After changing admin pass in a brand new Tiki install the user is sent to example.com/Homepage even if the preference was not enabled by default, and the server didn't support it, like in the case of show.t.o.

This can produce the awful impression that Tiki is broken just in your first trial/test in a server.

On "tiki.org/Versions" the link entitled: "Why PHP 5.5 and not 5.4" broken.

I have searched through the site and did not find it, so could not update it myself.

I did several upgrade lately from Tiki 15.x, Tiki16.x, Trunk, 15.4 package, 16.2 package and today’s daily from 16.3.

Somewhere near 15.4 release something was broken and the browsertitle pref is empty instead of showing previous data at tiki-install.php / Configure General Settings.

Found a bug in the Item Link field. (I'm Using tiki 15.0)

If you use it to link to a Text field, it will consider all identical items as distinct ones, even if you use "Only one random item for each label". It works well though if you use it with a dropdown (as explained in doc.t.o).

I found a temporary workaraound for this issue, by using the "Select multiple values" option, and the item link somehow works as expected, but for my usecase I cannot allow that.

So in the past I haven't had any problems with the Calendars working, but now it seems that the newest code from the trunk has cause the /calendars path to break. If I visit /calendar, or /tiki-calendar.php, the screen just thinks and thinks and after several minutes gives me a blank white screen.

Since this is the newest source code, I can't possibly be the only experiencing this same issue? I will do a demonstration below to see if this can be replicated.

Just recently tere was a new dialogue added to apply users. Today a popup opens and you can choose respectively multiselect groups to apply the users to or to remove users from.

I could not really test this good looking feature if it works spot on, or is tere would appear objections, because on save the user is not applied to the group - the setting is just ignored.

So on a site already having this update, I have to apply users to groups from tiki-admingroups.php tab 'members', which is a workaround, but not a good UX for te released system (thus a blocker).

I will look into it for a more detailed description lateron and try to find out who committed tis. Anyway, it would be nice, if someone of the coders could check and maybe fix ... I recon, that only a very little bit is missing.

Convene plugin missplaces the counts in columns after the winning choice. See it reproduced in the screenshot below:

After the count with the more votes (7, at the time of this writing), and the icon with the checkbox-like icon to indicate that this was the winning choice (Thu 15 Sep 2016 15:00 CEST), there is a button box in orange in the screenshot that should show a calendar icon, and that button allows to send that date to the pre-defined tiki calendar.

But no calendar icon is shown, and the count of votes for the next date (column in the table) is shown there instead ("3" instead of the calendar icon), and the next counts are also one column before where they should be.

Creating fresh new first Tracker in Tiki 15.x yells an error alert box now:

This was working in previous versions of Tiki (maybe oldish ones: 6.x, etc, afaik). I couldn't check when the regression was introduced.

Default Duration length in calendar events misscalculated (2h while times were from 18h to 19h)

At posting time, the times where shown (depending on where you click to add the event) either as from 0:00 to 1:00, from 18 to 19h, or from (in my last case) 10:41 to 11:41h.
But you you click at "Show Duration", they display 2h in both cases, even if they should display 1h.

Default pref allowMsgs set to y but not set to new users

When the same footnote is reproduced, this was detected in Tiki12 and both had the same number and would link to the same item in footnotearea

Now, as can be seen in our explanation page: [https://doc.tiki.org/PluginFootnote] duplicated footnotes are shown twice (the 3 & 4 both show ''Ibid.'')

Using "sameas" option is not really a good solution because adding a footnote above other footnotes does not recalculate the sameas parameter even though the number of the previous footnote changed.

It seems the regression was introduced by: http://sourceforge.net/p/tikiwiki/code/53263 but a simple rollback would remove the "class" option.

I suggest recovering the duplicate detection and also adding two new optional options:
Id (alnum)
sameasId (alnum)

so we can express that a footnote is the same as another by Id. This way, adding new footnotes only changes the numbers (displayed), not the Ids (not displayed).

The bug seems to be fixed by rjsmelo r58016 - ( thx Nelson for emailing me).
Before I close, I want to do a more in-depth test later to night or so, but it really seems to work (did resend out a wikisyntax-wysiwyg html+ txt version newsletter, that previously caused false encoding when received and today it was sent and received smoothly and intact).

Sometime between Sept. 4 and 25, hits on files (that is, the counter on file downloads) stopped working at https://themes.tiki.org/file27 . Three files uploaded since Sept. 25 show zero hits, even though I've downloaded each of them at least once to check the downloading, etc., both logged in as admin and not logged in.

My localhost branch 16 also shows this problem.

Chose a non-default workspace:

__Very low usability!__

At themes.tiki.org, theme .zip packages and screenshot image files added since Sept.15 aren't showing hits information. Hits says "0" in the standard UI and "unknown" in elFinder. I haven't tested yet on other sites.

I'm seeing the same problem at a trunk site. Hits are shown as "0" in "browse" mode, and the "Hits" column (including header) doesn't even display in list mode (in Trunk).

Update: This is still a problem at themes.tiki.org, and I can reproduce it in my localhost branch 16 site.

When the info icon for a file is hovered over, and if there is a lengthy description for that file, the popup box is oversized and does not render properly.

In Look and Feel admin, switching the font set to Glyphicon seems to have no effect. The font set being used is Font Awesome instead. Switching to the legacy icon set (.png images) does work ok. (Checked on my localhost branch 15 and trunk so far.)

I created a show instance (http://chibaguy-342-6164.show.tikiwiki.org) that confirms the bug: after switching to Glyphicons, Font Awesome is used instead (icons have a class like "icon icon-admin_search fa fa-search fa-fw ").

Didn't think it was related, but just to be sure I emptied the caches and rebuilt the search index, but no change.

Thanks for the feedback. I realize I was only checking the admin anchors (feature icons) on the admin pages, which aren't changing to Glyphicons, and assuming none of the icons are switching (although icons other than the admin anchors are switching). I'll rename the bug.
