Hi all!
I am building a tiki in italian, english, german, french and spanish (not published yet).

My development environment:
- XAMPP 2.5 for Windows
- Apache/2.2.8 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.2.5
- PHP Version 5.2.5
- DBMS Postgres 8.3.1 (running remotely on an Ubuntu box)

tikiwiki version: 1.9.10.1

I'm having a problem using the i18n feature: if I activate "Multilingual" and I select "Italiano (it)", and then I try to update my homepage, I get the following error message:

The some operation, running on a MySql5 based installation, doesn't happen.
Which is my fault ? What another thing I must check and where ?

When user files area is empty it causes error displaying the content.
My tikiwiki is 1.9.1 with php5 and Postgresql 8.x

when downloading image/jpeg type of user avatar it fails due to problem in execution of SQL query. It seems that binary uploads that for sure contains special characters destroys the SQL statament to be queries.
My TikiWiki is 1.9.1 configured with Postgersql 8.x

On a fresh install, I enabled image galleries without realizing that neither GD or ImageMagick libraries had been installed. I was able to create a gallery and attempt an upload of images, which failed with a vague "Upload can not be processed". It was only after visiting the second admin screen (http://localhost/tiki-admin.php?page=gal) that I was able to see that the proper libraries were not installed.

You can not preview a message written through tiki-messaging system (inter-user messages), prior to its post.

Same on trackers.

Print icon in Blogs does not work. It does work in Articles

tiki-objectpermissions.php references tiki_p_admin_objects which is not defined. For that reason the test in line 11 fails and even admin does not have the permissioin the change permissions of article themes.

I get this error when upgrading to the latest version 1.9.3 from my current version (I checked my current version out from CVS as BRANCH-1-9).

My installation worked fine before this, except for some problem in gallery browsing - images don't show - a javascript issue I'll document separately.

So basically if I replace all files with the 1.9.3 version (gzipped tar release), and point the new installation at the database from the pre-existing installation, I get this error. I've experienced this for a while, but assumed it was because I was upgrading to the latest CVS HEAD, and that it was a transient issue (not worth filing as a bug until now - you can't miss it, as practically all page refreshes for anything with categories reveal it).

Below is a snapshot of my top level CVS/Entries file, indicating the latest versions of all files I'm currently running. Any ideas how I've got trapped with an inconsistent database setup, and what I can do about it. I don't remember doing anything fancy, except adding the <span style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66;">freetags</span> library and turning on <span style="color:black;background-color:#ffff66;">freetags</span>.

I face an smarty compiler problem. Only happen when I use the translated text to language Catala. I have tracked the code to this point: tiki-show-page.tpl:

The problem is that "monitor this page" is translated in Catala to " seguiment d'aquesta pà gina", with a single quote inside (wery used in Catala). It seems that the alt tag has single quotes, the translated text also has single quotes and this is what make the smarty compiler to fail. When I remove the single quote from the translated text all works again.

when an new user installs tiki in a browser he does not see the progress of his installation it can cause him to cancel or start the installation again despite the fact that the installation is well done

I have a fresh install of 1.9.7 and 1.9.8 on both Fedora Core 5 and Solaris 10, each with the latest Apache 2.2 and PHP 5 version. When I try to Publish or Republish any TikiWiki Mods, I get this in my php log (I have debugging symbols turned on).

This results in a file beginning with '-rray' being written into mods/Dist and mods/Cache. This file is very hard to remove on these two operating systems, since it keeps tricking the rm command into thinking they are command options even when escaped.

This seems to be the result of an Array being passed as part of the argument to modslib->publish $Items argument. The code assumes that it is a purely an array of strings, and when it is not you generate non-fatal errors that cause this problem

On the Create/Admin Quizzes page, when the setting "Shuffle Questions" is checked, the questions are not shuffled when the user takes the quiz.

When you use the plugin QUOTE, the user you reply not appear automatically in the Post new message box, and you have to introdude it manually

There maybe other special characters with this problem...

Tiki directory was closed down from anonymous viewing for security reasons.

This section should stay restricted:

But the rest of the directory can be available.

How can we do this via permissions or category permissions?

It is possible to include groups recursively.
As a result the users that belong to those groups receive a CGI Error when trying to login.

There is a tiny bug, if you call a page with just the redirect information (the only information which is given at the "wiki help" box for plugins nowadays - 10 june 2005, tiki 1.9.cvs)

If you add on a wiki page called "user"

Tiki attempts to redirect you to:

Thus, Tiki redirects you to the 404 error page.

Session expiration is producing some losts on forum posts (in a similar way it was happening on wiki edits...). That solution by ricks99 was very smart on wiki edits. Could it be added also (or similar behavior) to forum posts?

I had lost that information because I my session (apparently) expired... (maybe there was a conflict of cookies with the ones on other 1.9.9 tiki sites I was loging in and working in right now)...
