In one tracker, I create a user id, first name, last name fields as text fields.
In a second tracker, I create an item link to have the user id field as a drop down for the second tracker. I then create a Dynamic Items List field for first name and last name in the second tracker that links with the user id of the first tracker. So when you select a user id from the drop down it automatically populates the corresponding first and last name in the respective fields.

Once an items is entered in the second tracker and I view items and filter on last name, I cannot search for last name of the entered items.

For example, if the last name is smith and I search for 'smith' the results are empty.

It is not possible anymore to set the plugin module on a wiki page using plugin help.
As seen on video it is not possible to select a module and even trying the first (default) one the code is not pasted in the text area.

On an updated Tiki 12 to 16 then to 18 I can’t create a new survey (WSoD).
(I couldn’t reproduce on instance as it seems ok on a new db)

Step to reproduce;
On my local I set file gallery to directory and set a directory outside www.
I uploading several files from within the file gallery.

When I try to delete some items. (one by one or several using the select box)
I got a white page on Safari and an error 500 page on Chrome.
A refresh bring me back to : tiki-list_file_gallery.php

Not possible to switch editor for the text area field in tracker

I set an instance.
Go to trackers => Contacts
Create an item (or use the existing one) with a text area field, toolbar = yes
Switch the "Bio" field from the wiki editor to the other.

Error "No tracker indicated".

I tried the other way around but get a different issue.
I changed the text area field setting to use wysiwyg = yes

It displays ok, BUT I have to way to switch to Wiki.
I checked the toolbar and the tool is there.

So It look like it is missing on the wysiwyg toolbar when using trackers.

On Tiki 18.x I have a tracker with a dropdown field to display different values.

By default the value should be 0.
The dropdown doesn’t display an option if the value of the option is 0.

I tried:
0,1,2,3,4,5

I created an instance.
The field time is a dropdown with the following options: 0=0 hours,1=1 hour,2=2 hours,3=3 hours,4=4 hours

Create an item, the first value (equal 0) is not displayed.

I have the feeling this is a nasty regression.(in another case changing back the value for something else than 0 didn’t make the "lost" options reaper.

At a Tiki 18 site that is closed except for those with permission to access (admins) I made a "Test Users" group and assigned the perm "can access closed site" to the group. But test users in this group can't access the site; the login fails (page refreshes with fields empty). When I'm logged in as an admin and switch to a test user at tiki-login.php, I'm immediately logged out of the site.

This needs to be confirmed at other Tiki installations, but seems to be a regression.

UPDATE: The feature works ok at my localhost branch 18, so there is probably a configuration issue at the problem site.

When viewing a page and editing using the inline icon a plugin changes are not saved.
(last one where it occurred : https://doc.tiki.org/PluginToc

Go to the page, check edit icon is enable.
Edit any of TOC plugin, do some change and save.

Nothing changes and if you re-open the edit dialog or edit the page it show like nothing was edited.

NOTE : If you edit the page, select the plugin, click on the "?" icon, select the plugin itself (like you want place a new one) you will see the same plugin editing dialog and changes there will be saved.

~~#F00:__EDIT__~~ : I created an instance to reproduce and I couldn’t. But I’m sure that it happen from time to time (and not only at Tiki.org) on different Tiki I worked on since Tiki 13.

Plugin List fails to find a match for the category Profiles Wizard (292) in dev.t.o

This item

This wiki page has a plugin list call to show items in this category (with equivalent syntax that it's working with no problems - apparently - in other pages in dev.t.o):

and it fails to list that tracker item (and any others tagged against that category, if any).

The first issue is that I received the notice to approve the plugin even though I already approved the plugin at the site after editing the page. This is a regression.

The second issue is that the email message is malformed. It says:

"Plugin html is pending approval on Shared_t_o_footer."

And the text "Shared_t_o_footer" is supposed to be a link to that page, but it isn't a link. What should be the URL is actually the data from the body of the plugin, that is, the entire wiki page content in this case.

It used to work. Showed the form with all the fields when not specified by -+fields=""+- param.

The inline help even claims so:
"Colon-separated list of field IDs to be displayed in the form as input fields. __If empty, all fields will be shown.__ Example: 2:4:5"

Now just shows the Save button alone.

