When you publish a blog post using an upcoming publish date, post appears right away in last_blog_posts module even if the publish date is stll in the future.

Blue Alert box after saving a tiki page stays on top of "Wiki top line location" when it`s on the top position , making it difficult to close the alert. Its because the alert div is rendered after the top line, and they stack. (lack of a clear property?)

I use this custom JS to make it work: $('#col1 > .pull-right').insertAfter('#col1 > .alert.alert-info.alert-dismissable');

Tested in a trunk show instance, and everything seems right. Maybe it has been fixed in the trunk? Can we make it to te 15.x?

If you are in the doc.tiki.org side and edit a page, try to do a preview.

You won't be able to.

I tried in other universes and the preview option works fine.

If there is a comma in the URL (testet in the Wiki-Module), the link isn't complete clickable.

Only the part before the comma is linked. Everything after the comma in the URL is shown as normal text in the TikiWiki.

I know, commas should not be part of an URL, but there are many webages out there, how have this.

This bug is testet on TikiWiki 2.2 and 3.0

Here an example of a broken link:

But when you use "external Link Icon" with ~091~ Link~124~ Descripton ~093~ That will work.

When an H5P project is inserted into a wiki page, the browser url takes on the name of the H5P project application. Specifically with SEF url enabled.

For example, if I create an H5P project, then I insert it into a wiki page by

The browser tab no longer shows the wiki page name such as Wiki|Fubar Page
Instead the browser tab will display Wiki|h5p_file_name

Here is a screen capture of my user case, I created an H5P project for collages. I name my new H5P project home_page_collage and saved it to the file gallery.

Using the syntax above, I inserted the collage into my wiki home page to display a group of images. Once the H5P project was inserted and saved into my home page wiki, the browser tab started displaying the H5P project file name, instead of Wiki|HomePage. See screen capture of error in browser tab.

On Tiki 18 and 19

On Trackers when you insert a tracker field type file you can (have to?) select a gallery for your files. It is the gallery where files you upload using this field will be saved. You have also an option to "browse" if you want the user to be able to select a file from your files gallery.

When editing an item you can then browse a gallery but the modal show ALL the files in the complete files gallery. It should show (by default or restricted) the files from the selected gallery.

One of the wizards displays one particular bubble help beginning WAY off the browser window, that is Random Header Images on /templates/wizard/profiles_useful_micro_confs.tpl. It starts a couple of hundred pixels outside the browser window, which means that all lines start with invisible (!) sentence beginnings... This is so far the only bubble help that starts off-screen, the others behave normally.

After updating tikiwiki3.3 to 4.1, the following fails to load

/tiki-admin_polls.php and
/tiki-wiki_rss.php?ver=2

I checked memory and execution time therefore the problem due to this is ruled out. Problem must be somewhere which I could not figure out.

Time does not show correctly while date is perfect. It needs me to set time of publication of articles manually.

The module since your last visit does not work properly.

On my part I reinstalled it several times but errors persists.

I've spotted a bug on the forums.

* then I end up with being only able to see the original post (which created the thread) and the last answer

When I'm going in the data-base table "tiki-comments", the only difference I can see between the thread being in the 2 different locations (forumId=1 and forumId=2) is the number in the "object" column. This column looks to be used for indicating to which forumId the message belong to. So, if I'm changing the number of this "object" column to the relevant forumId number, then it makes it working as expected (ie: showing all the messages in the thread).

===My conclusion:=== it looks like there is then a bug in the function used to move one thread from a forumID=x to a forumID=y, which somehow does not handle correctly the changes needed in the "object" column of the "tiki-comments" table.

When a bug has been reported on dev.tikiwiki.org, the completion page http://dev.tikiwiki.org/your+wish+has+been+cast has a box which used to show the submitted report. Although the "LAST ITEMS" box is present, it is empty.

Updating an article, there is a problem of images not saved when the Tiki interface is in French, image disappear from the article.

The problem do not occur when the interface is in English or other language.

I have yet id3127 id3148 explained the problems of the bug and wishes list.

I returns on the subject :
*before if you were clicking on the column headers, which function is to allow to sort the displayed list, you where generating a crash by an SQL request error.
Somebody have done something.

*Now : When you use this feature the list is simply cleared (if error then return).

Either this tool is without any interest for development or not at all.
If it is without interest it must be suppressed...
if not it must normally function even simply.
Actually the function are very simple but they don't functions.

If it is, anybody can understand that the impossibility to sort a list which is always displayed as playing card poker, makes impossible any revue of a subject.

This is the main problem.

*Display the "id" and the "author"
*Display a full date (the day)
*Allow a direct access by the "id"
*Allow selection by check box and display only checked items
*Send by mail the current list
*Optionally send by mail the content of an id

Even though logged in, clicking on http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=2538&trackerId=5&show=view (which came up as a result of a bug search) results in the user being told "Error - Permission denied"

This should probably not be possible.

