Tracker: modifying an item field does not show the current value as default
An item has a field X (e.g. drop-down), which is already filled in. The tracker to modify the value of X of this item does not show the old value as default. Instead, it looks as if one just started.

trackeritemfield plugin doesn't have the same behavior as trackerlist plugin when rendering images
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
trackeritemfield plugin doesn't have the same behavior as trackerlist plugin when it comes to rendering images:

Please see:
http://americana.org/Showing+TrackerItemField+IMage+Resize+Problem

trackeritemfield:
{trackeritemfield trackerId=14 itemId=2079 fieldId=256}

trackerlist:

TRACKERLIST does not show pending issues for anonym
Admins and other groups can see all tracker items if status="opc" is set, while an anonymous user can only see the open items.
TW5.0Beta1

Example:
~np~{trackerlist trackerId="1" fields="23:11" sort="y" showtitle="n" showlinks="y" showdesc="n" showinitials="n" showstatus="y" showcreated="y" showlastmodif="y" showfieldname="y" showitemrank="n" status="opc" sort_mode="lastModif_desc" max="10" showpagination="n" filterfield="43" filtervalue="C" ignoreRequestItemId="y" silent="n"}~/np~

The open and closed issues are fine.

TRACKERLIST Wiki Plugin Does Not Work for Duplicate Trackers
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
1. create a tracker
2. create a wiki page with {TRACKERLIST} plugin for this tracker

Result = it works!

3. duplicate tracker from #1
4. Add some items to it (as it will be empty)
5. create a wiki page with {TRACKERLIST} plugin for duplicate tracker
making sure to select correct tracker id and field ids.

Result = the headings for the duplicate tracker are displayed,
but NO items are displayed - even though items exist
in the duplicate tracker.

Note: The {TRACKER} plugin works for both the original and
duplicate tracker. This problem makes it difficult to
create a Pretty Tracker based on a duplicate tracker.

Trackers :: email notifications of changes :: more emphasis on changes.
When watching wiki pages, the first part of the notification email is just the diff, and them you can a full copy of the wiki page. So you can quickly see what changed and still have a full copy if needed.

In the tracker notification email, it should be the same principle.

As of now, it lists everything, and indicates new/old values, when appropriate. So we need to scroll all the way down and be very attentive to see what changed.

The same old/new interface should be used in [wish1798|Version history for trackers]

Trackers Relation, Search; Search behaviour is different from other places and make object harder find
On most of Tiki search tools, I can look for items using the object title with partial terms.
bernard will output : bernard-sfez, bernard sfez, etc.

The same is not true using the tracker field relation find
bernard will output : bernard sfez (only)

To find "bernard-sfez" I have to type the entire string.
This is not consistent with the other place a user may look up for something.
This make this feature harder to use

I even feel like they were a change in behaviour at some point of Tiki23.

Trackers, tracker list view show the last time an item was saved and not last time an item (the data) was modified
The last modification date of an item should be the last date the item informations was modified and NOT the date the last time the item was saved. This is critical especially from the end-user point of view,

Modification date for tracker item is a critical information for the end-users but unfortunately in a few places Tiki "wrongly" display "the last time the item was saved" instead. With advanced Tiki (force reserving item on rebuilt-index, tabular update) it is less and less reliable and lead to untrusted Tiki and confusion.

For exemple, if I have a tracker that updated using tabular import from the console every hour, the last modification date for the items checked will be updated every hour EVEN IF THERE IS NO changes.

See the screenshots
On a tracker list view If you look at the last modification date it is today at 10:30 for a lot of items.
If you go down to the history of the item, data was really modified on the 2021-12-17 22:30

{img fileId="1687" thumb="box"}
{img fileId="1688" thumb="box"}

This making the sort filtering, freshness and date management horrible from the user point of view.

Trackers: Modifying dynamic list item type does not work when the reference field is not in fields
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
Related: 3108

We have an item that has X and Y filled in.

X: item link
Y: dynamic item list depending on the value of X

We would like to edit Y, while not showing X in the tracker wiki plugin.

This won't work.

Trackers:: field type helper
The new plugin manager in 3.0 is much more intuitive. It helps uses build plugins with a javascript plugin, documents each syntax, show mandatory fields in bold and offers a global link to the documentation.