__Update:__ Just encountered the same issue on a site upgraded from 9.x to 21.x :( Does it need some new preference to work? {sign user="luci" datetime="2020-10-13T17:56:56+00:00"}

I can't make a simple ((doc:PluginWysiwyg)) call to work as expected in Tiki18 (afaik it worked as expected up to Tiki16 at least; I didn't try in Tiki17).

And I've noticed that if I clone the same page contents from my production site to a page in the show.t.o instance, the issue can't be reproduced: admin user can open the wysiwyg editor coming from the plugin wysiwyg.
And if I add perms to the page in my production site so that anons can edit the wiki page, the issue vanishes
Odd, after adding and removing perms in that page in my production site, I can't reproduce the issue any more. :-/

Ok, I'll close this bug report, with a tag "works for me". Who knows what was going on.

On Mac Safari since a few day I had issue when posting a reply on the forum at tiki.org nothing is saved at first I though I did something wrong but after the third time I check clicking the back button :

Since upgrading from LTS18.7 to 18.8, we are now unable to remove specific versions of a wiki page.
So whilst we can edit a page to hide profanity, obsenity and the like, we can not physically remove that version of the page.

This might also mean a site would be unable to fully comply with a "right to be forgotten" style request.

As an admin or suitably privildges user, go to page history, add tick in box for the version to be deleted. Then from the drop down menu at the foot of the page select Remove and click on the OK button.

The "Please confirm" pop up is shown and then click on Delete button.

The Error message "No version were selected. Please select one or more versions" is shown at the top of the History screen. The screen shows a selection tick against the version it's just failed to delete.

This bug seems closely related to at least two other recently filed bugs ....

Unassigning several users from a group fail, only one is removed.

On May 12, the US President issued an Executive Order that binds US agencies that software purchased needs a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM).

A SBOM is a comprehensive (!) list of ALL dependencies. You have to list every (!) module, tool, library, whatever that Tiki relies on in a predefined, machine readable format. If you do not provide a SBOM, no US agency or office will be allowed to use Tiki.

The reasoning behind that is simple and clear: Unknown dependencies cause unknown cyber risks. As they are unknown, the impact of those can range from negligible to catastrophic. All dependencies must be tracked. If software that Tiki depends on does not get updated, features might break, or even worse, impose direct security threats through Zero Day exploits. Oh well, looking at some popular tool's outdated version history, you might not even need "0days" to break into other vendor's software, where the user (or admin) might not even be aware of the dependency. Or the depency of some other dependency.

Log4j was the last warning to the industry (and in this regard, Tiki must be considered to be part of the industry).

The machine readable format of SBOM makes it possible to discover the depencies of the dependencies. Nestings of a dozen or more levels are not uncommon...

Now the president took action. Tiki should react, IMHO. Tiki must react, or Tiki won't be usable by officials anymore.

In a wiki page I set the plugin img (image) to use an image from "anywhere on the internet".
Several options are not working:
* Thumbnail (no matter what I choose I see the image full-size)
* Image size (no change or image not displayed, Setting width to 50% won’t change anything)
* ...

If I change to use an image from the file gallery it work just fine.

After upgrading a Tiki20 to Tiki21 I was able to rebuilt the index:

Checking the item (I had to find it!) I found out that having a sort parameter in an itemList field was responsible.

Once removed it worked.
This is very problematic when you have financial data as any report must be ordered (by date).

I had the feeling I seen that (and reported) already but I couldn’t find a ticket.

I set up a Tiki19 with user tracker information.
When I register ONE user the tracker is populated with one item but at tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=1 I see the same item twice.

When I create a tracker field that whose label is composed of special characters (@@@@) or using exotic language those characters are omitted. In case of multilingual (all characters are exotic) only the "Field Prefix" is used. This result is an error (no error message, it fail) to create more than one field.

Meaning if I have a prefix like "survey" and I create fields like :

שם משפחה
שם פרטי
etc...

They all will have the same permaname, "survey" and this is not possible/allowed so after the first one is created it will fail.

This is a regression as previously the permaname in such case was built up using the field id (ie: survey_f12). I created an instance and it is easy to reproduce.

1/ An error should be displayed in case of duplicate permaname (note about omitted chars)
2/ In case all the character of a label are omitted it will better to put back the id as it was on previous version
