lang/de/language.php causes a "Cannot modify header information" PHP error

We recently upgraded from Tiki-4.X to Tiki-5.X. We are running Tiki-5.3.

There seems to be a bug when trying to modify a user under the administration page (tiki-adminusers.php). When trying to click on a user, one is asked to confirm (which is a new workflow) and then taken to the Edit User page. However, when one tries to modify something (e.g. password, email address), you are asked to confirm again, but it never completes.

Here is a set of detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
# Go to admin users (tiki-adminusers.php)
# Click on user "demo"
# Click "Click here to confirm your action"
# Change email address from demo@demo.com to demo@demo.org
# Click "Save"
# Click "Click here to confirm your action"
* Nothing happens. The page address is "tiki-adminusers.php#", but it never changes from the confirm action page. "Go Back" does not work, but "Return to Home Page" does.

I installed Tiki 5.3 from Fantastico and then ran the setup script.

I was able to create some new users and assign them to groups.

The problems manifested when I attempted to change the default admin password and the password that I forgot for one of the new users.

Upon clicking "Edit Account Settings" next to the user, tiki-adminusers.php is displayed with the user number (e.g. tiki-adminusers.php?user=3).

There are three buttons, clicking the one to "confirm" the action causes tiki-adminusers to display a form for editing the password, email, etc. for the user.

"Saving Changes" causes tiki-admin users to again present the three buttons, this time without any user number on the URL.

Clicking to "Confirm" adds a "#" sign to the end of the URL, but nothing seems to happen.

The original password is unchanged and other values entered on the form are unchanged.

WHen the Jqui - dbldt theme is active, the login box is gone.

Wiki Page properties "Show Page Title" Off

When choosing to turn off page titles on a per page basis by page properties and toggling Show Page Title to Off, this action has no effect on the wiki page title, the title still displays.

I have a comment on a wiki page. When I click Reply to post a follow-up comment, I get an error. It looks like the Reply button is generating a bad URL:

__Not Found

The requested URL /mywiki/page=IVR_Revitalization&post_reply=1&comments_threshold=0&comments_reply_threadId=5&comments_offset=0&thread_sort_mode=commentDate_asc&comments_per_page=20&comments_grandParentId=0&comments_parentId=5&thread_style=commentStyle_plain was not found on this server.__

This would be a show stopper using Tiki threaded comments is very important feature requirement for us.

Hello,

we are using some structures for making a toc page. If i add a page since we have updated to 12.1 i can put it in the list and move it to the right position. But if i click on the save button nothing happens. The progress cycle appears and nothing happens. In this structure we have about 50-100 pages.

I've created a new structure and added one page i could save it too.

If you could reproduce this issue in a show.t.o instance atached to your bug report, maybe some developer might be able to give it a chance to debug it.
(it's beyond my skills, but others might give it a shot)

Sorry - just spotted that this bug ===has already been reported as #2141=== but hopefully the additional information provided here will help resolve this more quickly.

You can no longer set/change the meta robots setting in Meta Tags Admin ie the NOROBOTS, NOFOLLOW settings

When you fill in the form field and click the Change Settings button the field blanks and viewing the HTML page source code shows that nothing has happened. The "revisit after" field works fine however.

Old 1.9 sites work fine and sites that have migrated through to 2.2 from 1.9 have their old values preserved but they cannot be changed. New 2.2 sites cannot have the setting established.

Examining the database for a new site shows that the metatag_robots row in the tiki_preferences table is missing. Hacking the table to add the row with appropriate values allows the appropriate HTML code to be generated in the head section of each page BUT the admin form still does not work.

Have also now spotted that ticking any of the Meta keywords options e.g the "Insert freetags in keyword list" and changing the settings does seem to set that option BUT the tick box is then blanked and then there is no way to 'untick' the option or you are not sure if it has been set or not.

We have a registered user X with right tiki_p_modify_tracker_items.
X tries to update a field using the tracker wiki plugin, and fails.
"You do not have permission to modify an item"
Please review my correction proposal. I am rather new with both php and TW.

In tikiwiki 2.2, I created a file gallery and then attempted to upload a file. Set to save in database.

With memory_limit in php.ini set to 32M, the upload page says max file size is limited to 4MB. I can upload files that are smaller than 1 MB, but files larger than 1MB produce the PHP error message:

If I set the memory_limit to 64 MB, the upload page says max file size is limited to 15MB. If I try to upload a file larger than 1 MB, PHP generates the error:

Cannot upload images to file galleries on tiki.org anymore?

Wanted to upload simple little png screenshot but got:

Error
Data too long for column 'name' at row 1

Tried both the elFinder UI
and https://tiki.org/tiki-upload_file.php too

Under the uploaded preview thumbnail there appears also this message:
File upload failed: Forbidden

Ah, it seems only when I rename the screenshot file to something __really really short__ it works then:

The name should not be limited to such a low number of characters, should it? If yes, then it should state clearly before uploading that the file name has a limit to not confuse users...

I can't succeed at my attempt to use Record RTC since the wiki page gets self-refreshed each time I click at the button to "Start Recording" before I can accept the firefox popup that asks me to grant perm to this page to record/use media or something (I can't read the message properly since the page is self-reloaded too quickly)

Any action that requires an confirmation results in a Ajax call with a popup menu. This does not work in Safari.

To reproduce:

Modify a "registered" group, and click save. There is a confirmation page, that does not have any buttons to confirm the charge.

I'm encountering an issue when i click on a tracker (from tracker list) and im getting a blank page. or whenever i click to view or edit tracker.

On inspect element (network) the GET request for the tracker have a 500 status every time i click on a tracker.

When we check the option "Apply role permissions to sub-categories", it produces an error

If you use the categories mod, the trees have identical tags, such that a toggle of a tree node only toggles the node for the category in the module, and not the main category tree in the center column.

Clicking on Hide Categories while editing a page makes everything including the "Show Categories" link go away, making it impossible to bring back the category list or categorize a page.

When an image or file gallery is categorized the title & description are added to the tiki_categorized_objects table BUT if the title or description is then edited and changed this change does not get made to the fields in the tiki_categorized_object table. This means that when the objects are shown in the Browse Category function (or using the Category Plugin) then the 'old' title and description are shown.

I think I've verified this in the 'clean install' area and by direct examination of my own databases using phpMyAdmin.

If you want to ad multiple pages to a category and they are outside those 25 pages it is posible to search them with filter but you will need to search those pages one by one to ad them.

Seems filter part of page name gives 0 results.

the button "insert internal link" (on the WYSIWYG-editor) doesn't work.

it opens a new window "local.php not found — This is normal if you have not run the tiki installer yet".