This is precisely what we would need for the trackers field type helper.

Translation of this page is incomplete - displays in wrong language.
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
__Wiki / Translate / Translate this page to a new language__

When creating a tranlsation of a wiki page by way of the "Translate this page to a new language" button, the following is automaticlaly inserted above the untranslated text trabsferred fromn the original page to the new page:

^Translation of this page is incomplete.^
I assume this is designed for the benfit of people reading the page (rather than those editing it) and as such I find it very useful for the following two reasons:

If you are using a site in one language, say English, and a page appears in another, say French, its very useful for the reader to understand that:
* nothing is wrong e.g. they haven't mistakenly navigated to the wrong page or changed their language settings, and
* the site editors are aware that the content requires translating.

The problem is that it displays in the wrong language (e.g.in our example above in English when the reader may only understand French). The reader needs to see "Translation of this page is incomplete." in their own language regardless of the language of the untranslated text beneath it, otherwise the benefits above are lost.

(Of course, the same should all apply to Articles but they don't seem to have the "Translate this page to a new language" feature yet - only the ability to link to another already created Article at present).

Translation, Security ticket; The string from the security ticket (js) are not added in the language.js file.
I found out that the Security Ticket string (Security ticket timed out) from tiki-confirm.js are not translated and not even added to lang/xx/language.js

I understand I can add them manually but isn't bad for consistency in general.
Couldn't we have those string added in the lang/xx/language.js file like it is done for the php translation ?

Translations wiki topbar actions links should uses SEFurl links
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
On a Tiki29 I use multilingual and it displays a manage translations dropdown in the top wiki page actions bar.

The links there to go to one translation to another are using the legacy form for the URL instead of the SEFurl.

IE:
https://opensourcesolutions.pro/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=24#%20Admin%20Tips%20That%20Actually%20Help%20on%20Tiki%20Wiki

Instead of:
https://opensourcesolutions.pro/article24-Admin-Tips-That-Actually-Help-on-Tiki-Wiki

For consistency and to avoid possible problems in the future, if SEFurl is enable, all links should use it.

Type-O in Cross Site Request Forgery errors CRSF instead of CSRF
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
Hey all,

I believe I have found a very minor issue.
There appears to be a type-O in the message that show up when a cross-site request forgery error is reported.
At first glance I think this can simply be adjusted to be CSRF without any problems, as it's not a query but simply a log line that's added. It messed with my head a little when trying to fix it on our site. I thought this must be some new thing I missed out on or something. But it appears to be a type-o in the code in some limited places.

It's mostly localized in lib/tikiaccesslib.php in some local variables, where a message also gets added to the Action Log that reports __CRSF__ instead of __CSRF__.
There's also a line in db/tiki.sql and installer/schema/20231119_extend_actionlog_conf_crsf_error_tiki.sql that inserts 'CRSF Error' into the tiki_actionlog_conf table instead of 'CSRF Error'.

If this is already known, and not needed to fix, feel free to delete this bug report.

Typos in /lib/prefs/short.php and users.php prohibit displaying help text
There is a typo in /lib/prefs/short.php which makes displaying the help texts impossible, and it is carried on (through copy&paste by the dev).

Look at these code snippets:
{CODE(Colors="Tiki")}
function prefs_short_list()
{
return [
'short_date_format' => [
'name' => tra('Short date format'),
'descriprion' => tra('Specify how Tiki displays the date (shorter version)'),
.....
'descriprion' => tra('Specify how Tiki displays the time (shorter version)'),
{CODE}

The error is in lines 13 and 23: "descprion" should read "description"... This results in help texts that contain a heading (contained in 'name'), but no text...

This affects ''all'' languages, including English...

unable to downlad files in files gallery

Unable to find images in gallery when uploaded, using only ID
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
Experienced with Tiki 6.1. Consider the following:

#User adds an image to a wiki page by uploading it to the File Gallery.
#After successful upload, Tiki automatically inserts the necessary code:
+{CODE()} {img fileId="99" thumb="y"... {CODE}
#At a later date, the user wants to update/replace the image. There is no way for the user to find the image in the File Gallery, if you only know the __fileId__.
Attempting to search the file gallery for the __fileID__ will ''__not__'' find the image.

