Brand spanking new 5 RC-1 from svn. I applied the Personal Blog profile (which was advertised to have a calendar, but doesn't). Then I turned on the Calendar feature, then created a calendar and made an entry. This appears in the list view, but no Calendar view ever appears.

On an svn installation of 5.x (just upgraded to latest b2 version May 9th am) We do not see a calendar view, at all.

The list view works and the items are there, but clicking "Calendar View" button invokes the javascript and produces the process-working graphic briefly, but then a blank where the calendar view should be. No calendar.

Tried 5 ALive theme, Strasa, and the News. No calendar.

What could we be missing that the calendar does not appear in calendar view?

Bug:
*New all-day events are not created.

To reproduce:
*Create an event, select a start-day in the future, select "All-Day", and then save it.

Reason:
*The event doesn't get created because the end-day is before the start-time.

Problem:
*This is confusing for the user.
*No error message or warning is generated.

When creating (editing) some event and change start date to the value that is newer than end date, user must change end date manually

I have only one calendar and my users keep asking me what that Groups and Tools box is for. How 'bout a setting to hide this box?

When you want to add a new __Calendar__ by adding all the related information, for example __Name__ and __Description__ and when you click on __Save__, you are redirected to __tiki-admin_calendars.php#contenttabs_admin_calendars-1__ but the __Calendar__ is not created.
I was using Chrome Version 75.0 and Opera Version:60.0

Fact : when you submit "preview" for a new event, a great part of data are lost, there is no real preview, and when you return to creation most of optional data are lost.

Too many things don't function : the job is not ended.

I am newbie on this. I found the error/bug when I added an event on the 28th of February. Newly added event did not show up on the monthly calendar but shows up in the View List.

Maybe this is resolved on version 3. i don't know. Just downloaded v 3 but did not install yet.

As to priority well, its passed February now, but next year target date is enough time.

The fact (analysis result) : view from the popup od calendar module has no data set up

Details :
When you actions the into modules calendar the event from a date, you get the popup (if prefs) which shows the events of the day, then :

1- there is no choice for an event if an alone or several
2- the data of the event are not set up
3- the action button "view" shows a "pseudo empty event" the lonely data are the default value for a new event...

The function is not completely implemented. Job not ended. Functionality not operational.

It had no time to look at 6.0.

Calendar allows for event end to be before event start

also when asked for duration it asks for a time not an amount of time.

The class 'opaque calBox' from the calendar is broken. It is supposed to show the details of a calendar event, insted it shows raw Tiki syntax, in the case of a test event from admin on my site it is this that gets presented as text (!) to all users:

When you switch calendar into year mode, 23.0vcs immediately crashes with these errors:

Not sure if intentional, as I cannot remember if the calendar used to do this, but I noticed some odd behavior with date highlighting.

When you are adding a new event and select a new date, the selected date is not highlighted properly. You can click it multiple times and the date is input to the date line correctly, but the box representing the date is not highlighted.

But if you close the date selector and reopen it, the date you previously selected will be highlighted.

I think the expected behavior should be that when you click on a date it highlights.

When placing the mouse over an event in the calendar, a mousover popup comes up informing of the event's text and it's date/time (or duration .i.e. whole day). That is nice and comes in handy, thanks for that

But:
After those lines comes "created by" and then nothing. It can be debated whether or not the event's creator should be displayed, but even if some rule somewhere dictates that the creator is NOT to be displayed, then the line "created by" should IMHO also be omitted.

The dropdown selectors for "Start of day" and "End of day" are too narrow, as the screenshot shows. This is with Select2 activated. I didn't check yet when Select2 isn't being used.

On Month and Quarter Calendars, I have not managed to test semester. If the last day of the period is displayed in the bottom right corner of the grid it will not display any events. All other times it displays them.

It is not visible (no events are visible) as anonymous

Anonymous can:
Can browse the calendar (tiki_p_view_calendar)
Can view event details (tiki_p_view_events)

So they should see the events.

The calendar event "tentative/confirmed/cancelled" status display is broken. The admin can select one, and the radio button indicates that it is selected, but on the saved event page, all three options are displayed.

The "Tentative" status for a calendar event always reverts to "Confirmed" after it is saved.

Looking at the image you can see there is a weird way of showing the start and end time of the event. There doesn't seem to be a way to show normal start and end time of event.
These events are just coming from a calendar not a tracker etc..

There is currently no sanity check

Calendar Feature: When Add-ing an event a user is presented with options to pickup the Start date and End date, there is a calendar icon which is good. When picking up the hour and minute a user is presented with arrow down list. This is good if only a few events to be Add-ed. However, when a user enters a lot or its users task to enter say appointments for many events. It would be easier to be presented with a data entry screen like a spreadsheet: where columns and rows are arranged in such a way that there are arrows to move days or months or years say located at the top row, while the next rows are breakdown of days hours and minutes divided according to a setting of say every 5 minutes or 10 or 15 minutes. The benefit of these is where a user's daily job is only to enter so many events everyday, user simply look at the top row for say a date of a month and look on the left hand side where there are rows of hours divided in to say 5-minutes event/appointment, then looking at the right coordinates of date-hour-minute for the event, the user simply click/2xClick to open the coordinate then type/enter a description of an event. Its done! For example event is 30th of June 2013 at 7:30 a.m. User looks at the top row, either click arrows to get the future date, then look on the left hand side for the row-column of 7 a.m. and click 30 and enter the event description, does the same for another event.

I don't know if this is a feature to be added but i think this is great, makes data entry quick on high volume addition of events. Sorry i am not a programmer.
