When a tiki is on a server which has several domain names, have an option to force a redirect to one in particular (similar to force with/without www). Should be a "permanent redirect" HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently

This is related to the recently introduced feature to remove www or add www to Tiki sites

Specifically, all *.tikiwiki.org domains will progressively move *.tiki.org Both URLs will be kept forever but tiki.org should be the new main one that people see in their browser (and copy-paste from)

Our community needs some forums for the administrators only so that we can pass messages back and forth. However, there's no way to make any of this private. Any registered user can read and post what need to be private forums. In many cases you don't even have to be registered to read.

It's not easy to get information in your mail box from all tiki sites where discussions are held in forums, in order to find out which threads didn't receive any reply. Imagine the user forums (many) in t.o.: you need to browse through many forums to see the threads that didn't receive any reply yet, in case you know answers to amny questions, but your time is limited and you want to focus first in the threads that didn't receive any reply yet.

A new option to include '__Threads with no replies yet__' to ((doc:Daily Reports)) and to ((doc:Notification digests)) would be very useful. This idea is borrowed originally from vbulletin, which included this feature many years ago. See example of email received from another software (probably vbulletin, even if I can't tell for sure any more) where that section is included.

In fact, an even better solution could be to create a new module for "__Threads with no replies yet__", and allow some way to let the tiki admin include some modules in ((doc:Daily Reports)) and in ((doc:Notification Digests)).

In Tiki survey you have an question type "Heading" where you can set if it will be use as a pagebreak (newpage) and what heading type will be used.

At https://tiki.org/tiki-admin_survey_questions.php?surveyId=8 it started to work well and I had a survey divided in 3 pages. At some point it stopped to work and the all survey is displayed on one page.

I try to diagnose but could get back to the point I have the survey properly displayed in more than one page.

* I try to separate heading (avoiding one after the other)
* I try to reduce the number of pagebreak

Newsletter fails to be sent properly if article clipping is involved

We tried to send a newsletter, after the discussion held on
https://tiki.org/Roundtable+Meeting+2016+07

I tested the newsletter sending with Newsletter 6 (currently renamed to "Tiki News" after that ((tw:TRM)), with 850+ people subscribed to it) and with Newsletter 7 (test, with a few emails for testing).

It had some features/preferences related to clipping:

I did send a test newsletter (nlId=7) and just one email was sent for me, with no clipped articles (even if they were shown as html tags in the tiki send newsletter UI at sending time).
None of the other 6 emails address seemed to receive that email message.

I did unselect all the clipping features, tried again, and I got more email messages (if not all of them, mayube some servers take longer).

Update:
This is affecting also the newsletter sending from tiki.org, to communicate new releases to the subscribed users, and it provides very bad image of the polishness of newsletters in our own servers. {sign user="xavi" datetime="2017-01-10T09:32:11+00:00"}

Newsletters (in Firefox and Chrome) do not show the list of emails being sent to, that page where the list got updated as emails where being sent.

In Chrome they are shown as usual (as in 12.x)

Using Firefox 46 on GNU/Linux 64 bit (Ubuntu 16.04).

when I visit nextdev.t.o in mobile mode (using chrome on android), the wiki pages show up in non-mobile mode (the string "Loading..." shows up in clear text at the top of the screen).

When I move from wiki pages to tracker items, then mobile mode works as expected.

TEsting plugin list and plugin pivottable in trunk at nextdev.t.o, I 've just seen these errors in pages that were using plugin list, or plugin pivottable, such as:

I was surprised to see this result in a Google search today: https://nexttv.tiki.org/tiki-kaltura_video.php?mediaId=1_1nf2dfkt . No next/next username/password needed to access the site. Also, it's running Tiki18 so isn't a useful "next" site.

I can act that, with new version of the dev dev.interface:

- No efficient access to "list yours" (empty list with query error)
- No filter which don't reach "query error"

No more tool efficient to manage the report "bugs ans wish"

I stop till I don't receive a message telling that we can access to :
- filters on messages
- find my own message

It is not possible anymore to download a picture in this tracker if you try to navigate (browse) inside the file galleries to place the image in an existing gallery.
I tried dozens of time since yesterday.

Browsing through file galleries is insanely slow (but it was working before) a timeout is now occurring.

Update: The sorting is also broken (it used to sort date by time). The time insertion is very capricious mostly not working with the slider and only possible editing manually after several attempts. See: https://tiki.org/Roundtable-Meeting-2019-01

Update (20/01/18): The sliders are working but misplaced.

We are documenting some ((info:Use Cases)) which will become profiles. To be able to developer/test/improve these profiles, we would need a site like [http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=180|Open Source CMS] but for all profiles. This site only shows one profile.

These 20+ demo sites would provide admin access to easily test any profile. It would encourage people to generate and improve various profiles as well.

Organic Group Addon gone in current 14.x compared to what doc.t.o says about it

You may find prior tickets that are categorised as "Support request" where the creator of the ticket is not interested in paying for a fix."

This is confusing. Why was a tag re-used if it has a different meaning?

I have no idea how this applies to the TikiWiki development environment so I have to get some feedback. I am a Tiki newbie but an IT oldie. This what I envision and would like some pointers about developing it.

I want to put a model in place where I would "pre-develop" a web site, strip it to its minimum size (leave out unused features, styles, database tables, etc.) and then "deploy" the web site for an event. After the deployment, the site would then import items such as users, groups, etc. from likewise "pre-created" CSV??? files. Each event would be created and loaded from the master web site. At the end of the event everything would be archived for analysis use in planning another event.

I believe that this model would work best in the web hosting environment using a subdomain for each deployment and the subdomain would only exist for a period of a few days up to possibly a couple of years.

Any inputs regarding this paradigm will be greatly appreciated and any development work will be returned to the dev community.

Use case:

We want users to update their profiles every once in a while.

So the system should be reminding users to click on tiki-view_tracker_item.php?view=+user and update their user profile.

Eventually, an email reminder could be cool as well.

I've run a script on all profiles from all branches ( https://github.com/xavidp/TikiProfilesTester ) and I see that all profiles since 15.x throw this error message (which might be related to the fact that unified search index may be currently enabled by default)?
