No linebreak in Ajax Preview of a page
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} If you have a clean tiki 6.1 install, the default preview is made with some kind of ajax include above the edit area. but this preview has no linebreaks in it. if you disable this and have the "standard" (like in tiki 3.x) preview you have linebreaks in the preview |

non-Admin users cannot assign Category or see the Category tab when editing wiki pages
My users, sub-Admins, Editors, and registered users cannot edit any wiki page(s) because they cannot see the Category tab when editing any wiki page. Any edits are not saved. The wiki says a Category is mandatory, even if the page being edited is already Categorized. |

Not possible anymore to save a page with an HTML plugin at dev.t.o (related to tikimaillib and webmail)
It is not possible anymore to save a wiki page (or a tracker item) with an HTML plugin. Go to : Add the following code on the page: {CODE()} {HTML()} <h1>Youppi</h1> {HTML} {CODE} Save and you will see this error: {CODE()} The code plugin failed to accept it as code so I had to copy the error in a textfile and attach it {CODE} {file type="gallery" fileId="1632" showicon="y"} |

Offline Tiki: add a way to save/view content offline
The Export feature is nice, but it would be nice to export/save wiki pages with html formatting intact. A way to edit offline then sync changes would be even better, but for now, I'd settle for a way to just view pages offline. ML: You can ((doc:mail-in)) and ((doc:watch)) (mail-out), but no true sync XML-RPC? IMAP? http://www.socialtext.net/help-en/index.cgi?working_offline_with_unplugged See: ((Offline)) Would be really nice to combine with an encrypted password manager for offline storage -> ((User Encryption)) |

Orphan pages should be optional (right now, they use feature_listPages)
Many times, I don't want the Orphan page feature. But I do want the list pages. Since they now use the same option (feature_listPages), it's annoying. Let's create feature_OrphanPages (off on a clean install). Menu items will need an update. |

Unified Search Engine MFTS fails for any content (was 'Page alias not found by search')
I have a wiki site called "Peter Pan" I include a page alias ~tc~(alias(Miki Mouse))~/tc~ Now I search for "Miki" Result: Found "Miki" in 0 pages. That's not what I found in the docs. There it says that the search is supported since tiki4 How can I solve that problem? --- Edit {sign user="xavi" datetime="2015-02-02T10:53:28+00:00"}: After confirming same issue in a trunk show instance also, I renamed bug to __'Unified Search Engine MFTS fails for any content'__ (from __'Page alias not found by search'__), and increased the importance to "9". Thanks agian hans for submitting this bug report in the first instance. --- |

Page comments fail when page name contains a comma
When a page contains a comma, like ''comatose, is not the correct word'' the whole comments below page section is invisible in tiki14x. So there is no way of creating a page comment. This worked fine in Tiki9 This was buggy in a different way in Tiki12: the comment section shows up, so commenting is possible and the comment is available in the comments management page, but the comment is not linked to the page, so it does not show up below the page afterwards. |

Page description of wiki page disappears either after approval or when editing an approved page
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} I'm using staging and approving wiki pages and recognized, that the page description disappears under some conditions. I tried to find out this "some conditions" and hope to give sufficient informations: * First a user or admin creates a new (wiki) page with description. * The page is saved as staging page with the description. * If the page is edited before approval (by user or admin), the description remains in the field. * If the page is approved by an approver (= user with permission), the description remains in the field, too. * If the page is approved by admin, the description is away. * If the approved page with a description (equal, if approved by an approver or by admin with rewriting of the description) is reopened for edit, the page description field is blank. With "page description disappears" I mean, that a) the description is not saved when approving the page by admin and b) the description field prior filled with a description is then blank, when the page is opened for editing (after approval). __TikiWiki version:__ * 2.1 new installation __Staging and approval settings:__ __Group permissions:__ Anonymous tiki_p_view tiki_p_view_categorized Registered tiki_p_wiki_view_history tiki_p_wiki_view_source Editors tiki_p_view_categories tiki_p_lock tiki_p_minor Approvers tiki_p_rename tiki_p_rollback __Category permissions:__ Staging Registered : tiki_p_view_categorized Registered : tiki_p_edit_categorized Editors : tiki_p_view_categories Approved Anonymous : tiki_p_view_categorized Editors : tiki_p_view_categories Approvers : tiki_p_edit_categorized __Wiki staging settings:__ Use wiki page staging and approval : yes Category for staging pages : Staging Category for approved pages : Approved Category for pages out of sync : none (see group settings above) Force bounce of editing of approved pages to staging : yes Delete staging pages at approval : yes If not in the group, edit is always redirected to the staging page edit : Approvers __Group settings:__ Default category assigned to uncategorized objects edited by a user with this default group : Registered : Staging Editors : Staging Approvers : Approved __Other Wiki settings:__ Page description: activated/checked History only for data, description, comment change: not checked Individual cache: I tried with and without activating/checking - no difference |

Page description, when activated, is always used in browser title display mode
{syntax type="tiki" editor="plain"} The page description always displays in the browser tab even if I switch to another option - "Most-specific first", "Least-specific first (site)", or "Current" for "Browser title display mode" on tiki-admin.php?page=general. The only way to get one of the other options to work is to turn off wiki page description. I increased the importance of fixing this because I think it's important for the wiki page description feature to work without glitches, and having the page description text in the page's browser tab could stop some sites from using the feature. |

Page Editor Highlighter prevents edit-zone scrolling
see attachment If the code highlighter is enabled you cannot scroll the edit-zone or even click on any text in there. You have to toggle the highlighter off to exit the wiki-page. If you turn on Full WYSIWYG EDITOR, the exit-zone goes blank you can check this on the try for free servers version 26. WYSIWYG does not work In the screen grab I highlight that the scroll handle is visible when the highlighter is disabled but it vanishes when the highlighter is enabled. |

Page title with a dot in it isn't rejected properly
Hi. When I make a link to a not yet existing page, with a dot in the page's name, I get this: {INDENT()}No route found. Please see http://dev.tiki.org/URL+Rewriting+Revamp{INDENT} The problem is, that the page with the unallowed character (the dot) ''gets created'', but it can't be retrieved. Trying so results in the above error message. So the new page can't be removed either. Page names with invalid characters should be rejected. |

18.x Structures can create bad pages names
A user typo whilst creating a structure can create a new page which then isn't (easily) accessed. Whilst creating a new structure and adding pages with aliases using the "Tree" feature, if hyphen space greater-than rather than simply hyphen greater-than is entered the new page is created without an alias but with a longer that expected page name. For example Test_01 -> Page1 creates new page called Test_01 and alias Page1 as expected. But Test_02 - > Page2 creates a new page called "Test_02 - > Page2" with no alias. Accessing this page and removing it is challenging :-)) --(Can't currently create a show instance for you, no database connection available, but I can reproduce this on the demo 18x/system)-- Using the Structures "next page" button from page Test_01 causes a wiki error "Page not found" for "Test_02 - Page2" (sic without greater-than sign). Likewise wikilink from toc generated on pages within the structure also results in "Page not found". Adding the plugin listpages with options find="Test_0" to the root of the structure shows the pages as expected. Note the wikilink URLs generated by toc and listpages are different, but wikilink from listpages also results in the same "Page not found error" for the same page "Test_02----Page2" |
