When trying to upload, delete, or otherwise modify files, the file gallery returns HTTP error 504 Invalid Backend Response. This occurs with both the default file explorer and elFinder.
After refreshing the page, the requested action appears to have executed anyway (i.e. when trying to delete a file, error 504 appears and the file does not disappear, but upon refresh it is gone).
Previously, files would upload quickly and immediately appear in the file gallery, or be deleted and disappear immediately.
The error appears regardless of file type (tested .jpg, .png, .pdf, .txt, docx) and quantity (tried 1, 2 and more files at a time). Each file was less than 250kb each. The upload/delete progress bar in elFinder is also very slow now, even when performed on a single file.
The issue seems to have gotten worse over time as more files were uploaded to the file gallery, where before the error only appeared occasionally when trying to upload/delete a large number of files. Prior to this error, I did encounter instances in elFinder where the progress bar would stall and eventually show a failure message, despite the files actually being successfully uploaded.
I checked php.ini and made the following adjustments without success:
The URL for the show2.tiki.org instance that demonstrates this bug is at: http://simplypotato-12050-8181.show2.tiki.org. Note that if you get a popup asking for a username/password, please just enter "show" and "show". This is different from the initial login and password for a new Tiki which is "admin" and "admin".
For the install log, see http://simplypotato-12050-8181.show2.tiki.org/info.txt
Note that if you see PHP errors or a Tiki claiming to be missing third party software, the instance creation is probably not finished. Please wait a couple minutes and reload.
Snapshots are database dumps of the configuration that developers can download for debugging. Once you have reproduced your bug on the show2.tiki.org instance, create a snapshot that can then be downloaded by developers for further investigation.
Snapshots can be accessed at: http://simplypotato-12050-8181.show2.tiki.org/snapshots/. Note that if you get a popup asking for a username/password, please just enter "show" and "show".
