Everytime I use the maketoc inside a wiki page on a fresh tikiwiki 3.2 install the whole page content is duplicated every time I hit "save". Even if I delete all the content but one version and hit save the whole PREVIOUS page is duplicated again. Like I hit save: two times the page content. I delete all but one time the content, I hit save: three times the page content. I delete all but one time ... save ... four times the page content.
Only removing the maketoc makes it possible to get rid of the problem. But meanwhile the wiki content has become a bit more (30-40 pages) and the same problem happens more and more often without having any maketoc included when the page is becoming bigger.
That was done with Opera browser on a page with 4 h1 headings but I doubt it is a browser problem. :)

It would be nice if there was the ability to have links to attachments easier than having to remember the file name from the attachments screen. It would be nice to get a list of all attachments on the WIKI edit screen and have the ability to click on the attachments to bring in the WIKI markup for the attachment link.

I believe the problem occurs when someone goes to edit a page then uses the browser buttons, links or types a new URL without clicking either the svae or cancel buttons. -- mdavey

A related issue is that the lock is checked /before/ all the permissions checks have been done. The result is that one can try to edit a page as anonymous, get an error warning, login, try again only to be told that 'Anonymous' is editing the page. -- mdavey

The edit section is based on 'what you see' and the tiki-editpage.php is based on the source
So if you have an optional heading. eX:

Say I have a tab open to editing page X, and then I close tab X.
the editor does not register that I closed the edit session, so when another user comes along to edit the page, they get a notification that the page is currently being edited, even though its not.

Not sure if this persists, or eventually times out or something, but figured I'd dump the behavior. I'll update if I find out more.

I have upgraded our tiki 18.1 to 18.2 with no problem, but now when I upgraded to 18.3 and tried to edit a wiki page the page just keeps on loading. We use Full Wysiwyg editor as default. If I disable this function I am able to edit page with wiki editor.

With the WYSIWYG editor enabled (but html not checked in the wiki settings), I am unable to use wiki syntax in the normal editor when I save or preview. That is, the wiki markup shows up as text on the page.

It switches back to WYSIWYG after pressing preview as well.

If I enter html in the Normal editor it works fine.

After upgrade to 27.5 (I have not observer this in 27.2), edits made to Wiki Plugins on any given Wiki Page cause PHP errors related to missing language definition.
# Assigned language of the Wiki Page is removed (causing a PHP error, and "No language assigned" message)
# Page Description is removed
The above can be reverted using History, but it's practically impossible to edit Plugins without causing data loss (description).
User is forced to manually re-assign language (which fixes PHP errors), and insert new Page Description.
Tested on fresh install of 27.5

PHP errors shown on affected page are related to translated-lang.tpl (missing language)

Adding or changing a Wiki page has the error "A contribution is mandatory" when saving.

While trying to insert a file or image into a tiki page, the editor user interface will not load that image using "Browse Gallery" when that file is clicked on.
Please see show instance for 19.x and the same issue is present in tiki 20.x

When I evaluated the software for my project, I was very happy when the documentation said that it was possible to create a workflow with categories, transitions and watches. But I realized that watching a category only triggered a mail notification when the transition was made in the tiki-admin_categories.php page. It was useless for me!! :-((

The original Pagetop Hero idea included some JavaScript to dynamically relocate a -+top-image+- class image from the wiki page, blog, article, etc. text to the topbar module location. This is demoed at https://themes.tiki.org/Topbar%20hero. This way, the image can be easily specified while editing the page or post content, can easily be specific to the page or post, and there's no need to do any content editing in the admin modules interface. If this JavaScript and the dynamic function it enabled were added to the implemented module code, I think the module would be greatly improved.

When pages are added to a structure, they appear in chronological order. Placing the pages in order is extremely time intensive. Please consider creating one or more of the following options:

1) A menu choice for alpha sort on a per level basis.
2) The ability to drag and drop entries. (See Netflix queue page.)
3) The ability to manually renumber the page order value and then update all. (See Netflix queue page.)

Additionally, please note that positioning pages by using the up/down icons sometimes creates apparently random placement:

1. One
2. Two
3. Three
4. Four

Selecting the up icon from "3. Three" can sometimes result in:

1. Three <<<< out of place
2. One
3. Two
4. Four

instead of

2. Three <<< where it should have gone

a and A are equivalent. This makes perfect sense for page names, user names, etc Accented characters (äâ) should be as well

For wiki page names (see how Wikipedia does it) but it could be that ~np~((User_Profile)), ((User+Profile)) and ((User Profile))~/np~ are equivalent.


Should hyphen (-) be an equivalent character as well?

Error 500 if a ' is in the text of a Wiki page description.
This video doesn’t show the ' because it took me a few tried to understand why it failed but it is there (doesn't) . ?
Once removed (rewriting the sentence without) I could save the page description.

On Tiki22 the page won’t save (Error 500) if you enter more than 200 characters (white space included).

That wasn’t the case previously (19, 20... 21) can’t tell for sure but I use a lot Description of Wiki page as Meta Tags for SEO so I never seen it before.

I can create, edit and rename wiki pages normally. However, when I try to Remove a wiki page I get the following error message:
