I have duplicated this problem a couple times, but I can't figure out what is producing it.

When I create a tracker and assign admin privledges to it, I can see all of the field names at the top in tiki-view_tracker. However, when I log in as a non-admin user, tiki-view_tracker will display all the data, but the field names stop after about 6 fields. This is with explicitnames turned on.

For instance, if I have field
Name
Date
Time
Place
User
Hobbies
Children

Then Name, Date, Time, Place, User and Hobbies show up up in tiki-view_tracker, but the other headings disappear. I should note that when create and modif date are selected to be shown, these column names always show up too, but they will shift to be where the other column names should be, so they would be on top of Hobbies and Children, and then there are no heading for the create and modif date, as well as any other data that is displayed (all the data for these fields still shows up, but it doesnt have the field names above.

I have no idea why this is happening. I have explicit names and mirror tables set up for this tracker.

The field names always show up for any user logged in with admin privledges, but disappear for users who do not have admin privledges.

Any ideas why this is happening?

I made a tracker and get one of the user's group the permission to view this tracker only (by making local permissions only for that tracker).
So users of that group can view that tracker's items but when clicking to download one of the attachments, they only see a blank page.

if you enable user-task module and you are on URL with some querty, like http://server/tiki-index.php?page=xxxxx and you try to add new user taks, you will get errror

because the string which is created as action for form submit is wring

My categories have subcategories, and some of them have letters with accents (Spanish tilde, etc.)

To reproduce this bug:
1) Open Admin Groups Page
2) Number of Displayed Rows will default to 10
2) Change "Number of Displayed Rows" to 20
3) Hit Enter.
4) Additional Rows will display.
5) Add a Group.
6) Hit Save
7) Number of lines displayed changes back to 10.

When you create a new activity with numbers in the name, the numbers get removed in the generated files. For example, if I create an activity called 1, and then
I look in the "code" and "compiled" directory of processed, the file name with just be ".php".

If you set a numeric field with option : 0,4,₪ (that should display israely currency sign) and this field isMain (linked to the item) it work fine.

If you unset "isMain" (no link to the item) the sign deseaper !

Reproducted with other characters of course :)

This is in 1.9.8 only. In 1.9.7, On save the opening and closing hour of an event were moved to one hour later.

The X-Button in the title-bar of modules has following behaviour, when the module in question is set to "Assigned now, can't be unassigned":

- While in MyTiki -> Preferences: can't be unassigned, everything ok (sometimes gives an error-message)
- While on HomePage -> Module can be unassigned
- While on another Wiki-Page -> "Page not found - you want to create it?"
- While in Trackers -> Invalid variable value : trackerId = 1?mc_unassign="module-name-here"
- While in workflow -> Module can be unassigned

One can not put more then one RSS feed on a wiki page. Following patch fixes that.

Most of the time, comments (or forum threads) have less than 10 comments. Therefore, this box is not useful, and clutters the User Interface.

Selecting pages in the 1.9 result in the blank page. It takes several refreshes to get a page to come up. To my knowledge, none of the log files contains any error messages.

Everything was fine while I had 1.8.6 version. After upgrade to 1.9.3.1, I constantly have issues with blank pages and no error messages anywhere. Upgrade 1.9.4 didn't improve anything. It typically takes 2 to 3 refreshes to get the page. For any production site this would be a mission critical problem.

DIV so one can not define a style for displaying it for example in a box or ...

I discovered a problem where one of our users had created a page containing the words SeaMonkey in the description. When she later tried to link to this page with the syntax ((PageName|This is the link text)), the link broke, and tried to embed a link to create a new page titled SeaMonkey among other things. The cause of the problem, was that the description of the page she linked to, was inserted as the title of the <a>-tag.

Page: 1/0 happens when listings contain 0 items.

It is a harmless but ugly bug.



Also, while we are playing here, why is it that when:
{if $direct_pagination eq 'y'}
we see the standard pagination (prev/next) AND the direct (1) (2) (3), etc ?


It seems to me if everything fits on a page, no need to have a search (filter option) and no need to have pagination.

Changing order of parsing may not be best solution at this stage. changing urlencode to rawurlencode may also not be ideal. Need elegant solution.

Active Directory doesn't allow for anonymous searches of its structure. Instead, an username and password for an account with search access must be given when connecting.

PDF-generation does not work at all in Opera 9. The pdf generation page is shown, but when you click "create" nothing happens. I have check this for wiki pages and articles. I don't know if pdf-generation is available for other features.

I am working on setting up a tikiwiki in bulgarian language for internal usage.
I have made partial translation of the language to bulgaian (keeping the UTF-8 encoding)
The main encoding used in BG is windows-1251 (it sucks and is tottaly incompatible i know)
I have a very simple page which is in cyrilic (bulgarian) in the DB it is stored as UTF-8.
When trying to generate PDF the process passes just fine. The only problem is that all non english text is seen as question marks.

I have tried changing te WinAnsiEncoding to builtin in class.pdf.php, but that doesn't help. If you need i will provide a samples from WinAnsiEncoding and builtin

All suggestion's appreciated

phpBB is a popular open source forum software.
Sometimes, a forum is not enough.
So, the data must be migrated from phpBB to Tiki forums...

If you want to help:
Please post links to similar scripts.
ex.: phpbb to invision board, etc
If/when we do a script, we should do for all major forums.

I have almost completed an integrated TikiWiki forum migration tool for 1.9.8.x and 1.10. Initial release will be to migrate only Tiki forums from one Tiki install to another. However, hooks are in place, and the intention is there, to work on extending the migration tool to importing of phpBB2 (or any other forum software) into Tiki. I expect a general release of the forum migration tool (for Tiki forums only) into cvs of both branches for beta testing by December 1/07. When I set the homepage in Administration: General Preferences to "Articles" (which is what I want the homepage to be for both anonymous and registered visitors), the initial viewing for "anonymous" displays a homepage of "wiki".

When I set the homepage in Administration: General Preferences to Group homepage and then set the two group homepages to a typed-in "Articles" in the empty field and then log in as any user, the display is "No page 'Articles' found".

When I set the homepage in Administration: General Preferences to Group homepage and then set the two group homepages to a custom URL (http://www.progressiveomaha.com/tikidir/tiki-view_articles.php), the display is "no such page found".

One day I thought maybe the problem had to do with using Firefox on a Linux box, because my ancient Windows 98/IE machine brought up 'Articles' as the home page.

The next day both machines bring up the Wiki page as the home page. This is with the homepage set to 'Articles' in Admin-General.

Maybe I should be clear that I am refering to which page is brought up when TikiWiki is first accessed (from www.progressiveomaha.com/tikidir/).external link Once I have logged in as a user, I will access the 'Articles' homepage whether returning as another user or as anonymous. The problem only occurs on that initial anonymous access, and only after TikiWiki has had time to "forget" any earlier logons by that user.
