Recently, I went into Admin and turned off one of the features in Admin at tiki-admin.php?page=features. The feature was Calendar in Global Features. But that brought up a problem that I was able to investigate in my host server's error logs:

I have updgrade Tiki 10.0 to 10.2. i have facing problem with both version.
Problem is when i click on Red Cross Delete button then it will displayed Blank page. but if i select remove option then it is working properly. so i have facing problem with delete button.

The bug has already been submitte via SourceForge and posted on the [https://tiki.org/Video+Team|Video Team page]

With respect to the JavaScript writing convention https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/JavaScript there are some places in Tiki where'JavaScript' is written'Javascript' which is not compliant and should be modified but in some cases these are keywords like for example -+<h1 class="Javascript">+- for such cases is it necessary to change this to __JavaScript__?

We are using LDAP authentication at our site and the email field is not being automatically filled in. This means we must manually setup our email for each user for the page change notifications to work.


Note we are connecting to an ActiveDirectory LDAP database which does not like anonymous binds so had to make a patch based on the following suggestion:

live.t.o: Add a new param to plugin BigBlueButton so that only recordings longer than X minutes are displayed

There are 140+ recordings, and most of them are kind of demo trials, of less than 10 minutes. Last year 2013 I spent like 1h reviewing the short meetings and deleting them from the recordings list, since they pollute the list. But every month there are new of those recordings, demo, tests, support requests in the wrong place, etc. and it's tedious to do this manual work, which might happen also in other sites using Tiki + BBB.

A simple workaround would be to add an extra param to the ((doc:PluginBigBlueButton)) so that only recordings longer than X minutes (default to 10' ?) are displayed in the recordings list.

I’m looking for a developer to implement in Tiki23 (master) more ways to login than just email. I would like to have a Facebook login (was working once) and a Google login (using google account).

I want to nkow if it is possible to integrate the tikiwiki login process with another page, I want to create another secure page using the tikiwiki login process, Do you guys have any hint for doing that?

My page will be in php also, I know that I will probably have to do some inclusion but don't which file to include in my code and which function.

Good Catch, Daniel, issue confirmed. Maybe there is some interference with PluginSlider, or maybe a regression coming from somewhere else.
You can log in through the direct login url:
https://tv.tiki.org/tiki-login_scr.php

Once there, if you go to the homepage, you can see the slider working in the homepage. But once you logout again, the slider is gone, and clicking at the login link in the header does nothing for me.

No idea how to solve, or where the source issue comes from.

After upgrading from 4 to 4.1
I now can't login to my tiki. Every time I try to login, I get the following error:
The page isn't redirecting properly

As Tiki 26+ needs PHP 8.1 of greater we need to add this to show2.tiki.org please.

Make PluginChart optionally reuse some other lib already in Tiki to make js-based charts (raphaeljs, chartjs, d3.js, etc)

By default PluginChart was able to produce these charts:

But it would make total sense to have the option to produce js-based or svg-based charts, like the ones currently produced by the Spreadsheet js feature ( , reuing raphael.js lib), or the ones in theory available in the ((doc:PluginChartJS)) plugin and lib.

Strategic feature to get Spreadsheets and charts out of them in the game again.

There is another request to have the png & jpg versions of the charts produced again (they are currently not shown), since this implies an easy solution for charts in PDF reports working automagically without requiring complex solutions to get js-based charts incluided in PDF reports.
This request, though, is to have an some optional parameter added to get the chart produced with some JS lib already in Tiki like the ones cited above. And we will see elsewhere how to ensure that they can be included in the printed PDF, etc.

memory exhausted (even if 1Gb allocated to php processes!) after uploading big pdf (20Mb with images) to file gallery and tiki works server side with pdftotext and others.

Untested in other versions of Tiki.
It might very well be a problem with pdftotext, because the file uploads to the server fine, and the server processes the file with pdftotext after that, before showing the error message. Apache error log says memory exhausted.

Hi, I've tried using Mini Quiz plugin and can't get it working. See ((http://cediapedia.net/tiki-index.php?page=Mini-Quiz-test|here)).

I'd appreciste if someone can confirm if it does work and the problem is my setup. If so, would it be possible to get an updated implementation guide, complete with all required fields. eg; I can't see how to set Trackers to differentiate correct and incorrect answers, or identify a question field from an answer.

Minify JavaScript breaks codemirror in doc.t.o 18.x.
Once minify js is disabled in the performance control panel, syntax highlighting works again as expected.
I detected it comparing the settings in dev.t.o (where codemirror worked as expected) and doc.t.o (where it didn't; and codemirror modes dropdown, when attempting to change highlighter, showed "null").

I created a PDF document from it.
As this is my first Bug report I hope I will be able to send the PDF attached to this Bug Report.

I'm creating a Tiki site with several small reusable bits of content (as Wiki pages). Cell phone users are my primary audience, so I'm relying on HAWHAW and HAWIKI. I'd like to use INCLUDE module or structures to reuse the content. Tiki handles it fine, but my mobile tiki doesn't support either INCLUDES or Structures. The INCLUDE lines pass right thru unparsed.

1. Is there an easy way for me to get INCLUDE to work?
2. Is it planned for support in a later release?
3. Are there plans for support for Structures?

some images are printed, but some others are not, and they seem to need to have no other params params than the minimum, however, using standard syntax from a brand new tiki site embeds wiki pages with a syntax that mpdf is not able to make it just work, and images are not shown in the pdf produced.

In a production server in our work, no images are shown in the pdf at all, with neither syntax. Is there any log file with potential information on why no images are shown in the pdf produced by mpdf?
I confirm that we have php7.0.* and php modules gd, & mbstring installed server side.

* replacing that old syntax with new and valid syntax (? intead of &) still yields some broken images in the pdf produced by mpdf. I granted access to amnabilal to a server where she can reproduce. Many banner advertisers use a javascript for banner adverting. Currently, there is no way to add a JS-based banner.

There is a string in /lib/prefs/username.php that really gives me headaches. How on earth does this have to be escaped, so tra() will catch it from the array_merge in custom.php?

Want generate an unique page name from an auto incremented ID. {$f_#} does not work in pretty tracker example nor {$itemId}. I need a single Wikipage for each item generated from a tracker form.

I've spent about 60 hours setting up and configuring a v2.4 TikiWiki (see Techiewiki.ca). For an existing bug (no preview button shows for registered users), I would like to install a patch someone has provided - but do not know where to begin.

I read NewbieDevTips and was strongly suggested to ASK before wasting hours and messing up my installation.

Since I'm more interested in configuring the software than becoming a developer - is there an easy way to do this?
