit help plugin modal not displaying
In master, when editing a wiki page, clicking the edit help icon brings up the first modal as usual. But, switching to the plugin help tab and clicking on a plugin to insert, the modal for that doesn't display. The first modal just disappears and nothing takes its place. This is using the standard wiki edit screen, and WYSIWYG and Markdown are not activated. Update: This bug report was closed but, checking again in master and branch 26x (in a Windows 11 Laragon wamp stack), I'm finding that, again (or still), plugin UI modals don't open from the general wiki help modal. I tried in Firefox and Edge browsers. Clicking the PluginBox icon in the first modal's list of plugins doesn't open the second modal. Nothing happens. |

After upgrading to Tiki26 several of my pages are broken and shows the following: {CODE()}Fatal error rendering template resource tiki-show_page.tpl TypeError: call_user_func(): Argument #1 ($callback) must be a valid callback, no array or string given in /home/bsfez/public_html/lib/init/SmartyTikiErrorHandler.php:95 Stack trace: #0 /home/bsfez/public_html/temp/templates_c/fr_social^7cba25fefb5120294201d81d1e9f112ea977a682_0.file.layout_view.tpl.php(286): SmartyTikiErrorHandler->handleError() #1 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_template_resource_base.php(123): content_64c0e45c25e9f6_16431072() #2 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_template_compiled.php(114): Smarty_Template_Resource_Base->getRenderedTemplateCode() #3 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_template.php(217): Smarty_Template_Compiled->render() #4 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_template.php(386): Smarty_Internal_Template->render() #5 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_runtime_inheritance.php(116): Smarty_Internal_Template->_subTemplateRender() #6 /home/bsfez/public_html/temp/templates_c/fr_social^1db2b71d9597fdb80939756f2d45df4ec171fc26_0.file.tiki-show_page.tpl.php(53): Smarty_Internal_Runtime_Inheritance->endChild() #7 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_template_resource_base.php(123): content_64c0e45c1ff436_21465900() #8 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_template_compiled.php(114): Smarty_Template_Resource_Base->getRenderedTemplateCode() #9 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_template.php(217): Smarty_Template_Compiled->render() #10 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php(238): Smarty_Internal_Template->render() #11 /home/bsfez/public_html/vendor_bundled/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php(134): Smarty_Internal_TemplateBase->_execute() #12 /home/bsfez/public_html/lib/init/smarty.php(492): Smarty_Internal_TemplateBase->display() #13 /home/bsfez/public_html/tiki-index.php(746): Smarty_Tiki->display() #14 /home/bsfez/public_html/route.php(364): include('...') #15 {main}{CODE} I had to fix a dozen of pages by changing the pageName and the pageSlug from within the database (phpmyadmin). (while the page action button were not accessible I tried also to use `https://www.bernardsfez.com/tiki-rename_page.php?page=...` saving a new title displayed the error again.) {mediaplayer src="display2100"} {mediaplayer src="display2101"} Pages title I had to change so far (grouped by set of translation en, fr, he): * Kindergarten-and-children’s-activities-software-management-online * Logiciel de gestion de Crèches Garderies Centres aérés Ateliers et Activités pour enfants * תוכנה-מקוון-לניהול-צהרון-חוגים-וגני-ילדים * Knowledge database management web app * Application-Web-de-gestion-de-base-de-données-et-de-connaissances I can't see something common to those titles. After modifying from within the database i could access to the page and I renamed them to "validate" in the Tiki way the changes. Still, I had to remove manually the rows for previous existing alias for the pages I modified from inside the "tiki_object_relations" table. These pages don't have a lot of code. They are mainly a plugin List that use Smarty templates. I have 18 pages like these (6 pages * 3 for all languages) and only 5 didn't worked. |

The tarballs for 26.0RC1 are 30% to 45% bigger than for 25.x releases, due to not cleaning the vendors directory properly. This should be improved.