Proposed solutions:
#Make the fileID searchable.
#When editing an image via the Edit Plugin, there should be a way to automatically go to the correct file gallery.
#Add an optional field in the __img__ plugin for fileId.

Unable to modify my Consultant profile item (edit and save)
!Impossibility to modify and save item
I'm a registered user with minimum functionality "Registered user" in the "Video" group.

In trying to modify my Consultant profile, I encountered several difficulties.

The main difficulty is that I am unable to modify the content. Let alone my img, I want to modify my description.

!My consultant profile
Here is the url of my consultant description: https://tiki.org/item6579

!Unable to save
Here is the screen capture showing that once I completed my modification, I'm unable to save. It looks like the saving button becomes idle but never finishes.

If someone with admin access can replace the text for the one below in the meantime this bug that was discovered, it would greatly help me get this new contract I'm working on getting so that the prospects looking at my profile can say: Oh, Daniel and his TelePartout can help me resolve problems I have with my business development and he can refer me to the correct resource.

Unable to preview a wiki page if someone else is editing it
If someone else is editing a wiki page the system will show a warning when you try to edit it. If you proceed to edit the page, it is not possible to preview your changes. Every time you click in the preview button after changing something in the page you are redirected to the warning you already decided to ignore. There is no way to preview your changes if someone else is editing the page.

Unable to Switch from Global to Admin Editing Toolbar
Firstly, this bug is being submitted assuming I am operating the editing interface correctly.
The main issue is, when configuring the editor tool bar at tiki-admin_toolbars.php there is a drop down menu for Global, Admin, Articles, Wiki Pages.
I have always assumed that when for example, I choose "Admin" from the drop down menu and I click on load to load the admin tool bar, while the "View Mode" is set to "Wiki and Wysiwgy" and if I assign specific tools to the editing tool bar while in the "Admin" preview, and click on save, then I should be able to see a different tool bar other than what a "Global" user would see in both the Wiki and Wysiwyg toolbar.
This would allow me as an Admin to have the ability to use the "code" or source feature, but on the Global tool bar, the "code" or source feature would not be available to non admin users.
Assuming I am correct in how I see this should work:

After customizing the tool bars for Global, and Admin while in "View Mode" for Wiki and Wysiwyg, and when I go to edit a page as an Admin using the syntax tool bar, I do not see the Admin tool bar, I can only see the Global assigned tool bar. Since Tiki15 (I never used Tiki12) I have never been able to have the option of using different tool bars as assigned at tiki-admin_toolbars.php

A show instance will be created to demo this bug.

Unconsistancy when Admins modify a different User Preferences
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"}
Logged as admin you can modify any user "User Preferences", for exemple change the country.
The URL look like this: tiki-user_preferences.php?userId=15

On save the page will reload to tiki-user_preferences.php and the admin user will see __its__ user preferences and not the one he was modifying.

Untranslateable text strings that cannot be found in the source code?
There are text strings that resist being translated. But although they clearly show up on the admin UI, they cannot be found anywhere in the source code? How can that be?

Example: Stop words for unified search index (tiki-admin.php?page=search).

The preset value is
{CODE(Colors="Tiki")}
a,an,and,are,as,at,be,but,by,for,if,in,into,is,it,not,of,on,or,s,such,t,that,the,their,then,there,these,they,this,to,was,will,with
{CODE}

But a grep through the entirety of Tiki Wiki sources yields no hit?! These values must be defined somewhere... And stop words, if they are not reserved magic keywords i.e. reserved by PHP or MySQL, would be language dependant and thus in need of localization... IMHO.

Module upcoming_events ignores date format parameter
I need to call the module upcoming_events through the module --module-- wiki-plugin, because I need it inside the content.

The call is
{CODE(colors="tiki")}
{module module="upcoming_events" notitle="n" nonums="y" maxDays="7" priorDays="3" date_format="%A, %d. %m" showaction="n" showDescription="y"}
{CODE}

The upcoming events displays what it should, but it ignores the parameter date_format (with which I want to get rid of the year and introduce the day's name). It could be because of the module plugin not passing that parameter. But other parameters do get passed...

Thanks
