Hello Carten:
No, the onix framework is not lgpl. The organisation is.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The ONIX for Books Product Information Message is the international standard for representing and communicating book industry product information in electronic form.
(Therefore, it is a policy making organisation.)
EDItEUR is the international group coordinating development of the standards infrastructure for electronic commerce in the book and serials sectors. EDItEUR provides its membership with research, standards and guidance. They are a non-profit organisation.

Of course, there are *for profit* companies who benefit from this. Companies who sell Onix readers and Onix files (mainly xml sheets) editors, etc.
Where am I getting to with this? The idea that is behind what I'm saying about a Tiki Wiki Book is to expand in the direction of *the industry*.
If we look at where the creation, publication and distribution of online books is going, we can pretty much be sure that this Tiki Wiki Book project will need, in a certain way and not to distant future, to comply with the rest of what is available on the internet.
For example, see: http://pediapress.com/ and how it is interweaved with wikipedia (or the other way around, that is ;-)
What would be nice to have is to add to Tiki Wiki Book current printing feature (Multiprint, Print Structures, Print Indexed ) another feature named: Print to dissimate.
Daniel.
Hi Daniel,
is the onix framework lgpl?
Looks like a proprietary license
