These both link to tracker5 - has this tracker taken a different ID?

dev.tw.o: Sorting items from trackerlist plugin doesn't work for anons due to some conflict with the wiki cache. Example:

both pages show the same sorting on date (for instance) if the user is not logged, but the sorting works if you are logged.

dev.tw.o: users apparently can delete their tracker items but they are not deleted and no message

To reproduce:
* Log in as normal user to dev.tw.o (without admin perms) (ot test with user "xavi" if you prefer).
* report a bug/wish
* edit it in order to see the edit form
* click on the red cross to delete it
* after that, you are shown the list of tracker items, as if your tracker item was already deleted. No message indicating any problem is shown. However, the tracker item is not deleted.

selection of category fields in tracker items is lost when you re-edit the item.

inserting tracker items in dev.tw.o works fine (through ((Report a bug)) and directly through [tracker5]. However, editing those bug reports seems not to be allowed as expected, because selection to the category fields is lost when you edit the tracker item again to update it, and thus, since one of them is compulsory, the changes can not be saved if you don't re-select the category checkboxes.

This would be great ((tw:Dogfood)) to better organize our community and let users join groups according to their interests.

Double check that User Tracker Profile works as expected also in 15.x, since I got some feedback that it might not be working.

The tricky thing was to use the right profile, which I updated a few years ago with some extra fields for demonstration purposes. Called "User_Trackers" (non-intuitive, imho, but it was not me the first author of that profile):

I have a drop-down-with-other field with value 0 (zero) as default in a tracker form (so options for that field are "0,0"), but when I see the tracker dropdown to insert items, the drop down gets populated with some string about the sandbox...

Check the duplicate tracker item option is enable.
On a tracker duplicate an item.

It used to open in a modal which look ok.
Now it open in full page.
It doesn't look good.

I tested the duration tracker field on the test tracker at dev (here).

If I enter a value in the label and/or description field the modal close itself and the timer is not started.

If I don’t insert anything in the fields it stays and I can start the timer then close the modal and the timer work. (see the video)

Using tiki 25.3, I can add the duration field to the tracker and set second,hour,day,week,month,, yes/no etc.
I have all the recommended settings: CDN set to Non. VUE.js enabled. One preference hover comment says to enable vue.js integration, I do not have that preference.
So no widget appears in the form next to the field label.

I have tested 'Dynamic Item List' tracker field at version 12.0 alpha for upgrading from version 10. According from my simple test, it does not work.

The dynamic items list select gadget is too narrow to be useful. It should probably have a "form-control" CSS class, to widen it to the width of its container.

We recently upgraded from Tiki-4.X to Tiki-5.X. We are running Tiki-5.3.

When adding a new tracker item, the dynamic items list is not populated initially. After saving the item, and then going back to edit it, the dynamic items list works fine, even when changing the fieldIdHere.

Steps to recreate:
# Given a tracker 8 with a list of unique items (e.g. fruit) in field 41
** e.g. apple, pear, etc.
# Given a tracker 9 with versions of items in tracker 8
** field 47 item link to tracker 8 field 41
** field 48 item version
*** e.g. gala apple
# Given a tracker 10 with issues about a certain fruit and version
** field 51, item link to tracker 8 field 41 (options=8,41,0)
** field 52, dynamic list to tracker 9 (options=9,47,51,48,0)

I have a real-life case of three Trackers:
* Organizations (companies)
* Offices (within Organizations)
* Members

Offices have an Item Link to Organizations
Members have an Item Link to Offices and a Dynamic Item Link to Offices

This does not work:
* I can create/edit Organizations (OK)
* I can create/edit Offices (OK)
* When creating/editing Members, I can create missing Organizations in the Organizations Tracker (OK) But I can never select Offices. The drop-down is always empty… (NOT OK)

Note: I can also not create missing Offices in the Members creation modal but I went around this in real life using a template with an extra button. This is an off topic wish foe another wish.

If AptDetail Item is a tracker drop down field then Dynamic Items List (ie trackerid 1, field id 53) will produce blank items in its drop down list.

We are currently using v7. I have a dynamic items list set up where someone selects something and it populates a drop down under it, once the tracker item is saved it populates a table. To view any item you need only click it in the table and it takes you to that record. I have tried to do the same in v12 and instead of taking you to the record of Tracker B it takes you to the 'internal' tracker A. In V7 we uses a dropdown instead of an Item Link field but this no longer works at all! the box doesnt populate at all.

Is this a bug? if not is there anyway to make it backwards compatible or has this functionality been replaced?

We are looking to upgrade to v12 but this will break more than half the things we use this for!

"Dynamic items list" stopped working in trackers with current tiki3 code. It seemed to worked with tiki2, according to the nice documentation and screenshots created by ricks99:

Tracker plugin:
Imagine we would like to offer modification of a dynamic list field without offering modification of its reference field. In this case, the dynamic list should fall-back to a simple list with no selectValue calls in the js.

When I edit or create a tracker item (e.g. on the bug tracker) in a popup, and accidentally click on the area of the screen outside of the popup, the popup closes and all my edits are lost. This is a usability problem and all edit popups should be modal imho, especially this one :)

When editing a comment assigned to a trackeritem, the comment doe not update after save.
This happens only when codemirror is used.
When toogle "Highlighter" two times before hitting save, then the updated comment will be saved.
The reason seems to be that upon save, the updated comment is not read from the codemirror data structure, but from the initially loaded content saved in the textarea.

I was able to debug to the point where the POST request happens. That is tiki-jquery.js arround line 1740. There the wrong value is taken. Mabye also autosave.js is involved as well.

There might be some sharp edge somewhere with the new ((doc:PluginGanttChart)) or with the profile to showcase it.

Editing a Gantt Chart through its own UI shows missleading messages after resizing some bars: some success message in a remarksbox, as well as another remarksbox reporting some sort of error:

The error message is legitimate: field dependencies was set to be "mandatory", and it seems as if that the jquery gantt editor ui doesn't expose this field to Tiki, therefore tiki complains that this mandatory field is missing. Or well, this is my own "educated guess" on what might be happening. I've removed the "mandatory" value in that field in the profile at profiles.t.o (but not in the show2.t.o linked to this bug report).

So that the problem here might be that the success message is fake? (just another educated guess) {sign user="xavi" datetime="2019-08-14T22:04:34+00:00"}

Using tiki 2.1

Attempting to edit a tracker item,
the "field is hidden" option has specified viewable and editable for group editors, only. I want to change that setting to a "viewable only by creator and admin", and set the other two multiselect fields, left as blank (selecting the first option wich is blank), but I get this error on save:

Define a tracker with a drop down field (called "Location" in this example). Set the list of values so that one or more values have an embedded space like this:{CODE()}
Kitchen,Living Room,Half Bath,Study{CODE}
Now create a tracker item and set the Location field to "Living Room". When you save the item, the Location will be set to "Living Room" when you view the item. But when you edit the item, the Location will be changed to "Study".
The only workaround is to not create drop down values with spaces in them.
