Wish plugin (alias of PluginTrackerItemField) to have special class depending on open/closed/pending
on dev.tikiwiki.org, we have a custom syntax ~np~{wish id=1234}~/np~ to get information about a wish.

This shows the description of the wish, with a hyperlink.

This uses ((doc:PluginTrackerItemField)). If you are a Tiki admin, you can see the config here:
http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-admin.php?page=textarea&plugin_alias=wish

This is very very useful.

How, how could we indicate that a bug is solved? (ex.: on ((Tiki4))

If bug is solved, could it have a relevant class (ex.: special color, crossed out, etc.)?

14.x & 12.x LTS: Screencast (jCapture) needs a new valid certificate (as of September 2015 at least)
Tested with:
* Java Plug-in 10.80.2.15
* Using JRE version 1.7.0_80-b15 Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM

I had to manually set the security settings in the Java Web Start (Java Control Panel) to __Medium__ ("Least secure setting"). They seem to come by default with __High__ security ("Minimum recommended"), which doesn't allow to run java apps with untrusted, or invalid certificates; it could be even worse, with the "Very High" setting).

{img fileId="1004" thumb="y" rel="box[g]"}

Same issue in a 12.x LTS site, or with a 14.x site (both updated recently through svn)

{img fileId="1005" thumb="y" rel="box[g]"}

Once that java security setting was changed to Medium, I was able to see the jCapture applet as usual, once I acceped the popup window indicating that it was a security risk to accept to run that java application, etc. (this will frighten most users, imo)

{img fileId="1006" thumb="y" rel="box[g]"}

FYI, Java console says:

15.x: Allow running console.php to apply profiles from behind a proxy (to run new R script to check errors when testing the application on all Profiles on several tiki branches)
Hi:

I've set up an R script (.Rmd: with R markdown to be run through Knitr) to check the application of all Tiki Profiles (the ones available in the Profiles Wizard since Tiki12, at least) on several tiki branches on your own localhost, to search for error messages, and aggregate that information for easy monitoring. It can be extended to send an email when regressions show up, etc.
I developed that over the weekend from home, and even if in beta stage, it currently works.
See: https://github.com/xavidp/TikiProfilesTester

However, I cloned the git repo at work, where we are behind a proxy, and console.php cannot apply profiles from there through the commandline. Through the GUI I always have to add the proxy info to Tiki first in order to be able to list profiles and apply them , etc.

(1) No way to login at dev.t.o or doc.t.o, for instance, when browsing the page in the smartphone
(tested with Chrome on Android, but it seems to be reproduced with a browser on a desktop and making it narrow enough as a smartphone)

(2) There is no logo nor site name displayed in the top header of most *.t.o sites. OTher (non-tiki) bootstrap websites do display their logo and name when shown through smartphone. IS tehre anything that can be done in the Tiki side to fix this?

(3) Fullscreen button is shown on top of the button at the top layer to display the logo and site name. Therefore, clicking there, fires the fullscreen in some cases. And when in full screen, in a smartphone, I couldn't come back to normal display mode clicking at that button in the smartphone for some reason, I had to fix the param in the url to get back to normal.

(4) The submenu is not shown in dev.t.o and doc.t.o but it is shown in themes.t.o Why? How shall we edit the submenus so that they are shown in the smartphone display?

15.x+: Expose back preference filters on Admin UI for new tiki admins
Please, whoever introduced the UI change that did hide the preference filters, please, please, please, expose them back to new tiki admins, since there are tons of support requests in many tiki sites out there about new site admins (even experienced php developers) not finding the preferences that they are looking for in the Control Panels, also following the documentation pages in doc.t.o about them, etc.

This is also affecting people creating show.t.o instances to report bugs and not finding the preferences, etc.

I tried myself but it was beyond myskills when I had a quick look at that, and I was fearing to break some tpl/css, so I'd rather leave ir for an aexperienced UI developers, or even better, to whoever introduced this usability regression (back in Tik1i3 or 14 days, probably?)

articles needs aids to fight spam (e.g. admins see tiki-list_submissions.php at info.tw.o)
I looked today at http://info.tikiwiki.org/tiki-list_submissions.php and there are nearly 300 spam submissions there so far, and no way to delete them in groups. Maybe that's why nobody noticed my prior submission as info.tw.o editor from last month...

(the user need to be in info.tw.o Admin group in order to see the spam list. If your users is just in the info.tw.o_editors group, you'll see nothing but your own submissions if any.)

A text box to select the amount of rows to be listed would be welcome, and multiple checkboxes to select some or all, like with users, etc.

By the way, how can anonymous spammers post submissions to info.tw.o? They can't through http://info.tikiwiki.org/tiki-edit_submission.php (at least, nowadays)... Spam hole somewhere?

A backup script that can be put on a cron job to save to a distant backup server
The Tiki backup format is: http://doc.tiki.org/TRIM#make_backup

Todo:
* Set up backup server (could be using a *.tiki.org domain name)
* Nelson to provide a script for Marc to run on a cron job on each *.tiki.org sites that he is hosting.
** For security reasons, could be a good thing that this backup script can add only (and thus, that a compromised server can't be used to erase all our data)
* For the other servers managed by leu, changi and oliver, give them the same script or use an alternate method which provides the same result.
* Provide access to those backups to Jonny and LPH as they are needed to solve dogfood bugs, and they are great for performance testing.

If the script fails, there should be an alert to the Monitoring system (the community one managed by Tiki). So the script should signal some sort of success to Shinken instance we have.

Add a grid / masonry display for the profiles in the Profiles Wizard with filters
We have plenty of profiles ready for new users to learn new skills within Tiki, but we fail in the way we allow filtering them for a new tiki admin: it should be easier and more visual, imho.

We should add some sort of ((Grid)) or masonry display (like flash cards) plus some fast filtering based on tags that the user adds. I wonder if the isotope filtering from masonry could be hacked to allow filtering by profile tags. See:
https://isotope.metafizzy.co/
(from the same author of https://masonry.desandro.com/ )