The description of control panels is nearly unreadable when using the business theme due to insufficient contrast. The text is a light gray on a white background.

For example, as can be seen in the attached screenshot, in tiki-admin.php?page=look, the description "Theme selection, layout settings and UI effect controls" is almost unreadable.

This happens in 15.x as of r60042 and affected trunk.

Removing the color property for the rule on class help-block solves, but that class is used in numerous places.

I have installed TikiWiki 3rc1 on an IIS (Windows Server 2003) installation with PHP 5 and MySQL. This is a root-level installation. For some reason having to change PATH_TRANSLATED to SCRIPT_FILENAME in line 31 of lib/setup/tikisetup.class.php, which if I don't do I get errors relating to directories not existing and the site not loading at all; this is not the purpose of the support request.

Once I make these tweaks, as well as after setting the tweaks identified in tiki-filter-base.php (that is, changing forward slashes to double-backslashes in quotes), I get the site up and running. ***But*** on administration pages, the buttons created by lib/smarty_tiki/function.button.php (such as "CLEAR CACHE" on the Modules admin page) don't seem to work when accessing the site from Safari or Firefox (Internet Explorer works fine for this).

Instead, in Safari, the clicking on the button will load the script name where the domain name is supposed to go; if my site was on http://site.com/somescript.php?something, it would load http://otherscript.php?something. I don't have my machine handy, so I can't get the Firefox results up at the moment, but IIRC they involved the format http://site.com/\/otherscript.php?something (with a backslash and forward-slash inserted).

A Linux installation of TW3 works fine in Safari and Firefox, so my guess is that it's an IIS issue that has something to do with backslashes and root-directory determination, but I'm somewhat clueless here. I've examined lib/smarty_tiki/block.self_link.php and some tweaking there has produced no viable results.

Also note that this goes away when TikiWiki 3 is placed into a non-root directory; it only affects a root installation at /, rather than at a server subdirectory.

Button plugin is asking for plugin approval on templates each time a page is open for the first time.

This is a pain when you use a template to display items, customSearch, etc.
It is like I have to scan all the Tiki possible pages and mass approved the plugin changes.

I’m extensively using wiki page as template (list, listExecute, customSearch) and have several project built that way (not using smarty templates).

It has been discussed that this was introduced in Tiki16 and so far not fixed.

At the last step in the tiki installer, site admin is offered to enter tiki with or without locking it . The two buttons to choose those actions overlap, and not all text from the second button can be read. Even in standard computer screens (not narrow)

The wikiplugin buttons labels are not translated.
This force users to add more code to manage it.
* Use the HTML wikiplugin and use duplicate set of buttons for each language.
* Use the LANG wikiplugin with duplicates set of buttons per language.

Not very elegant...

Due to (I guess) change in the calculation field, the if condition or the way the index is rebuilt a previous condition to perform a calculation stopped to work and interfere with the rebuild index operation.

The "if" here was checking if there is a value in the field "timeworkDateIn" to avoid a different error (Divide by zero on "0") that was displayed to the visitor of the site. After I upgrade this Tiki20 to Tiki21 I got an error on rebuild index:

I have a field that calculate time from 2 dates field to set a work clock.
Worker enter when he come to work and when he get out.
The calculation is done on save so data are updated constantly and the user can see results in real time.

It was working fine on Tiki20.

Since I upgraded to Tiki21 it has stopped to work.
(on the sample a new employee entered 3 row after the Tiki was upgraded)

trackeritem 53 is an old work clock item (closed).
The calculation was ok and all field looked ok.
I edited and saved and had the following error:

Retested on the same Tiki still on version 20 (I kept for test) and there it is working fine.
(calculaltion are made, indexing is ok)

I escalated the bug to upgrade blocker.
If something corrupt a working index or block Tiki from indexing then it just kill the website (IMO).

Above I see that the operation stopped very early, trackeritem 53 (I have more than 1500 trackeritems).
It stopped because it couldn’t find the field "timeworkDateIn" during a calculation.

I have 2 calculation field that use the same field "timeworkDateIn"
If I keep the first one and remove the second it work:

*New all-day events are not created.

To reproduce:
*Create an event, select a start-day in the future, select "All-Day", and then save it.

Reason:
*The event doesn't get created because the end-day is before the start-time.

Problem:
*This is confusing for the user.
*No error message or warning is generated.

I have only one calendar and my users keep asking me what that Groups and Tools box is for. How 'bout a setting to hide this box?

Fact : when you submit "preview" for a new event, a great part of data are lost, there is no real preview, and when you return to creation most of optional data are lost.
