I found out that the Security Ticket string (Security ticket timed out) from tiki-confirm.js are not translated and not even added to lang/xx/language.js

I understand I can add them manually but isn't bad for consistency in general.
Couldn't we have those string added in the lang/xx/language.js file like it is done for the php translation ?

Using the native Geolocation feature for Articles, Wiki Pages, Blogs, etc, once a geolocation is assigned, using edit properties, you can change the location, but you cannot detach a location. Sometimes, a location may be accidentally added, but one should not be a part of that page.

In my case, I have wiki page templates, I accidentally assigned that template a location, and now the template shows up on my map. There is no way to detach the geolocation from a page, article or blog.

Tried to create a Show Instance, but it's not working.

Even after the "Add default modules" button is clicked to add the modules, the button continues to display. Clicking the button again takes the admin to the admin-profiles page to find that the profile is already applied. The button should no longer display after the default modules are added, or should change to "Remove default modules". Also, IMO it would be good if there was a notice that the page is going to change/navigate to the admin-profiles page, maybe with a tooltip or helpblock text like "Apply Profile".

Also, the profile creates a wiki page called "Instructions - Admin UI Dashboard" that just contains a redirect to tiki-admin.php. This is confusing because there's no actual page, content-wise, and no instructions. Is this the stub of a feature that isn't finished yet?

Even when the new unified admin backend isn't turned on, adminui.css is active and imposes style details like link color that conflict with the active theme stylesheet in many cases.

I suggest the page elements of the new backend be given a unique parent class to distinguish them from, for example, the standard navbar that appears in the top or topbar zone when the new backend isn't active, so its CSS rules aren't erroneously applied.

Alternatively, adminui.css could just not be activated unless the feature is.

(Actually, IMO adminui.css (the visual rules like foreground and background colors, etc.) should be a theme (or two - light and dark) that can be selected, or a standard theme selected consistent with the "make it optional" rule. The adminui appearance could be the default for new installations, but could then be deselected for sites where maybe organization or corporate branding is a priority (and at sites that live on the wild side and don't need black and white menus ;-) ).

We need the footer at the bottom of the new Admin Unified Backend dashboard.

With a default Bootstrap menu in the footer, on the Unified Admin Backend page, menu item dropdowns drop down and the page isn't scrollable to reveal the dropdown.

With Smartmenus turned on, the dropdowns in the footer menu will scroll upward away from the bottom margin but only a few items can be seen because the dropdown is hidden or blocked by the div above the footer. It seems like maybe a z-index problem.

There are over 2000 prefs. Searching is critical.

When the menu is open, we have a nice search. Quick Access to that search should be always visible. Maybe a search-all-over-admin-panel action button in the top left?

On a Tiki24.1 I use many trackers

On one of those trackers all the fields permanent name have been modified and an underscore with 4 numbers was added.

However in the tracker the fields displayed the normal permanent name. (tracker_field_sessionsSelector)
I re indexed several times and the problem was still there.

I deleted the table :

And reindexed.

Surprise, now in the tracker => fields the permanent name has been changed to "tracker_field_sessionsSelector_7947"

I don't see anything in the tracker settings that could have done this

If you change a listing, like on the Wishlist, and change sorting order, the URL gets an additional mention of the sort order.

But it's reversed, compared to the actual setting. So if you want to sort the Wishlist by modification date, descending (which IMHO should be the default), so the latest are listed at the top, the URL states

User have no idea maintenance is underway when they are editing a page.
Admin (or an automated task) have no idea if users are working on a page before staring a disrupting maintenance task.

This is a pain, annoying and really bad for Tiki when after several minutes editing a page on save the user see the maintenance screen.

Due to the way Tiki security check work, reloading the page doesn't work.

On a Tiki24 I go to :/tiki-adminusers.php click on add a new user.
Fill everything but omit the email and click "Add".

I'm redirected a new page with an error:
"We were unable to create your account because this email is already in use"
Everything is lost.

Using Plugin Web Doc Viewer (https://doc.tiki.org/PluginWebDocViewer) I can embed in a Wiki page a PDF from a Tiki file gallery or an external URL (if it end with .PDF from my test) or a Google doc file (documents, spreadsheet, etc) from a Google drive.

Using the plugin Plugin Google Doc (https://doc.tiki.org/PluginGoogleDoc) I can embed a Google doc file (documents, spreadsheet, etc) on a Wiki page.

However I couldn't find a way to embed on a Wiki page a PDF file stored on a Google drive.
It just failed.

Creating a new page (e.g. -+Foo+- through the form in the wiki structure top bar produces a missleading error message:

On a Tiki23, I can activate the "Revision approval" feature for Wiki Pages at -+tiki-admin.php?page=wiki#contentadmin_wiki-3+-
Admin => Wiki page => Flagged Revision => Revision approval

This function then requires the user to select the categories that will be governed by this feature using the field "Revision approval categories".

This is workable if you have a few categories (like 10 or 20). However, if you have many categories and subcategories, it becomes very complicated and hard to understand how to manage them.

To add to the confusion, there is an "invisible" limit on the number of categories that will be displayed. By default, you will see only 50 category results because of the setting:
Look&Feel => Navigation => Limits => Maximum number of records in listings: 50

It is very hard to understand why you don't see all the categories if you are not a super power user.

I'm not sure how it was supposed to work but or it is deprecated and the documentation should be cleaned or it is broken as the result is not what expected.

On a Tiki23 I set a group (admin groups) to have a membership expiration date.

On Tiki24 I found out we have 2 wikiplugins Signature.
We should have a different name for different things the sooner the better.

Even if permissions are set correctly (tiki_p_edit) (tiki_p_edit_structures) not all groups will see the structure "Add page" field on the top of the page.

For example, registered (group that exist by default in Tiki) will see the field. A group I create, and with the correct permissions won't see the same "Add page" field.

The article types options are not applied on the article advanced tab.

Article type classified option enabled are by default as follow :
* __Heading only__
* Show image
* Show author
* Show publish date
* Show reads

When I create/edit an article, on the "Content" tab I accordingly sees only 2 fields: Title and __Heading__ .

But on the "Classification" tab I see 3 fields I shouldn't seems they are disabled : Topline, Subtitle and Source.

They used to be hidden when the option is disable.

Note they are not displayed on the article (even if there is a value) which is the expected behaviour.

On a Tiki23 in articles on the tiki "articles" view the URL of the article is changed for the URL in the article source field if there is one.
