If you change a listing, like on the Wishlist, and change sorting order, the URL gets an additional mention of the sort order.

But it's reversed, compared to the actual setting. So if you want to sort the Wishlist by modification date, descending (which IMHO should be the default), so the latest are listed at the top, the URL states

We have a few places where with placeholders and help text for link that shows "http://".
They should display more modern link usage: "https://".

User have no idea maintenance is underway when they are editing a page.
Admin (or an automated task) have no idea if users are working on a page before staring a disrupting maintenance task.

This is a pain, annoying and really bad for Tiki when after several minutes editing a page on save the user see the maintenance screen.

Due to the way Tiki security check work, reloading the page doesn't work.

The Webmail and Cypth connection small alert and feedback (not the real usual Tiki verbose) are hidden under the top navbar when using the Classic Bootstrap layout.

There is mis-alignment of the dropdown structure navigation carets and the structure page names. See the attachment for details.

If you toggle right module to close it with the new centre switch and then try to use the functions on the dropdown edit menu the wikipage just scrools for a bit then stops but does not carry out any of the edit actions like "toggle edit icons".
I'm using firefox 108 on ubuntu 22

Gary I was able to use a different theme "Cyborg". To get different themes working in 25.x you have to associate the theme with a category or section of tiki.
I was able to see that the dropdown items menu with the edit wiki page toggle is under the table of contents of the wiki page so clicking on the area where the toggle edit icons is you are actually clicking on one of the TOC items.

Hi. I wasn't able to remove a wiki page that had an attachment. I've tried it with the button "More" at the bottom of the page, and "Remove" in there. There was a message telling me, that the last revision of the page has been removed, but it was still there. After I removed the attachment, which the page had, it worked.

After last commits from Victor and Jonny I could test Markdown on a Tiki25 updated from a previous Tiki24 site.

On the edit I tested (on Chrome) with single return (enter on the keyboard, with shift-enter, etc...).
Displayed page is a bit far from user expectation;

Automatic table of contents, Wiki auto-toc enable (tiki-admin.php?page=wiki)
With the per page table of content selector set to No.

On this page the table of content shouldn't be displayed, instead a broken version of the table of content is displayed at the top of the page.

If the page properties says that the Table of content display is set to no, then it shouldn't be displayed.
If, on the Admin control panel I disable Automatic table of contents, Wiki auto-toc enable the table of content is not displayed.

When you edit a very long content and or you want to test your editing preview is not always as handy as opening the page in a second tab or a second browser.

In both case, being able to save (as you go) while staying in editing mode would be a great option.

May be there is such option somewhere (I recall something in the WYSIWYG toolbar) but, it is not available out of the box from the main button bar (Preview, Save, cancel).

That would really help people with the "timeout" and loss of content when they are editing a very long page with a lot of content.

At tiki-listpages.php if you delete a page using the wrench action item "Remove" you won't see the result till you reload the page.
It happens in some other places, see the related.

Tested on a fresh Tiki master.

When my wiki page description is exactly 200 latin characters an alert popup:
"You have reached the number of characters allowed (200 max) for the description field"
When I remove one character (so total is 199) no alert.

In all cases the Description is saved as is which the limitation ineffective.

I tested the wikiplugin author on a fresh Tiki26: https://doc.tiki.org/PluginAuthor

When hovering the text inserted I can see a popup (not very nice) and the popup is unstable.
There are a few similar option in Tiki and using bootstrap.

Using this wikiplugin leaves the impression it has not been improved in time as it should have.

As it is visible on the doc page too, the plugin should display a popup and it is not working.

About the fields, Make Visible is a bit unclear and not documented.

Tested on a Tiki25 instance and a Tiki26 site.

Creating a new page (e.g. -+Foo+- through the form in the wiki structure top bar produces a missleading error message:

On a Tiki23, I can activate the "Revision approval" feature for Wiki Pages at -+tiki-admin.php?page=wiki#contentadmin_wiki-3+-
Admin => Wiki page => Flagged Revision => Revision approval

This function then requires the user to select the categories that will be governed by this feature using the field "Revision approval categories".

This is workable if you have a few categories (like 10 or 20). However, if you have many categories and subcategories, it becomes very complicated and hard to understand how to manage them.

To add to the confusion, there is an "invisible" limit on the number of categories that will be displayed. By default, you will see only 50 category results because of the setting:
Look&Feel => Navigation => Limits => Maximum number of records in listings: 50

It is very hard to understand why you don't see all the categories if you are not a super power user.

On a Wiki page by default you have a Wiki top line with location set to top that display on the Wiki page a small menu with "Edit icons" (off by default).

On a Tiki24 after checking it "Edit icons" is off, I set Wiki top line location to "Neither".
No group can see the menu and the "Edit icons" are not displayed.

On a Tiki25 after checking it "Edit icons" is off, I set Wiki top line location to "Neither".
Anonymous and Registered won't see the "Edit icons" however admin is __forced__ to see them.
It is very unfortunate as it often break design of pages in Tiki.

This is a change of behavior.
The only way then to hide them is to go to /tiki-admin.php?page=textarea#contentadmin_textarea-2 and under "Edit plugin icons" disable "Allow plugin-specific edits".

Will be hard for a non power user to know what to do to "counter" this change in Tiki.

After saving the edit to a wiki page you get the usual Success Alert at the top of the page. I think in previous versions this used to disappear after 3~5 seconds. Instead you have to close it manually. I think this item should be timed to disappear after a few seconds.

Using the wiki plugins mediaplayer, webdocviewer or googleDoc we can display PDF and documents from many sources.
Almost everything BUT not PDF document stored on a google drive.

We need to add an option in one of our plugins to allow user to do so.

On a Tiki23 I set a group (admin groups) to have a membership expiration date.

Even if permissions are set correctly (tiki_p_edit) (tiki_p_edit_structures) not all groups will see the structure "Add page" field on the top of the page.

For example, registered (group that exist by default in Tiki) will see the field. A group I create, and with the correct permissions won't see the same "Add page" field.
