Local reference handling has been added to Tiki (23 Apr 12). Please see http://doc.tiki.org/References for the documentation.

Suggested Improvements

• Move the feature on/off setting from "Features" to "Wiki"
• Activate/Deactivate reference plugins by along with the feature_references setting
• Add the reference plugins to the toolbar, when feature_references is enabled. Remove them when it is disabled.
