Only on this site, when I check boxes in the Preferences, in the section named "MyTiki" (there is three checkboxes names "My pages", "My tasks" and "My items"), it works for the duration of the session. If I logout and then log back in, when I go in my preferences, all checkboxes that were selected are no longer checked. I don't have this problem with my tikiwiki 1.9.7 at work. Just with this dev.t.o site. I have no idea what might be the cause.

Is there any possibility to set the sender_mail to the users mail-address?

As I understand as newbie the code in messu-compose.php, the sender_mail should be the users mail address, if his mail adress is set public. somehow this doesn't work as I expected. Is my understanding wrong?

I'd like to set this to the users mail address, because many users don't realize that in replying to a mail send by the tiki they don't reach the original sender.

When user files area is empty it causes error displaying the content.
My tikiwiki is 1.9.1 with php5 and Postgresql 8.x

I have encountered many problems with this feature when activating on dev.tikiwiki.org

A- The site becomes very slow...

B- ((TaskModuleTest)) page is almost totally blank.

C- Should there not be a feature setting for all of this?

This should be migrated to the community site, and handled with ((doc:Organic groups)) and ((doc:User Trackers))

Load tiki-objectpermissions.php .... select only the "User" feature .... noting that "Show permissions for disabled features" is UNchecked .... tiki_p_configure_module does NOT appear UNLESS "Show permissions for disabled features" IS checked.

I think this points to something wrong; I don't know for sure about that; but I do know that tiki-user_assigned_modules.php dies with "You do not have permission to use this feature" apparently due to IT being unable to verify tiki_p_configure_modules which is in fact set for Registered+ groups.

<chealer> yohomer: it does appear if the options are checked in the module administration page...but this stuff is broken

<yohomer> thank you for the note .... my testimony above had "Users can configure modules" checked (sets user_assigned_modules) .... but not "Show module controls" (feature_modulecontrols)

also, with this configuration, "Modules" does appear in the MyTiki menu, but not in tiki-my_tiki.php

selecting the menu option (loading tiki-user_assigned_modules.php) dies with the error above.

Setting feature_modulecontrols ("Show module controls") enables the MyTiki Menus; but this should not be a requirement. It does help to point to the real problem. (I hope)

I am monitoring the dev.tw.o tracker and changed my e-mail adress to get the new tracker items to another mailbox.

Well, that didn't happen! ;)
And after re-subscribing to the tracker, now I get them twice - in both accounts.

I guess I'll have to change my mail-adress back and forth to unsubscribe..

amette update: just checked 1.9.x checkbox - more update: changing e-mail back and unsubscribing works flawlessly

That is truly confusing as the Tikiwiki system apart from that seems really polished. We started a new community page and realize that there truly is nothing like a user list in tikiwiki 3.2. The friendNetwork system shows as "deprecated" under "experimental" and the mods-section is empty except a few themes so the userlist-plugin is not there as well. It is unfortunately important for a bigger site to have a chance for normal user to search for user, list the team depending on groups people are part of and all this with a clickable list showing homepage (if entered), ICQ (if entered), a profile link, list of pages and forum posts etc.
All those I miss dearly and the tikiwiki documentation for the tracker (which seem to be able to do that with some programming?) is for a just-user-type like me not understandable I fear. :-/

When a user activates a theme in "My Tiki", he is unable to go back either to default site theme or to another one. The new profile is active during the user session, but once he logs off and on again, he stays with the first chosen profile.
This problem exists on this site.

Using 1.9.cvs, user uploaded avatars can only be viewd correctly if they are .gif images.

Shouldn't it allow at least, .png and .jpg images? (currently, it shows a black square, if so)

I've modified the tpl in cvs (branch 1-9) to guide users to upload their images in the needed format to work in Tiki. When (and if) fixed, please, change or remove that note in the tpl file
