Webmail has been revamped by Jonny Bradley in Tiki3 and Tiki4 to introduce Groupmail, and later massively improved by Victor in Tiki20 and Tiki21. See Cypht integration and Email as a first-class citizen

when replying to an inbound mail or sending a new mail it is sent from the user's system email address - and not from the webmail account email address - which is not logical
