Codemirror is not showing links to switch the highlighter even if the preference is correctly set to do so.
Tried using firefox and chrome, with my user "xavi" (no admin rights) and "xavidp" (admin rights): same effect.
The preference is still set as
Configuration Wizard > Set up Text Area > Syntax highlighter (CodeMirror) Theme > "Off (but switchable)"- Solution
- It was an invalid report, because the global preference for the codemirror feature was set to off, and I just looked and the second preference which applies only to tikis where the global pref of codemirror is on.

- new pref to disable codemirror in page view mode but allow to "Off (but switchable)"
- new pref to set codemirror lazy mode below each textarea, so that the user can click there to get the highlighting on per textarea where the interest is for that user?. See
