Since upgrade from 12 to 15: weird characters in non-english notification emails (wrong encoding?)

p: 12345Change the email associated to the user "xavier" to one email of yours. And as admin, add a new item to the tracker1 (user "xavier" is subscribe to the tracker already). Interface is in Spanish for all (sorry for that, but needed for easy setup of the testing environment 😊.
Email received got proper encoding and chars displayed in the subject for me, but not in the email body, where there were wrong chars displayed.
For instance, this part:

was expected to show:Copy to clipboardTesting special charaters: ÁÉÍÓÚñçàèìòù
as shown in the header of the show.t.o instance.Full email received (short headers shown heere, sorry; I couldn't see any charset info in the full headers; for full headers, send a notification email to your own email as indicated above):
